Date security upward for Windows Vista (KB2644615)
Date of security upward for Windows Vista (KB2644615) has my computer in a loop of the installation, how to fix this?
Hello
Method 1:
You can run the fix - it from the following link.
The problem with Microsoft Windows Update is not working
http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/windows_update/
Method 2:
I suggest to temporarily disable the antivirus installed on your computer program and then try to install the updates. Check out the following link.
Disable the anti-virus software
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/disable-antivirus-software
NOTE: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
Method 3:
Step 1:
Try to put your computer in a clean boot state, and then try to install Windows vista service pack 1 manually.
By setting your boot system minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. Read the following article.
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: once you are done with the boot, please follow step 7 of article to reset your computer to normal startup.
Step 2:
Try to install the updates manually. Check out the following link.

update of security (KB2676562) has already been correctly installed 21 times, began towards the end of May. Update for Windows Vista (KB2679255) was successfully installed 35 times, he began in mid-April. These two continue to update themselves every day and do it at least twice a day, back to back. It is very frustrating to have to deal with that and makes me think that something may be a problem with my computer. I had heard of registry cleaners is not not a good thing to use, if recently I not unhooked my registry free cleaner. I hope that it has not caused my computer to lose any registry key values. Does anyone know a possible solution or what I need to do? I thank everybody help, please!

There were 68 'important' or 'recommended' updates automatically installed since 03/09/09. What concerns me, is the amount of disk space I'm dedicated to these updates. Replace the previous updates or are they cumulative? How do I know what to do these updates and their size?
myrmur,
You can find the details about the particular update you want from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=7d72f845-9feb-4685-a669-f9d6ab54f9ed&displaylang=en
Simply enter the number in the search box and you will get the details about the update.
Various updates are of different size. You can check if you need all of the updates and install only those you think necessary. If you are not sure about this, you can go ahead and install the important updates!
Let us know if this has been helpful!
See you soon!

I recently met problems to install the window updates three published on 10/04/12. These are: a security update Cumulative for Internet Explorer 9 for Windows Vista (KB2675157) download size: 10.9 MB type of update: Important Security Update for Windows Vista (KB2653956) download size: 211 KB update type: Important; Update for Windows Vista (KB2679255) download size: 2.0 MB update type: recommended; A security update cumulative for Internet Explorer 9 for Windows Vista (KB2675157) download size: 10.9 MB update type: Important.
I tried all the resets and made several attempts to install. Nothing works and I had to put my computer on controlled facilities because these installs interferences with the start to the top of my computer after power off. The installation process caused delays important in the start menu upward to end up a failure to install notification.I've never had a problem to install other updates to Windows on my system.Any help would be appreciated.Hello
