Wireless disabled after reboot

I have a HP laptop with a physical hardware switch on the adapter wireless with an indicator light. I did a clean install of Windows 7 Professional 64 - bit with no updates of Windows. I installed the latest drivers for everything. The wireless card is the Intel PRO/Wireless 3945abg, and I use the version of the driver 13.5.0 on the Intel site.
When the wireless switch is in the "Off" position the light is orange/amber color. When the switch is in position "On" light is blue.
Problem:
The process Windows Shut Down via restart, stop, or pause extended, the blue wireless light turns amber. When I turn on the laptop, the witness remains orange although the wireless switch in position 'On'. The laptop does not connect to the network until I have turn 'Off' wireless switch 'On' so he can change to blue and function normally.
Before my clean install of Windows, whenever I chaque fois que je serait would be restarts Windows, as the laptop would start up, at some point the witness would be blue and automatically connect to my wireless network. I never turn off the wireless switch (I always leave it in position "On").
I tried the things:
Update the BIOS
Installed all the updates of Windows to SP1
IPv6 disabled
Reinstall the Wirelesss map
Downgraded the wireless card drivers
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Andrew

Imran, thanks for your help. I was able to find a solution to my problem.

On a whim, I installed HP Wireless Assistant tool from the HP support site. I then restarted Windows and the wireless device is turned on and the light was blue.
HP wireless Assistant:
Thanks again for your help.
Andrew
P.S. I uninstalled the HP Wireless Assistant tool, and the wireless device is still working properly and turn on when I restart Windows.

  • WLS-9163 is unable to reconnect in wireless mode after reboot in a WLAN with broadcasting SSID

Initial configuration is defined by MAX using cable.  Wireless configuration is DHCP, with Infrastructure, WPA - PSK.  I save the settings and unplug the wired connection.  Then I delete the original instrument from the list of devices OR DAQmx of MAX.  Then I do a 'find network DAQmx Devices'.  The wireless device is discovered and works (self-test passes).  WLS link on the device indicator is green.

Then, if I cycle power on the 9163, the WLS link never comes.

This seems to be because my thread is not broadcasting an SSID.  If I go to a nearby access point and turn on the SSID broadcast, the WLS Link LED lights and MAX can review system.

Is there a way to make the 9163 connect to a WLAN that don't broadcast a SSID?

    Burned - salvation

First of all, thank you for the detailed notes. This helps a lot. You have the right version of DAQmx; now, we just need to upgrade the firmware. Here's how:

After you have added the device in MAX (preferably on an Ethernet connection), click the button "Update Firmware":

You will get a window that looks like this, where you can see what version of firmware you have. Click the folder to find the new firmware. It takes by default in a directory on your hard drive that contains the file 'ni9163fwROM.cfg' (if that's not listed for some reason, you can find it here: C:\Program Files\National Instruments\NI-DAQ\fpgafiles\mionetwork\ni9163)

After the start of the update, you will look at a window of the scrollbar for a minute or two. Then, the device will be auotmatically reboot. You may need to reconfigure your settings after the update.

Regarding the deletion/time that you did. You should not. After you have configured the wireless, you should see an IP address in MAX on the wireless tab. If she is not there, click "Refresh" now you can pull the Ethernet cable and continue to use the device. (If you want to convince yourself, click on the "Refresh" button again and you will see that the "Link Status" for the "Wired" connection is "down".)

I hope this helps. Let us know what happens. Thank you

  • WIFI disabled after reboot or sleep on the Satellite A100

Hi, how to solve this problem?

After restart or sleep, hibernation I must manually reconnect WLAN (turn off and again switch on the right side) to use internet again.
    Can WLAN reconnect somehow automatically?
    Thank you.

    Hello

Usually the books should connect automatically after wake place of hibernation or standby.
This isn't the problem on my Satellite M40.

But I think it depends on the wireless network card that is used in Notepad.
My M40 supports the Atheros card and I use the Atheros client utility instead of the WLan Windows own configuration option to connect to the router.

Maybe you should try to establish the WiFi connection using the extra as Intel ProSet for Intel cards or as spoken WLan configuration utility above Atheros Client utility for Atheros cards.

  • Network controller wireless disabled by Device Manager

    Hello team,

I recently installed Windows 7 again on my hard drive and then I downloaded all the drivers for my laptop from the HP website. My laptop is HP Pavilion DV6 - 2155dx Entertainment. I installed all the drivers, but when installing controller driver Realtek Ethernert, I found an error, he stated that "the Realtek network controller is not found. Insert or reinsert now' I also installed HP Wireless Assistant after installation and reboot, the wireless assistant says that wifi is disabled (light orange on the keyboard) but when I try to enable it, it turns blue, but it indicates that the wireless adapter is disabled by the Device Manager. I also checked the menu boot or bios and found that it was for the already active wifi. In Device Manager I can find the device with yellow signal. "I'm not able to understand what exactly the error is like in the Device Manager it is showing the device and installing the drivers, is to show that it is ejected / disconnected.

    Could you please help.

Actually try updating your driver and disabling the network logon.

  • Try to connect to the wireless computer after freshly installed Windows says I am connected to the router, but I have no internet access

    Original title: connection problem

Hello! I recently did a clean installation of Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and I use a wireless USB adapter. Windows says I am connected to the router, but I have no internet access, and I have this yellow on trinagle. Work of all my other Windows 7 PCs, but this one. Could someone help me? Thank you!

    Hello

Welcome to the community forums of Microsoft and thanks for posting the question. I've surely you will help find a solution on the issue. I see that you are unable to connect to the wireless network after you perform a new installation.

I suggest you to consult the steps described in the article:

    Method 1:

You can try the steps in the link and check.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/help/wired-and-wireless-network-connection-problems-in-Windows

You can update the driver of windows 7 on the manufacturer's Web site.

    Method 2:

You can remove and re-create the wireless network connection, follow these steps:

    a. Click Start, type ncpa.cpl , and then press on Enter.
    b. right click on your wireless network connection and then click Properties.
    c. click the wireless networks tab.
    d. under preferred networks, click your Wireless
network and then click on remove. e. click on view Wireless networks.
    f. under management of the network, click refresh the network list.
    g. under Choose a wireless network, click the wireless network to which you want to connect, and then click Connect.

    Method 3:

If the steps above don't you can uninstall and reinstall the NIC drivers and check with the question.

    a. click on Start menu, in the Search tab type devmgmt.msc and press ENTER.

    b. right click on network adapters and click Uninstall and restart the computer.

    c. after rebooting, install network cards and check with the question.

    Method 4:

You can temporarily disable the antivirus and firewall on the computer and see if it helps:
    Enable or disable Windows Firewall
NOTE: Turn off Windows Firewall might make your computer (and your network, if you have one) more vulnerable to damage caused by worms or hackers.
You can see the following link to disable the Antivirus installed on your computer software.

NOTE: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks

Please follow these recommended steps and post if you still experience the problem. I'd be happy to help you further.
  • 29 Firefox: toolbar guard reset after reboot

    Hello

I use Firefox 29 since the first beta, and I did several customization menu. But if I take the 'Star + favorite' icon to the next restart I find in its default location (that is, before the menu button).
Other items added to the toolbar disappear after reboot as well.

I tried to return to default and the problem persists.

I also tried to delete the localstore.rdf file and the problem remains.

The problem is somehow similar to the following

    https://Bugzilla.Mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=854226

I prefer not to create a new profile since I many extensions, so I ask if there is another file, containing these customizations, what I could try to remove it.

    Thank you.

Underpass, I'm sure you're problem is caused by one of your modules.

Can you try to pin-point the offending module? I would suggest the following method:

    1. Cut the half of your add-ons (disable in the Add-ons Manager) and restart Firefox.
    2. If the problem is still there, turn off half of the other add-ons and restart Firefox.
    3. Continue step 2 as long as you can reproduce the problem.
    4. If the problem in not there anymore, the offending module is among the list you just disabled and should be easier to find.

    Thank you!

  • Can not see my own account after reboot

After reboot I can only see the original user on my Mac + comments, but not the one I added.

The original is my wife so if it connects inn, first of all, I'm able to move my user by logging out (users obtained all visible) or by selecting my self in the menu to the left of the projector users.

Upgrade to 10.11.4 to see if there was a problem with 10.11.3 who was present when the account is added.

It's annoying to sort of not finding your own account and I wonder what's wrong.

    Anyone with an idea?

    Hello dusanofrode,

Thank you for contributing to the communities of Apple Support.

If you cannot connect to the original account on your MacBook Pro, looks that FileVault has been activated. It encrypts the bootable floppy and requires that the original to "unlock" before user other users can subscribe in their user accounts. I can see how that might be irritating in the circumstances, and I have a few suggestions to check the situation and helps connect you to your account a little more quickly.

To see if FileVault is turned on, connect to the user account of your wife and choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, click on Privacy & Security, and then click FileVault. You can find more information about FileVault in Use FileVault to encrypt on your Mac startup disk.

If FileVault is turned on, you have two possibilities to be able to connect to your user account to start.

    • "Activate" your user account to connect to start up the Mac. You can do it in the preferences of FileVault (located under Security and confidentiality in system preferences):

    Allow users

Click to enable users to log on at startup and unlock the encrypted information on the Mac. Users who are not enabled need an administrator to log on before you can use the Mac.

Of OS X El Capitan: FileVault pane of security & privacy preferences

    • Turn off FileVault:

When you turn off FileVault, the encryption is disabled and the contents of your Mac is decrypted. Decryption may take some time, depending on the amount of stored information. However, you can still use your Mac to perform other tasks while the information is that is decrypted.

    1. Choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, click on Privacy & Security, and then click FileVault.

    2. Click on the lock icon to unlock, then enter an administrator name and password.

    3. Click on turn off FileVault.

    4. Click on disable encryption.

Of OS X El Capitan: turn off FileVault encryption

    All the best.
