Wireless disconnects the transfer of large files

Hello

When large amounts of data transfer (in one or several files - no difference) of my D520 wireless on my desktop via a belkin F5D7632v1000 drops wireless connection and the transfer stops. Happens usually somewhere between 30 and 100 MB. When falls and displays cannot restore, connect by clicking on OK re - find the network again. I had this problem once on an old HP laptop and it was something to do with needing old drivers for the wireless card. The map in this particular laptop is a Dell 1390. Driver 4.100.15.5.

Now, I had this before, when I had a laptop to work the same and had diversity of main antennas set in advanced settings for the card and I disabled the IBSS 54 g protection mode. However, this doesn't do the trick. Unfortunately, I don't have access to check the other settings in the advanced wireless adapter properties. Does anyone have a failsafe of the advanced settings of the adapter set? See you soon.

  • 3 GB MD033 Time Capsule data rate lowers up to 5 MB/s during the transfer of large files

    Hello, guys!

    My MD033 (2011) / 3GB TimeCapsule lowers throughput for the disk transfers built up to 5 MB/s.

    Is this a bug or feature?

    This bug has been present for early 2013. Since then, I changed 2 iMac 27 and 1 iMac, retina. Traded my TC three times by Apple Care coverage. Change a cable connection from TC to iMac twice. Problem remains. A persisted on all platforms of Cougar to El Capitan.

    Video which revealed a problem can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/b3ve9w53ixru5rv/IMG_0700.MOV?dl=0

    It ALWAYS happens. No exclusion. Sooner or later, transfer rate drops to 3-5 MB/s

    NOTHING similar happens when I copy a large file to a PS located in the same network. 50 - 70 MB/s ever.

    I just work on the same problem thread.

    irregular flow oddly with two TCs problem

    It starts fast and then slows down to a crawl.

    I don't solve it on the other thread... so let me ask how much patience you have and the ability to diagnose network problems?

    I don't have a miracle solution... money.

    (Actually a single shot of a 3030 fix it permanently..!)

    If you are willing to continue what I'm happy to try...

    NOTHING similar happens when I copy a large file to a PS located in the same network. 50 - 70 MB/s ever.

    This indicates that the TC is not the question... It's the Mac that has problems. (PS = PlayStation?)

    In the Mac

    You must have OFF wireless.

    It is better to use Configuration ethernet with link-local only for IPv6, except if you need full IPv6... Tell me if this is the case.

    I do the same thing you are. But I can't reproduce your slowdown.

    Open the activity monitor and track your use of the CPU. A single process hits 30% usage during playback... Therefore, it is quite high.

    Also check the network. Read (green) and Write (red) make the perfect range scans.

    I wonder if the TCP window is set incorrectly by default in your computers... I use a Mac Mini i7 with SSD is fast but 2011.

    It is difficult while I can't reproduce the problem.

  • MD1000 thus slows the transfer of large files

    We have two MD1000 SAS attached to a Dell R710 Server storage arrays.  During a large file transfer (40 + GB) at one of the tables MD1000 it will slow down the way down for analysis.  It seems as if it is slowing down at the same location every time we try to transfer a file.  The another MD1000 connected to the server has no problems with file transfers.  This only happens when we copy to the MD1000.  Copy of the MD1000 works as it should.  Smaller files transfer copy very well.  The Dell Server Manager shows no errors with everything.  PERC card batteries are low or bad.  Any suggestion is appreciated!

    Hello, jsalyer350.

    It seems to me that your PERC could be set in mode 'Writing with' - where data passes the cache and writing "across" the disks. This can be VERY time consuming, because you are waiting for the real moving parts. PERC would be required to be paid in "Writing Back" mode, where you can make using the cache of the and have a single stream of data on the disks.

    PERC can be put into "Write-Through" mode if the battery is not, loses the ability to charge to hold the cache, etc. Maybe the battery charge lost and then has been charged, but the setting has never changed.

    You should find this setting in OMSA, otherwise after back and let me know.

    I hope this helps. Have a great rest of the week.

  • Transfer of large files on home network freezes and stop the transfer

    I have a HP Desktop running Windows 7 and laptop HP on Vista 64-bit. I have two networked computers on a home network with a 3Com network 10/100 16-port switch.  When I try to transfer files greater than approximately 2.5 gigabytes between two PCs, file transfer will hang and stop after about 2.5 gigabits. Below the size of this file, generally no problem, the transfer ends. The two PCs have file sharing turned on and as mentioned on any file less than 2.5 gigabits transfer / very well.  Is there some sort of transfer of files, size limit on Windows Vista and 7 OS?  Are there settings that I can change to allow to transfer large files? I got an old Sony PC running Windows XP and I could transfer files more than 2.5 gibabits to my storage device shared networked home without any problem.  But under Vista and 7 OS, even once, I can't transfer any file more 2.5 gigabits to my home network shared storage device.  Anyone has any ideas how to solve this problem? Thank you. NEOhio123

    I fixed this problem on my laptop running Windows Vista 64 bit. I remembered that first of all, this started occurring after that I used the IOLO System Mechanic 9 network optimization tool to optimize the settings of my network on my laptop.  So I ran the cancellation on my Windows Vista laptop, and now the laptop with Vista will once more to transfer large files. If a note to all of you who use System Mechanic... do not function of optimization of the network on a Vista PC tool run... .or if you wash and start experiencing problems of transfer of large files... run the cancel this function and rebooting.  You should be able to transfer large files again. I just sent IOLO an email to warn of this problem with the optimization tool of the network within their product of System Mechanic 9.

    UNFORTUNATELY, my new desktop computer running that Windows 7 has still this problem , it stops file transfers after about 2.5 gigabits are sent to my device of storage attached to the network or the laptop. I learned that this seems to be a problem in a way. I can pull large files of my storage device, network or laptop, I can not just to transfer large files to these devices with the Windows 7 desktop. So if anyone has any ideas of how to resolve this problem of transferring large files with Windows 7, I would appreciate your insight.

  • Transfer of large file to external drive

    I'm trying to transfer a big file (4.5 GB movie .mpeg) of my computer on an external hard drive. The external drive has 320 GB of space with 82 GB used. I get the following message appears when I try to move the file "the file _ is too large for the destination file system." Please tell me how to change the settings to allow the transfer.

    Be careful. While Michael Murphy is right to identify the cause of your problem (indeed, if it is in FAT16, it would have only a 2 GB limit (you don't mention the FAT version you are using)), it is not correct in the solution (or the implementation of the solution - although that would work, but perhaps with consequences you don't want).  To convert a partition FAT32 to NTFS you would NOT format the drive, as shown above in the previous post (or you lose everything on the external hard drive and need to restore your backup data, re - install all your programs loaded on this drive, reset all preferences on programs loaded on this record,...).  Instead, you will use the convert command. http://techblissonline.com/fat32-to-ntfs-conversion-in-windows-xp-or-vista/.  Who would preserve all your data, programs and settings while still doing the job.

    It is probably better formatted to NTFS anyway because that gives you access to features and options that are not otherwise available (such as the security of the file/folder) and is overall a better type of system.  There ARE reasons to keep FAT32 as the type system (that they are less important to be able to copy large and some of the other features of NTFS file sizes) but you none of them mentioned in your message, and they are rare (especially compatibility with older or no computer systems).  Here is an article on making this choice: http://www.theeldergeek.com/ntfs_or_fat32_file_system.htm.  You can read to see if any apply to your situation.  If you decide to keep the FAT32 (for some reason any assuming that it is the version you have), you will have to live with the limitations of transfer size of this type of system - there is no other way around it.

    I hope this helps.

  • Why not have transfer of larger files and function to keep Logo?

    I tend to like most of the Adobe products and I actively get others to use Adobe products.  However, this product is not worth the headache - you want us to use it or not?  There is no legitimate reason for Adobe to have so many restrictions on this type of product, especially when none of your competitors has them.  The logo was the main reason I chose AdobeSendNow at the expense of others.  Although I have never happy to not be able to send files greater than 2 GB when competitors allow up to 20 GB.  In addition, why are there so many types of limited files? This type of service should be automatically including all current and known file types used by PC and Mac.  because of all of this, I am obliged to pay and use another service to do my work today.

    I do not understand the logic of NOT respecting this than your competitors providing and noticed which includes end-users as most.  After reviewing the information, create a service that integrates and improves on all of these features, including the new features in Adobe original.  Now, Adobe should have a service that can easily be a product in this category.  It seems that whoever is responsible for this product/service does no sincere effort by creating a leading product.  This product has ceased to be an average product with some 'cool' features, for the worst product in its class.

    I really hope someone at Adobe pays attention to these comments and upgrade Adobe send to a leader of the actual product.

    Support for much larger files and sending brand has been added during the summer.

  • Transfer of large files

    I have a few movie files that are more than 4 GB. When I try moving them to my external hard drive a window appears and says that the file is too large to move. The hard drive is formatted in fat32. Is it possible to transfer these files without reformat the external hard drive to NTFS? My OS is Vista Basic, 32-bit. I also have Service Pack 1. The method I use is right-click-drag the file and then say to move.

    I know I said originally in the other thread you need to reformat, but that's not true. You can convert the disk with a DOS command (but you can always save something important on the disk, just in case). Go to start > run and type "cmd" in the dialog box and click OK. This will open the DOS command prompt. Now type "convert X: /fs:ntfs" (replacing it with the correct drive letter for 'X').

  • What PC configuration for the treatment of the image of large files?

    I intend to get a new PC to work on large image (1-3 GB) PS CS4 files (I work with camera 8 x 10 inch back and then analyze the negatives). I was thinking about Core i7 with Quadro FX1800 PNY and 6 GB of RAM. What is a good choice or rather exaggerated? Of course, I was also thinking about a ProMac, but found no real advantages over a PC. Any helpful suggestions would be highly appreciated. Eckart

    the thing with Home Premium, Business and Ultimate, is that it can access 'only' 16 GB of ram (compared to 128 GB for the other 2). Here's another comparison: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-vista/compare-editions/default.aspx

  • Digital rights after the transfer of music files on the new office.

    I'm sure this has been asked before, so I apologize for the duplication, but I don't even know where to start looking.  I recently bought a new desktop computer with Windows 7.  This platform is an upgrade to my previous Vista PC.  This computer has more than 1000 songs purchased through Amazon, old Yahoo and even more old Music game platforms.  No problem burning CDs from the old pc.  However, after transferring my files to my new pc, none of the songs I downloaded play, instead, I get a message do not have DRM.  What I have to go back to my old pc and burn each song on a cd, or y at - it an easier way to put them on my new desktop PC?  Thanks in advance.

    Hi Jcmcn5,

    Welcome to Microsoft Windows 7 answers Forum!

    To resolve this issue, reset the DRM Bank on the computer. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. If Windows Media Player 12 is running, quit Windows Media Player 12.

    2. Locate the DRM folder on the hard disk, and then rename the folder to DRMbackup DRM.

    Note By default, this folder is located in the following location in Windows 7:

    \ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\DRM

    3. visit the Microsoft Web site at the following address:

    http://drmlicense.one.Microsoft.com/Indivsite/en/indivit.asp

    4. follow the instructions on the website to update the safety component of Windows Media Player 12. This procedure allows you to obtain new licenses for media content. You can also reset licenses for purchased content so that you can play that content on a computer.

    Note On a Windows 7 computer, you must run Internet Explorer as an administrator before update you the safety component of Windows Media Player 12. To do this, follow these steps:

    a. click Startand then click all programs.

    b. right click on Internet Explorerand then click run as administrator.

    If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click continue.

    Note You must contact any third-party stores where you purchased music to reset the licenses for that music. If you copied CDs for protected Windows Media Audio files, the CD must be copied again.

  • Adding a song to my little video music makes the exponentially substantially larger file and more

    It's already a mp4 I bought on iTunes, high quality. The video is one minute and 19 seconds long and goes from 8 megabytes before and 32 megabytes after, both being the export results for MP4. As you may or may not know, the author determines the duration of the composition, so the song stops automatically. I have also reduced the song on the timeline for good measure and has not made a difference. I also tried to reduce the quality of the audio and video through the rendering options when I queue it, but try to make the video in this way causes the program to freeze for about five minutes before responding with a cryptic message and restarting the program. Even the size of the song file is only 8 MB, so the finished product should not be so. All the tips?

  • The publication of large files in several small?

    Hello everyone.

    I have a project, almost 16 MB. It; quite large s and users must wait a while to get the tutorial.

    I tried this. I divided the porject in various projects such as 1. menu, 2. Description, 3. practice. and then I link the menu projeect description, convenient and so on. So it works very well! I think it is a good solution to stop the annoyance of students. Now, there's a small problem on this... THE TABLE OF CONTENTS. For each project, there is a table of contents.

    So, how can I do to get the same table of contents in all projects? or better yet, how can do to publish the entire project, but as streaming, I mean instead of loading the 16 MB that I want it to load deppending on the slide with the student. Is this possible?

    1 million thanks!

    Ben

    Hello

    There are a lot of variables involved here, such as Captivate version as well as the way in which you present to the table of contents.

    If you are using Captivate 3, perhaps explore the MenuBuilder application.

    If you are using Captivate 4 or 5, you might consider using the application of the aggregator.

  • transfer large files

    I'm trying to transfer a large file video AVCHD 7.3 GB of my portable hp7 to a flash drive or drive hard usb. Despite trying various devices and have more than enough detached 450 GB of memory! When I try to move the file, I get an error message saying that the file is too large to move. I can move the file internally on the pc. I am using windows 7 and have been moved successfully to 4 GB files on USB.

    Thank you John d

    Hi John,.

    Maybe it's because your USB and external HARD disk are formatted in FAT32 - try the following.

    First of all, make sure that there are no important file on the USB as the next process will delete the.

    Insert the USB stick into your PC, cancel no matter what Autorun window, click on the Menu start, open the computer, left click on the USB key once to highlight and then right-click and select Format.  Under file system, select NTFS from the drop-down list, and then click Start.

    Once this done, see if you can now copy 7.3 GB file on the USB.

    Kind regards

  • on the large file download problem. Pls help. Thank you very much

    Hello.

    My application got a function is the downloading of files. App works when I download a small file (like a video (4 MB)).

    But had a problem about large file download.

    1. when I try to open a video file (size: 30 MB) use the code below, it cost much too much time to open it, how to optimize? :

               FileConnection fc = (FileConnection) Connector.open("file:///" + filePath);
                InputStream is = fc.openInputStream();
                ByteArrayOutputStream baos = new ByteArrayOutputStream();
                int j = 0;
                while((j=is.read()) != -1) {
                    baos.write(j);
                }
                postdata = baos.toByteArray();

    2. What is the file size limitation in by Httpconnection? HTTPConnection may transfer a large file (like 30MB video)?

    Any smaple can share to me?

    Thank you very much.

    In addition to what maghue gave you, I would recommend you rework your logic so that you don't send a 30 MB of data in a single shipment.  That's a lot of have to fire if it fails and this defect, especially on a WiFi connection not, chances are high enough, that I would have thought given the time it will take.

    In addition, the approach you've taken means that you have a buffer of 30 MB, as the transport mechanism to send the file.  You could reduce the memory required by a small segment of both reading and write in the http connection output stream, but that will always force the http connection to have a 30 MB buffer, which may have to be contiguous (depending on how it is implemented).  Normally transmission is not made until you ask the response code, so it will be stamped on the device.
