Wireless EA6900 issue

Hello

I have the following problem with this model when have on 10 Mbps traffic on the wireless:

Wireless SSID is visible, but the router will not forward/accept no matter what package, if I disconnect the wi - fi at the moment, I can't reconnect.

After a few minutes without any intervention from the router comes back fully functional online.

Last frmware running.

Kind regards

Have you experienced this in your other wireless devices? If so, move the unit a few feet off the router, not too close or too far away. Make sure you use a different name for the settings Wireless 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz times. You can also change the channel on your router wireless to avoid interference. Preferred to use channels are 1, 6, 9 and 11, because they are considered as overlapping channels. If this doesn't help, you can reflash the firmware on the router and then reset the router for 30 seconds and reconfigure.

    Hello @adityarai82,

Thank you for visiting the Forums from the HP Support! The forums are a great place where you can find solutions for your problems, with the help of the community!

I read your post about the WiFi problem and wanted to help you!  I understand that you have tried the troubleshooting steps a lot already, without success.

Try to review these steps, offered by community member @Great-Christine-Tree:

First of all, we have a step by step guide to guide you through the process of diagnosis here:
Troubleshooting your wireless network and Internet access

A second option is to try the following steps:
    Powercycle the network:
    1. turn off your laptop.
    2. unplug the power to your router.
    3. disconnect the power to your modem.
    4. wait at least 45 seconds.
5 reconnect the modem and wait for it to come back online.
6 plug in the router and wait for it to come back online.
    7. turn on your laptop and test your connection.

Turn off the power to the adapter:
    1. open Device Manager. (Win Key + R > type devmgmt.msc > OK)
    2. expand the network adapters.
    3. right click on the Ethernet adapter / wireless, and then click Properties.
    4. click on the power management tab.
5 remove the check mark next to allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
    6. click on OK.
    7 test cycle.

Reset the TCP/IP settings on your PC:
    1. go to your start screen/menu and type CMD.
    2. right-click on the command prompt icon and select run as administrator.
    3. in the window that opens type "netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt" without the quotes and press ENTER.
4 restart your PC and test.

It can also help to reset the winsock catalog:
    1. go to your start screen/menu and type CMD.
    2. right-click on the command prompt icon and select run as administrator.
    3. in the window that opens type "netsh winsock reset" without the quotes, and then press ENTER.
4 restart your PC and test.

    Reinstall the NIC drivers:
    1. download the drivers from here , but do not run them again.
    2. go to your Start menu/screen and type Device Manager.
    3. expand network adapters.
    4. right click on the wireless adapter and choose uninstall.
5 install the drivers downloaded in step 1.
    6. restart your PC and test.

    Test an ethernet connection:
Explicit. Test if the problem persists on a wired connection to the adapter hardware troubleshooting wireless can be directed to the appropriate areas.

    Test another connection:
Many people excluded their home network as a problem if another device working on the same network. Networking is not as simple as that. Each device interacts differently with your router or modem and it is impossible to exclude the settings for this device until the laptop has been tested on another network.

If these steps do not resolve the problem, try this document published by Microsoft for network management issues: wired and wireless network problems. You can change the operating system with the drop-down list in the upper right of the document.

  • ENVY of HP dv7 - 7243cl wireless adapter issues

    Hi all

I have recently purchase a refurbished HP ENVY dv7-7243 CL overall I am satisfied with the product with the exception of a massive show. I have serious problems with the edge of network card range. I'm holding the phone right next to the router and I get only 3 of the 5 bars. It is not a router problem as I have several other devices that connect perfectly across the House. Any help at all is greatly appreciated.

EDIT: I uninstalled and then reinstalled the driver, nothing helps.

Had the same problem and support has me remove the cover back, then reconnect the wireless antennas.  Went well after that.  Suggest that you call the assistance for this info on how to do it properly.  I'm sure you will agree that it's a quality issue with a new machine.

  • On Satellite L750/0 wireless connectivity issues s 5

    I own a laptop L750/0 s 5.

I seem to have a problem with my wireless connection, where anywhere not at 10 m from the router the connection cuts in and out with the yellow sign 'limited connectivity' always appears. disconnect and reconnect solves the problem for a few minutes. Ive resorted to the close session of the router.

the computer is 2 months old, the Wlan driver is up-to-date. power options have been configured to be on maximum performance for Wlan etc etc.

The main thing that annoys me, it's all the others (much older laptops) in our House very much work where mine doesn't. I actually lost performance from where I can get my old toshiba portege m300 to this new wireless signals.

In terms of information, the computer is running windows 7. Wireless network card is Atheros AR9002WB-1NG.

If theres any other information that you need, as im sure there will be, I would like to know and ill try my best.

    The router is really new.

    Thanks for your help

    > the computer is 2 months old, the Wlan driver is up-to-date. power options have been configured to be on maximum performance for Wlan etc etc.

The latest Wlan drivers can be found here:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/?page=downloads

Please keep in mind that you use the latest driver v9.2.0.419.0

To be honest, I had the same idea to disable the power save for Wlan and it more often it should work are you sure that you have changed this in the same power station that is used when the laptop is running on battery power?

However, it would be interesting to know if the Satellite L750 uses the same Wlan 802.11 standard, as do other portable
In the Device Manager-> properties-> Advanced tab Wlan card, you can choose the standard Wlan 802.11

  • AO725-0687: wireless card issue

I went on the wireless card OEM and installed a card Intel Centrino Ultimate N-6300.  The problem I have but comes to find the third antenna wire.  The motherboard has only two antennas, and for the life of me, I can't find a schematic material of this machine to see if there is a supplement.  Does anyone know if there is a third antenna on the machine to use the best maps?

    Nice day

The machine can take only 2 cables wireless only. You cannot add a third. However, we must keep in mind that the wireless card connects to the motherboard, and wireless cables pass card wireless to the LCD between the LCD and the hood top lcd. It will make sense for me to get all the cables wireless provider that provides the wireless card and install it.

    Kind regards

  • AZ1620-EW30P: wireless card issue

I have an AZ1620-EW30P I understand has an installed Itel 802.11b/g/n wireless card. Can I access this card through a usb port to a wirelss increased connectivity? I would also like to know how I can add another monitor, since there is no external VGA port.

[title change to reflect the correct system]

It is perfectly acceptable for Windows to have several cards WiFi or LAN.  It is not a problem.

  • TouchSmart 420 wireless network issue

I bought this system with Premium network interface because I was told of his two-channel.

I can connect to my router to 802.11n and 130Mbs but I don't see the possibility of channel Bonding to take advantage of the second string

    http://compnetworking.about.com/od/wireless/f/80211n-300-Mbps.htm

    Here are my questions

    (1) is it possible with the current driver to take advantage of the second string (300Mbps)? If so, how?

    (2) is the wireless one adapter card in one of the PCI slots or is it integrated?

Devil 3. Where are these PCI slots anyway? I can't see them not marked on the diagram of the motherboard and that you do not want to disassemble my system to find out immediately.

    (2) If an external sound card then what the external model of the card number wireless in my system? Room not the HP. I know it's a Broadcom.

I have spent hours online with HP support and so far can't anyone in their chain of support who really knows what that something else on the networks so that tell them their response cards.

OK, the solution, or at least an explanation.

To find the card wireless in the expansion slot, you will need to remove the metal shield on the top of the motherboard.

Once you do this, you can see 2 expansion slots mini which is the wireless network card

The card I have is BCM943225HMB

    http://www.Broadcom.com/products/wireless-LAN/802.11-wireless-LAN-solutions/BCM943225HMB

    Single-band 802.11n and Bluetooth 3.0 half minicards

802.11n 2 x 2 offers maximum performance of WLAN in the 2.4 GHz band

The long of it is so this system doesn't come with a dual-band wireless network card as told me by buying the upgrade instead, it is delivered with 2 x 2 as the documentation said.

For those of you who want to know what it means actually the 2 x 2

    http://www.NetworkWorld.com/newsletters/2008/050508wireless1.html

While its disappointing that I will not be able to achieve 300Mbps I can get a respectable 130Mbps using an 802.11n router and this card.

  • Wireless password issues (ahhhhhhhhh - please help)

I have a router Wireless G Linksys (WRT54GS). For some reason any (even if I set the admin passowrd and I have a password on my system it always disappears. I notice that it is open to all and there is no change... I don't know why this is happening. But now, I'm again changing my admin and the usual password. When I visit: http://192.168.1.1/ and I go to the wireless settings to change the password it ishows: WPA Shared Key were I want to enter my password. I'm confused, why does say shared key? I thought she said something like spend cod, or pass phrase. It makes me feel like this is open for everyone? I'm slecting WPA2 Personal and it still happens. Why is this happening? Is this good? I just need my router and the internet. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :-)

My neighbor had a wrt54g and had the same problem. It would configure the security of passwords and after a few days he would lose the settings and go back to an open network. I flashed the latest firmware on it and she always did the same thing. A Google search showed a bunch of users with the same problem. No one has an answer so she was eventually replaced. May be the time to look for an upgrade.

  • Reinstall the wireless adapter issues

I just had to do a recovery on my system last night after serious problems and as such I am back to square 1. I am trying to reinstall my Linksys Wireless-G USB Network Adapter (model # WUSB54G S ver. 2) and unfortunately I lost my CD for it. I downloaded driver for v.2 data and tried to make a facility a couple of times and I can't get the adapter is properly recognized. Even attaching to the cable part of the network display anything. Is there a separate file, I'm only away/can get that is specifically for the adapter, since I don't plan on using the wireless monitor software? Any information on the situation would be greatly appreciated.

Scratch that, figured it out. A letter was missing when I was the driver, fixed selection and now it's all workers

  • Envy 14-3010NR wireless adapter issues, this is a strange...

Hello, I have a 3010NR Envy14 spectrum with Intel Centrino Advanced N6230 wireless adapter. Driver is 15.9.0.5 dated 16/06/13 dated. I've updated the operating system first to W8 and then to W8.1, since I had problems with the wireless, I had to work at some point after the update of the bios F.06, then when I started the other day, wireless.

I have search in the diagnosis of F2 and it says that the adapter is not installed, when I do a test of component... However when I go to Device Manager / network adapters / click on display / hidden devices, this is, when I look in the properties, he said ""currently this hardware device is not connected to the computer"(code45)". "" To solve this problem reconnect you this hardware device to the computer.

I also have the same problem with the wireless button on the keyboard that I see a lot of people, when I press on it now it switches airplane mode on and outside, where it is used to turn the WiFi on and off... It's always a white light, the orange light that lights up when wi/fi was off is now gone...

Notice to fans, it's really weird... Thanks in advance

    Hey jagnewr,

Thank you for all the information in your message. For the error code that you get in the Device Manager, it means that the device is connected is no longer http://bit.ly/18I67As.

I've included the manual 'Guide to Service and Maintenance HP ENVY14 SPECTRUM'. Please open page 52 and follow the steps to remove the WLAN module. Remove and reset the module.

If you are still not able to connect, and the error code 45 is still present it most likely that the wireless card no longer works.

    Good luck!

  • Acer aspire V5-552 wireless internet issues

Hello, I have an Acer Aspire V5-552 portable it recently does not connect to internet in my apartment, the convenience store said that there is something wrong with the router, but all other legacy with her work. When the internet cable is plugged in it works, but there are a few problems with the radio. The wireless laptop connects perfectly well when I'm in uni, but not connecting not in my house, and if it connects and I move to another room or leave the laptop for 5 minutes it disconnects and connects any, also if I click on forget network and go to the password again once he says he does not or is it erroneous.

Would really like to advice to fix, because it was causing me a bit of stress thanks :)

This new information suggests that there may be a problem with the security setting in the router flat.

Do you know how to get into the router to reset the password?   Assuming that the router itself is secure with a user id and password, you will need to know that.  I can't help you with how to reset because these instructions are different for different routers.  You may be able to get help by contacting the manufacturer of the router service.
