  It works very well.  Use the screening of high printing quality, but think about what resolution for your graphics card.  In fact if you have higher res images online versions, you can hot link to them from the PDF file.  I used to publish a magazine of the club until a couple of years, and while I've used InDesign, output to PDF format was exactly the same process

  I assume that your document is a good single page?  Photoshop is a clumsy tool for multi-page documents.

• I have a problem with 'url not valid and cannot be loaded' also the site accuweather on my toolbar does not load, all I get is a sying note "connection error". The google homepage, I've always used is empty at the start of firefox.

  Too bad. Entered URL always change the-{} characters (of course). curl left in the string. SystemExec.vi works, returns the string.

  #JOBID # will not be replaced in the URL generated in the query. You must use the concatenation in this case:

  I am new to Dreamweaver. I'm setting up a website and want to link a PNG with a Url. Dreamweaver keeps telling me that url is not in my files. How can I put it there? When I asked to register on my site that Dreamweaver would not allow him to be put into memory. I can list the url, but Dreamweaver asks you a file name.   Yet you defined your site in DW?  Without this critical step 1, DW cannot manage links & assets for you.  Site > new Site.  See screenshot.

  

  Your graphic editor (Photoshop or Fireworks), save the Image for the Web as jpg, png or gif file YourSiteName .  As mytaxsite said, you can create a subfolder for your images, but this is not mandatory.

  Back to DW.  Open your HTML page.  In the Insert panel > commune > click on the Image.

  Navigate to the image file and click OK.

  Save your page with Ctrl + S & Preview in browsers.

  Back again with a strange problem. I created several new robohelp Ko this year, but it behaves strangely.

  I always use the good old v7 of Robohelp HTML. When I view my Web page, I have to add the project_name.htm # to see the home page. Never seen this one before! But I don't know that I did something stupid.

  You have unfortunately fallen into a bit of a trap, and you confuse the start page of WebHelp with the default theme.

  When you want to open WebHelp, you head to the start page of WebHelp. This is the page that is usually named Index.htm and it is listed in the general section of your single Source available properties, as shown below:

  

  When that page loads, it triggers a cascade of events. The last event that happens is that the default theme is loaded in the topic pane and presented to the user. The default theme is set up in a different area of this same dialog box. I think so. I have more RoboHelp 7 to watch. My screens are 10 of RoboHelp. So you can see that on the first of several screens of the same dialog box. Normally, you need to click a button and navigate to the file that you want to designate as the default theme.

  Essentially, you named your default subject to what you really wanted for the Start Page of WebHelp to be named.

• Creation of IDCS6 Mac interactive button with URL

  I was asked to write a series of scripts that will automate the construction of interactive objects such as buttons that activate then a web page or an email address.  I looked at the object model and the button object has a property called gotoURLBehaviors which, if you look at a button that is already created, contains the web address of any web page, the button is shown.  The button works.

  However, if I try to write in this list by using the add method ESTK tells me that this property is read-only.

  How can the use of Javascript, I get my URL associated with the button that I create?

• Need help with URLS (Mamp/Dreamweaver/Apple, Lion)

  I'm in the middle of a major update - Apple Leopard > Lion and MAMP 1.x to 2.0.5. I also installed CS3, with Dreamweaver, on my new laptop.

  In any case, everything seems to fall into place, with the exception of a major hitch - I can't view my web pages in a browser.

  On my old laptop, I put it in place so that I can see each of my sites to a simple URL, like this: http://SL . My sites are stored in a folder called Sites top-level.

  I used the settings from my old computer as a guide in setting up a site in Dreamweaver and MAMP/Hosts on my new laptop, but I can't display a page at http://SL . http://localhost/SL et http://localhost do not work, either, considering that http://localhost: 8888 invites you to a "Forbidden" message.

  However, I can access phpMyAdmin at http://localhost: 8888/phpMyAdmin /? lang = en-iso-8859-1 & language = English

  When I've been setting up the site in Dreamweaver, I got the following error message:

  In MAMP Pro does not allow configuration for Apache/MySQL port 80/3306 then virtual host configuration tab hosts MAMP if extending virtual hosts, MAMP Pro only does this. Using MAMP or MAMP Pro?

• Problem with URLS in InDesign to PDF

  I have two links in my InDesign document.

  When I output to an interactive PDF and open in Adobe Reader, the link is there, but I get a message that "Acrobat does not connect to [URL].

  I have a clickable link in the document, then I right click on it and in the interactive "Add URL" box do I've done several times, so I am confident that the URL is correct. one of them is my own Web site.

  What I am doing wrong?

  Certainly somewhat ironic!  However it still does not seem good, you say that Acrobat lets connect you to any URL but the drive does not work?  If Acrobat doesn't prove what you do in Indesign to create the link are OK and this is a problem with the drive.  If you can post a link to your file and someone else can check it out, it might not only your player.  BTW, you should be able to check the same security setting preference in Reader as well.

• Web Service - Call with URL and SOAP in return?

  Is it possible to call a WebService for Coldfusion with a URL like http://site/component.CFC?method=doSomething & parm = 1 and send the response returned as SOAP? Seems that I get a response from wddx when I do it this way. I know that I can create a web service object and call from Coldfusion, which is really nice because we can use the SOAP response as a query object. Is it possible to do this "invocation" from a http call?

  I used this approach for interacting with SWC to an Ajax call on the client, return JSON or XML of the CFC, but don't think that this approach would be ideal to return a SOAP response.

  Technically, you can use this method to return a SOAP response, however, this means that your method of CFCS should generate and return the XML SOAP itself. CF automatically will do that for you as it does when you call a CFC as a Web Service.

  You can call a web service to CFHTTP, but I think it's a lot more work than using CFINVOKE. There is a post of nice blog on this approach:
