• [CS5.5] how to import a code snippet in the current page

  Hi all

  I got IDOMElement of the document UIDRef and imported to the code snippet. Here's the code-

   InterfacePtr<IDOMElement> documentElement(docRef, UseDefaultIID());
  
   if (documentElement == NULL)
      break; 
  
   if ((status = Utils<ISnippetImport>()->ImportFromStream(tStream, documentElement)) == kSuccess)

  ( tStream is the IPMStream of the code snippet that I'm importing)

  This code above is able to import the extract with success on the first page of the active document, but I can't be imported into current page instead. So to do this, I tried to get IDOMElement of UIDRef of the current page instead (logically, I thought this will import the excerpt of the current page).

   InterfacePtr<IDOMElement> documentElement(currentPageUIDRef, UseDefaultIID());

  But the result is still - the documentElement is not null, but the code snippet is imported to the first page only.

  Maybe the concept of IDOMElement is not clear to me, but I find that no documentation in the SDK Guide too. Can someone explain to me what is an IDOMElement and how to import a snippet of the current page?

  have you tried the IDOMElement of the propagation or layer? You can't place items on a page.

• How to post jsp code snippets without losing the bet in shape

  Please forgive me for this stupid question and do not know if this is the right place. But I'm having a hard time sticking the jsp code snippets when I answer all the sections. The jsp code snippet will be all html tags with ' < ' and ' / > ' etc. I tried to replace by & lt; etc but still no help. I see that other users are able to view the jsp code correctly snippets. Is there something special I need to do. I use both FF and IE browser. I use

  ...tag also. Still no help. Also I am not able to paste any Graphic images. How can we do this. Any help highly appreciated.

  More-than and less - that signs are deleted by the forum software. From:

  but from my experience, sometimes they appear and sometimes they are not. I have yet to understand the model. The FAQ says. = can be used instead of a more - and less - than, but I never got it to work.

  You cannot paste images in, but you can use exclamation points at the ends of a full URL to put in an image tag, for example:

  The 'Preview' in the editor mode is the best way I have found to see what forums software will make your formatting, so that you can play with formatting before posting.

• How to transfer the code snippets in Dreamweaver?

  I've been out of the loop for a while and I'm unable to do some of the most basic things.

  For example, I downloaded a few PHP snippets, but I do not see how to transfer to Dreamweaver to include these in my own pages?

  Copy / paste do not seem to work.

  How you go about it?

  If you copy the code and paste it into your source view, it should work without a doubt. PHP pages need to have the .php suffix rememeber, and they work locally if you have a set test server in place locally.

  About using the window of code snippets (if you plan to reuse the code often)...

  Paste the code into a blank html page and then highlight it and click the button in the window of code snippets to add it as an excerpt.

  From here out, you just click where you want the code to go on a page and double-click the code snippet in the code snippet window.

  Or are you talking about something else?

• There are a lot of Add-ons for firefox. Could you add the use of memory and the size of the code snippet. To download a &amp; search for mem usage... bad.

  Looking through the massive amounts of Add-ons is a bit annoying. I always want to know how big the app is and how a memory trail I will get. I now have to download the application for size and then the search engine application to see if it is a heavy memory drag. Today, I tried a screenshot of Firefox Add-on. The first was 2.4 mb the second was 414 KB, it's a big difference. Then after searching memory, I found problems.

• Code Snippets/Query Builder

  In CF Report Builder 10... to say that I'm doing my first page in the "builder" and it is a cover page. Contains a header, a footer, a bunch of labels and a .gif image.

  Now I would like to test this, would use the code snippet and I use a cfoutput to view the page? Or can I use code of CF at the exit of the cover page for my http://127.0.0.1/CFIDE/mes/test1.cfm in the "builder"?

  The color scheme (on screen) of the HTML components is not the same in different parts of this file... Is this normal... or is it a mistake?

  Looks like there is probably an error in your markup somewhere. Snippets of html code must be the same color except that you generate a script to mail electronic html or maybe a message of the form.

  If there is an error in the supplement of php, it would be unusual for the page to show anything it either - look so the html code.

  EDITED.

  In FACT if you are echoing of html with php elements that might be a different color, usually red in DW, identical to the php code.

• Help! My flash code snippets are missing.

  Hi, I recently loaded premium design cs5 on my mac and found a problem with the flash action code snippets. The window of excerpts is there but there is nothing in it, not even file options. She is just completely empty. Anybody any idea what could be the cause? Without it, I can manage, but it's like I'm missing out on something that would make my life a lot easier.

  When I insert one gets in the middle of the paragraph, the code snippet is automatically displayed on the expected paragraph. This is the default behavior? If I can insert the code snippet in the paragraph. I tried to modify the code without success.

  The extracts are at the level of the blocks only in this version. You cannot insert into a paragraph.

  Is this a bug or a feature?

  It is a Windows security. A lower priority process (Windows desktop) is not allowed to send messages (here to drag and drop messages) to a high process, because that can be used to inject malicious code into a high process. LabVIEW could theoretically call ChangeWindowMessageFilterEx() on all windows diagram to allow drag and drop of messages sent from the lower priority process, but this function must be called on all windows and for all messages that need to be let go and get a real problem and of course open up your process to malicious attacks.

• Bluetooth device paired without code OK - BUT when you want to use it, I'm wondering for a pairing code

  I have a Bluetooth device that cannot get a pairing code. I carefully checked the three options of bluetooth connection and the 3rd works, i.e. one that allows the pair without using code.

  So I pair without code - and Windows 7 allows me to do.
  BUT when I run the program that connects to the device, I get a pop up Bluetooth asking me a code!
  It is completely buggy and, moreover, I am not allowed to take control - I know exactly what device I want to use, I see in Bluetooth devices, but for "reasons of security MS" I'm not allowed to use it!

  If you want to avoid using drag-to-select your operating system function to select blocks of code starting and ending with a specific tag, you can do the following...

  1. click anywhere in the code in the tag/block to copy
  2. click on the button select the Parent tag in the toolbar display of Code on the left side of the display window of the Code (the icon with a pointer arrow inside sharp brackets)
  3. press Ctrl + C

  Repeated by clicking on the button will continue select parent tag higher following.

  Whenever I have create a personal code snippet, it is not saved between sessions of JDeveloper. This work is designed? If so, is there a way to have the excerpts recorded permanently? I tried to find a framework to persist saved snippets between sessions, but couldn't find anything.

  Steps to reproduce:

  (1) open the component palette and expand the Code snippets section.

  (2) open a file containing code in the editor and make slide a few lines of code to the box under the heading of Code snippets.

  (3) in the window new Code snippet that appears, enter a name, Image, and verify that the code you want to save this what a snippet is displayed in the section of Code. Press OK to close the window.

  (4) check your registered snippet appears under the heading of Code snippets.

  (5) output JDeveloper.

  (6) reopen JDeveloper.

  (7) open the component palette and expand the Code snippets section. The extract of saved disappeared.

  You must file an SR with this, or make an entry in the tool that you use internally for bug tracking.

  You can download LR 4.4.1 including the latest update here:

  Uninstall the current version of LR, you have it installed, download LR 4.4.1 installer and install it. I don't know what causes your problem with the update, but that a full installer for 4.4.1 can operate without any problems.

  I'm trying to insert an excerpt (I tried adding new and using existing ones) in a subject.

  The code snippet displays in the Editor pane and also in the output pdf control and in the subject preview pane.

  However when I opened the HTML directly from windows Explorer, the code snippet does not appear. One of my outings use these html files and I'm eager to make the most of the functionality of the code snippet.

  Any tips?

  When you insert a snippet, which you're really insert is a code in the HTML code that looks like this:

  

  This code will have to be dealt with during the build process to insert the actual information extracted.

  RoboHelp is not similar to other editors HTML in that you simply edit can be used immediately. Working with RoboHelp projects is similar to the use of ingredients to prepare a dish. You will need to cook the dough biscuits to have cookies!
