Without warning, my screen zoom factor changes.

It's totally weird. On enamel, it tends to spend the zoom factor, spontaneously while on a screen of browser like this, or in Excel or Word, it will suddenly start to decrease, until it reaches 22% or more - may be even smaller. The only thing I did recently was put my computer in 'standby' an hour (which in my opinion, he doesn't last night). This weird evolution has happened once before, a year or more, and I don't remember what I did (if any) to heal. Already, during the typing of this, he suddenly left under the zoom 150% to 23% without warning, in steps. Here, I was able to restore manually, using the zoom in the bottom right of the screen. Other programs (such as Windows Live Mail) are not so ideally equipped, however. Help, please!

Hello James,.

It is the book of tips! Try this Microsoft Fix It and see if it helps: http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Windows_Display_Quality_Diagnostics/ .  In addition, would be to update / reload your video driver.

  1. What is the brand and model of your computer? Is this a desktop or a laptop?
  2. What version and the depth of Bit of Windows it runs?  Tip: go to control panel, select system, info is available in the first box of information.
  3. What graphics card you have (brand and model specific please)?
  4. Which driver you have (name and version specific number please)?
  5. What display / monitor you has what resolution?
  6. Go to control panel, select Device Manager and see if there is a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in one of the tabs. If Yes, where is it and what does say?
  7. Y at - it any other details that I need to know?

If you can answer these questions, I will continue to guide you.

Kind regards

Have you noticed a temperature higher while gaming?
I guess that the laptop automatically stops due to the higher internal temperature.
This is nothing unusual if the temperature is too high... the laptop would shut down to prevent the equipment from damage...

    Try this:
Go to advanced windows power options and reduce the max CPU performance at 90-95%
In addition to change the cooling method for: performance.

I would also recommend to check if fans and the vents are not clogged with dust...

I'm not sure where you live but in my country, the temperature is currently very high and I guess it's really hard to cool the internal parts and to maintain the temperature of the low laptop

  • a kind of automatic update suddenly without warning started to close all the documents I was working on, rebooted and lost all the changes I had made in the past three hours

I've worked hard for three hours in the middle of the night, made extremely dfficult work on several Word documents and Excel spreadsheets. at the same time - the kind of work that you can do if you're sure not not to be interrupted. All of a sudden a few (probably Windows) update began to close the files one by one, "don't turn off your computer" was the message.
I waited. It restarts, but then I realized all of work my three hours had disappeared. The files are still there, but in their unchanged form. How is it you lose nothing if your battery runs out and you can restore the files, that you deliberately deleted, and there is a permanent record of each tiny websearch? However, Windows can come in the night and boldly to destroy three hours of irreplaceable forced labor without warning! I won't ever be able to replace it.

Set the automatic update process so that you can control if the updates to download and install.

And, as a general rule, always save files regularly while you work.

  • The screen resolution has changed.

After that I have updated to the latest version of Muse, my screen is enlarged. It looks like the screen resolution has changed. How can I change the resolution of the screen on Muse?

On Windows, 2014.3 Muse now supports 100%, 150% or 200% resolution, according to the scale factor you set in Control Panel. My guess is that you have your control panel set at about 125 per cent and Muse chose the scale factor supported 'closer', which is 150%. We've heard a few users that they would prefer Muse to continue functioning at 100% in this case.

This sounds like the situation you're in?

Now, you need to set the scale factor to your screen to 100% having muse running at 100%, but we are working on a solution in the short term to say the Muse to operate at 100% without changing your scale factor of Panel controls.

  • Text disappears randomly without warning

Met a very important bug today that I need to find a way to move as soon as possible because it is completely prevents me to do any work.

Every time I have change all text - whether it is editing a text layer, or with a new, regardless of the text is only randomly and without warning disappears.  No matter the weather, I change the color, font, size of police or other type parameters.  Sometimes I simply move the mouse in edit mode and the text just disappears.

Made a video of the bug in action.  Virtual keyboard on the screen that you can see that I'm not hitting any keys to make the text disappears.  Today is the first day, I noticed this problem and I have absolutely no idea what is the cause, but it happens 99.9% of the time that I try to change any text.  Latest version of Photoshop, CC, OS X, etc.

    http://f.CL.LY/items/2s3y0d2d1R1c2Y173Q38/Photoshop-bug.mov

Please advise, I really need to get it figured out as soon as I can - as you can imagine it is impossible to do any kind of work without being able to type a single character.

The bug lies in dictation under MacOS code.  We are not ignoring the problem - but we can fix bugs in the Apple operating system code.

  • 6s deletion again, cause emails sent without warning or apparent.

During an attempt to find the errors in the composition of any email, I had important text permanently deleted without my choice and without warning. Happens after that I have 'select all' then 'talk', and while speaking, if I touch any key on the keyboard before his term speaking all the selected text is eraced without leaving a trace. Is it a defect? If this isn't the case, then what is the purpose, and I'm not a first choice? Is it possible to fix this? Thank you

    Hey Bradladley,

I understand that you have questions about editing text in an email on your iPhone. I can delete it for you.

From what you describe, highlighting the text and by entering the letter or number, will erase what is currently highlighted. The idea is to make changes like bold, italic, underline, and even replace highlighted text. This works in the same way as it does on your computer.

Now one thing I want to point out is that you can cancel it if it was an accident. All you need to do is shake the iPhone and you will see a prompt message to cancel the changes that have to occur. Cancellation of the faucet and your text will come back. Check out the link below for more details.

  • Tecra A4 just off without warning

    Hello

I have a Tecra A4 PTA40E when I insist on the system than just, it stops. Does it systematically and without warning however if I just leave the machine on the login screen, it is fine. The problem doesn't seem to be specific to a particular application. It's more a case of if I run too many applications happen.

Someone at - it never had this happen or got any ideas? I'm running the latest drivers and have recently rebuilt with XP and SP2.

These machines contain a stop errors written to the bios when a system error occurs that might give a clue? There is nothing in the event logs.

    Thank you very much

    Hello Huw

On this forum, you can read several descriptions of the same problem and for me, the situation is quite clear: your laptop turns off due to overheating. With the use of the CPU, temperature reached material level critical and mobile turns off everything simply.

It is because of the material. Another way some hardware may be damaged.
It's time to clean your laptop. I don't know if you can do that alone, but the best way is to clean it on professional way.

Its dead as a dodo. My main concern is to get the info off the hard drive.

Any ideas of how I could do this? What could be bad, the motherboard or disk hard drive itself.

    Thank you, Lorraine

    Hello

If it's not nice that your machine was throwing the towel, but after your description, I think it would be worthy to check if the adapter still works.

It should not be the motherboard because sometimes just the AC adapter is giving up. And regarding your files on the disk do HARD just after:

Go to an electronic market, buy an USB-drive HARD-external enclosure for IDE drives with 2.5 form factor "(portable hdd´s) and put your laptop hard drive in this case."
Voila, now you can back up your files on another computer.

If you have any questions, just ask.
