Wizard hardware fault.

When I turn on my computer a "Found New Hardware Wizard" box comes to install "display".

The wizard will search online for install and after a while in install it in "NVIDIA GeForce 6100".  He then asks me to restart my computer for the installation to take effect, but when I do the wizard box appears again.  I tried to install this thing, whatever it is, many times, but it comes back.

Do you know how I can either get rid of it or install it if I need it and do not reappear when I turn on the computer?

Thank you.

Phil

Hi cupsy,

·         Did you the latest changes on the computer?

I suggest that you manually download and install the latest drivers for the graphics card on the computer on the Nvidia site and check if it helps.

  • PCMCIA - Tecra 750CDT hardware fault

    Hello...

I have two laptops Toshiba Tecra 750CDT identical.

A machine will not recognize when PCMCIA cards are inserted, no
reaction to be, no status light on the cards.

On the other machine cards are recorded immediately and work
    perfectly.

When I change the hard drive and the card WiFi of the 'good' machine to the
'bad' machine, bad machine boots normally with apparently everything
still not work correctly, with the exception of no response to the WiFi card, not even a
    clear staus on the map.

Switch to the right machine and everything works perfectly again.

Ive took this to mean that there is a hardware fault in the PCMCIA
    bad machine circuit.

Can someone tell me if there are protection devices, fuses or
whether, on the circuit of PCMCIA for laptop?

    Any suggestions are welcome.

  • Portege Z830-10F - WLAN stops working when USB3.0 port is in use

    Hello

On my Portege Z830-10F wireless stops working when I plug in a device on the USB 3 port. The wireless connection back upwards as soon as I remove the device.

The problem occurs with any device I plug. I tested with disks external usb (usb 2 and usb 3), USB, a receiver wireless mouse and a printer/scanner.

This problem only occurs when something is connected to the USB 3 port. The USB 2 ports on the rear do not have the problem.

Port USB 3 itself works very well.

    Running windows 8 pro:
    * Wireless lan adapter: Qualcomm Atheros AR9200WB-1NG (version 10.0.0.75 driver)
    * USB port 3: Renesas USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller - 0096 (version 6.2.9200.16420 driver)

I see that I ve got the latest drivers installed on the wireless LAN card and the usb host controller 3.

The problem arises as well on windows 7 and windows 8 pro. I used the wizard to upgrade Toshiba upgrade of windows 7 to windows 8.

This problem is present since I got this laptop. I ve already done a reinstall / recovery back to the original with windows configuration 7 but this doesn´t solve the problem.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Is there a way to fix this?

    Thank you!

    Hello

To be honest, it's the first time I read on this issue.
I have no idea how a device attached to the USB 3.0 port could affect the Wlan functionality.

I assume its hardware fault and cela must be verified by a certified maker Toshiba.

  • Windows 10 WiFi and Audio does not not with El Capitan

Ive recently reinstalled windows 10 on my iMac 27 "retina with 3 TB fusion 2015 end stop a disc, the latest version of El Capitan because of a problem with the Wifi and audio work (I thought it was a fault of windows) and after a few days using the new facility did exactly the same thing.

WiFi drivers seem to be installed but it can't find any Wifi network (despite the fact that she found them perfectly before) and the sound doesn't bring any connected audio device. There is no missing drivers shown in Device Manager, I tried the fix this peripheral option in windows and it did nothing.

I tried to re-download the bootcamp drivers by opening the wizard boot camp under OSX and when I click on continue on the first screen, I'm greeted by the error message

The startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition.

The startup disk must be formatted in a single volume in Mac OS extended (journaled) or already partitioned by Boot Camp Assistant to install Windows.

So I can't create a new usb key to install the drivers again, or even delete the partition to try again.

Everyone knows this, and if anyone has found a solution? As I said it's the second time this exact same failure so I think its either a hardware fault or a fault in the bootcamp drivers

Thanks in advance for any help

    1. If you have set to automatic updates of Windows, I suggest that disable you. You found no WHQL compatible Apple standard drivers that cause pain.

I noticed that all my whites in my photos appear yellowish and sometimes yellow in my photos may appear to be white / or with deep shades of yellow. I had attached 2 photos I took of a white wall in my office. 1 was captured by immediate shot in the camera application, while the other was shot after the camera go off focus. Not sure if it is a problem of software with the White Balance automatic camera or a hardware fault. I hope to hear advice from the community!

I have iPhone 7 more on her white balance seems also more hot (more yellow) than the iPhone 6 s more.

  • iPhone 7 lighter after his cracking noise stops

    Hey,.

My iPhone more 7 makes some noises cracks once I stop music, games with sounds or podcasts. I did a hardreboot and normal it recharges. Is a person with the same noises coming out of his iPhone 7 or is it just me?

The sound is out of the speakers of the iPhone. I use headphones for this.

Just play music to 50% or more and press pause to reproduce. It comes to PWC for me.

If someone had the same problem, how to get rid of him? Is it a hardware fault?

I m happy with each helf or suggestions.

To exclude a software problem, set it back to factory settings, without using a backup later, manually configure personal information and synchronize music. Then test it again.

Use iTunes to restore your device to factory settings - Support Apple iOS

If the problem is not resolved, you will need to get the phone repaired.

  • MacBook Pro 15 "retina early 2013 fair freezing and restarting

    Hello

For some time my Macbook was freezing then after about 5 seconds will start. These accidents are more frequent. A message appears when you restart advising a problem has been encountered and had to reboot the machine. Always receive a panic (which the most recent is copied below).

First I thought maybe that's a problem with the graphics card because this model is an extended warranty (https://www.apple.com/uk/support/macbookpro-videoissues/) and went to Apple genius bar to have tested, in, that happened. Without other hardware faults were detected. Apple had the machine for several days and did not say that it crashed a few times during the tests. They said it would indicate a hardware fault with the logic board but could not guarantee that this has been the cause of the fault or if it has been replaced would solve the problem.

They suggested a clean installation of the operating system that they preformed and said that they did not meet other accidents during the test after installation.

However, shortly after getting home and restore my last backup of the problem began to reproduce.

Any advice on what could be the cause of the problem would be appreciated.

  • Snapchat destroys my microphone of iPhone background, several times.

OK, I have this very frustrating problem.

I use a lot snapchat. also with music in the background (via spotify and/or music Apple).

When I snapchat, I'm in places very different noise.

I'm going to the festival with artists a lot, so there is a lot of hard noise, but I use snapchat a lot to quiet places as well.

From one moment to the other, the microphone is killed. It no longer works, is sounds like his breath upward.

Dictaphone does no longer work, so it's a hardware fault.

I tried the software reset, without making backup installed several times.

I swapped the phone like 7 times for new.

Even bought a brand new one, BUT IT CONTINUES to SE!

I feel like I'm the only one with this problem, but I don't let drop the phone or treat it's bad.

It's just that it continues to be, which is so frustrating.

Please someone help, or tell me that they have the same thing?

I'm really lost my confidence in the iPhone through this.

It seems to me like a problem of Snapchat vs a phone number.

I don't know anything about Snapchat. It's pictures you send? Videos? Videos must have audio?

Apart from Snapchat and in a normal environment, your microphone is working correctly? can you do voicer memos or use any other application for registration? Can you do a regular video without audio problems using the camera application?

  • Satellite Pro L50 - B - no display at the start of

    Hello

Problems with getting my L50 - B to initialize display. Everything else is running, but the display won't start at all - I just get a full black screen.

I tried without success to the following:

    (1) connection to an external display to work
2 power failure), remove battery and discharge of power of the laptop before turning on again
    (3) turning off and on again

It's a new laptop (~ 2 months), has been fine until a few days ago. Day 1 of her break, I had to reset hard once, then visualize booted up and laptop was functioning normally. Day 2 of her break, I tried everything above, he finally decided to start random BIOS, so I know that the screen itself is not broken. A few reboots later, it booted up fine and I was able to work on it for the rest of the day with no other problems (I was also able to wake from hibernation and the display came on OK). Day 3 of him breaking (today), I can not work at all.

    Any help appreciated!

    Everything is running

    Does that mean exactly?
How did you know that everything is OK apart from the screen?

You said that you already checked the laptop as part of the external display and external display even shows nothing...
For me, this means that this issue is NOT related to the problem of the internal display, but probably with the other party such as RAM, motherboard or GPU.

However, the laptop is only 2 months old then contact Toshiba ASP also ASAP... the warranty covers hardware problems and from my point of few this issue is causing my hardware fault.
