WLP deploy question

Question of WLP deployment... I am trying to deploy a portal application and get the below error. Any ideas? (This application deploys much of my domain name single server managed)...

weblogic.application.ModuleException: duplicate beans of the same type deployed to two URI: META-INF/communities - config.xml and FCPWorkshop/META-INF/communities-config.xml

(If there is a WLP forum which would be better suited for this question please advise, I couldn't find a)

Thank you

  • Basic of the NAC deployment question

    Hello

Do I have reason to assume that at least 2 devices - a server and Manager must consist of a NAC deployment? or is the manager, an application running on a Windows Server? the Manager can run on the same machine as the server?

My second question concerns Cisco Trust Agent and clean access Agent. CTA has actually managed by CAA? from what I see, CTA was part of the old framework of the NAC until they start using devices.

    Many thanks in advance,

    DOM

Manager and the server can run on both PC or Cisco devices, which are in fact HP ProLiant DL140 G3 or HP ProLiant DL360 G5 PCs ;) You will need two devices in all cases.

Second question - no one knows what will happen with all technology in the future. Is it completely replaced by MS NAP? The framework of the NAC is cancelled? Two Cisco solutions are not perfect. What customers actually need, is to have all the features of the NAC appliance to operate directly on the routers and Cisco switches. No clean access server no need in this case, only managing! And the OOB mode which is difficult to set up, support and troubleshoot will disappeared. The NAC framework is executed directly on Cisco devices, but it's not feature-REACH as NAC Appliance.

  • AIA deployment Questions and answers

Question It is recommended to have a Deployment Plan unique for all composites or one each for applicant, ABC, ABC supplier, EBS etc.?
Response There is no specific recommendations. If you have implemented your service properly and idependently (see http://blogs.oracle.com/aia/2010/11/aia_11g_best_practices_for_dec.html), you can deploy in an order any and it does not really matter if you have one or more DPs that everything is deployed.

Question Looking at the DP that is generated, looks like they can be created manually, without going through the AIA LCW, generation of Nomenclature etc. I know it is not the approach suggested depending on the flow of AIA, but is there something wrong with that?
Response There is nothing really wrong with artisanal DP except that you lose the overall flow of information from the beginning to end of your development cycle. But in fact, some clients decided to do this way, however.

Question What is the importance of the /oracle/product/Middleware/AIA/aia_instances/my_instance/AIAMetaData/config/AIAConfigurationProperties.xml file? When an interface is migrated from Dev to Test, how to make sure that this file is updated in the Test instance? It's updating manually by running UpdateMetaData.xml? or HELP take care of him?
Response This file is absolutely essential to running under services read certain properties (for example, the real services that are called endpoint) of this file. I guess that your services will fail if you do not have a valid file on your test environment, i.e. a section for each of your services.
And Yes, the AID takes care to maintain. Each service that you created with the constructor for Service must have a file called AIAServiceConfigurationProperies.xml. When executing of AID to deploy such a service, it adjusts first values in this file correspond to the current environment, then merges the content in AIAConfigurationProperties.xml and finally download on MDS.

OK, the forceMerge on the Composite statement introduced 11.1.1.4. In earlier versions, you will need to use the DforceMergeAIAConfigProperties = true when the appellant ant option to achieve the same thing, but which would be a global setting for the session whole ant. I have not tested this option, but perhaps worth a try.

And no, you don't have to replace the tokens manually, HELP will take care of that when it merges the AIAServiceConfigurationProperties.xml.

Your customization to support partitions looks good at a glance.

Please let us know if this and the above works for you.

  • Classic deployment question 10.3.2 blackBerry

I have a unlocked Blackberry Classic SQC100-4. I used it on AT & T GoPhone. Why the 10.3.2 is not available for my unlocked phone?

You seem to think that all is lost? Official methods receive an update in no case are the only methods. Also, we cannot know that if your hypothesis is correct about ATTs controls on the implementation... only they can answer that question, of course. Finally, I feel obliged to provide a slight correction here:

    Val_Dallas wrote:

BlackBerry does not support devices purchased from other online retailers.

This raises different questions. I did the (incorrect) assumption earlier that you had purchased your device from ATT. One of the theories on the OS version control is that the carrier controls... but it's actually a bit generic. Each instrument is initially made for some channels and the carrier... If your device was not originally made for ATT but rather another carrier, then it is possible that it was this another carrier (whatever they may be, we have no way of knowing) who controls the release, even if you run on ATT.

But, it's all theoretical and academic in any case... If the official methods do not provide the update, there is no way to force them to do so. But it remains informal methods... refer:

And, since it is still updated to 10.3.2.2639, you can get this automatic charger here:

So you see, all is not lost! As has always been with BB, skillful users have come up with methods to get around the controls that exist and allow other users get what they want.

    Good luck!

  • OTA deployment question

I wanted to deploy an application on-line via BES (4.1), then I put the cod and alx files on a drive shared, has run the indexer, created the software configuration and it has assigned to the user. Everything went well, except that he has not pushed to the device again - it was over 5 hours since the app has been on the server! So, what could go wrong? How to fix the failures of deployment? Is there a log somewhere I can look at? The app installs fine using javaloader. And cod files are under 60K each.

    I'd appreciate any help!

Thank you, Peter! Unfortunately, I found that the record had been disabled on the server recently - there is nothing to watch!

    However, that's what I did:

1 added "AppProvisioningPollInterval" in the Windows registry and set it to 10 minutes (for testing. I've put 240 after that I did test).

2 restarted BlackBerry Service strategy (from Windows 'Services').

As soon as I did the two things above, I could see some activity! However, the State of the device under software configuration turned to "unsupported device". Then, I downloaded the last Device.xml.

    Problem solved!

    Thank you.

  • Forms of deployment Question?

    Helllo,
I'm trying to deploy a form on the application server. What I need to compile a fresh .fmx on the application server or can I just copy the fmx of the Windows PC to the application server? Please notify.

    Concerning
    IQ

.FMX files are dependend of platform which means that if the target platform is different then your development platform, you need to recompile on your target platform. If the platform is the same, you could take the fmx from a development computer files; It is advisable to recompile them against the database they must run on the applicationserver however.

    see you soon

  • Reversal/deployment question

I created a flash animation simple for a customer who makes a loop 3 times. At the end of each round, I want to add a button that will stop the action of the main movie and reveal a small pop-up for legal copy when the user hovers over it, then re-boot the film once again they roll-off-however, it will only do so when the user interacts with the button, if they do not touch, the film will continue through 3 loops without hindrance.

Side note: I can't use pause and play buttons, it must be a function simple reversal/deployment.

Can someone help me with the script? Any ideas?

If you know how to code deployments bearings using instance names, then you just need to have the code deployment in the main assembly and use play() and stop() controls...

    btnName.onRollOver = function() {}

    Stop();

    }

    btnName.onRollOut = function() {}

    Play();

    }

  • SPA922 DEPLOY QUESTION

New to VoIP techology is moving at a different pace in Australia but I will ask anyway.

One of my clients has a simple WiFi link to a remote office 1 km of the main branch, there is no land line in the remote offices.

A SPA3000 may be connected to the public switched network at the main office and use the link to reach a SPA922 for example, or I am far from the truth.

There is no VSP / / it will only use the customer's existing PSTN headquarters at this stage.

    Thank you.

Thanks for the tips, this will be a pair of SPA3102 back-to-back with handsets of clients is the easiest.

  • Ask deployment questions

I got the installation of vApp and I have things more work but I have two open items that I have not thought out on mine:

-Where can I make changes to the OU in Active Directory where the workspace looks like for users?

-How to workspace me see a ThinApp share?

I searched the user interface and searched the docs to support but have yet to find my answers.  Anyone has any advice for me?

You must use the admin user interface connector for these two tasks.

Please log in to the admin of Connector UI goes to https:///hc/admin /.

    Note the trailing slash.

Then, log on with the password for the admin user.

  • Deploy the portlet jsr168 by jsr168import.jsp question

    Hi, guys

    I have a question.

I want to deploy some 168 portlet on weblogic portal, so I followed the document.

perform after import made, show me the message, it means that successful.then I open a browser tab
    (http://localhost:7001/rssportlet/producer? wsdl)

put the URL of wsdl, it was to show me the contents of wsdl.

but when I create new producer, in the second step, I do not see the portlet, this means no portlets for me.
    (2. producer view Portlets, I do not see my portlet deployed)

    What's wrong with my order.

hope you can help me, thank you very much.

    ARIS

    Hello again,

I have to mention that as a workaround, you can use the import JSR168 tool because there are to WLP 10.3 and do generate but not to deploy the EAR file for you. On the inside of the EAR, you should find a directory of the same name as your original file of WAR with a WEB - INF / subdirectory. You should be able to copy all the files of configuration generated out of this WEB-INF/lib /. Return to the root of the ear (which has a subdirectory of the same name as your original file of the WAR), expand your original file WAR it so that it replaces the WAR directory, then copy the configuration files that you have stored offshore in the WEB - INF directory. Finally, jar to the top of the EAR file again and it should be ready to deploy.

  • [JDev12.1.2, ADF, GlassFish 4] A few questions on the tutorial of Shay "Deploy Oracle ADF Essentials Applications to Glassfish"

    Hallo (Shay),

I want to deploy my application Web ADF to GlassFish that is installed on a different server from the development computer.

The application interacts with a MS SQL Server database.

I have some doubts/questions on the tutorial of Shay https://blogs.oracle.com/shay/entry/deploying_oracle_adf_applications_to

So far in the development phase, I deployed the application only to the JDeveloper-itegrated WebLogic Server on the development computer.

    Creating a connection pool

    • I could successfully creates a pool of connections only by copying the sqljdbc4.jar library in the C:\glassfish4\glassfish\libdirectory. Is this OK or should the library remain in C:\glassfish4\glassfish\domains\domain1\lib?
    • Is there a way to hide the password in the additional properties?
    • Is there any setting for the property should do (especially for MS SQL Server)? For example, somewhere I read that the isolation of transactions should be set to read uncommitted... but I did not understand why.
    • What is the difference between types java.sql.DataSource resources and java.sql.XADataSource?

    In JDeveloper application configuration

    • Since the beginning of its development, the local configuration of the application Module has the name of data source (JDBC data source) set to java: comp/env/jdbc/MyDatabase_DB_SQLServerDS. If I change this field value to jdbc / < name_of_jdbc_resource_created_in_GlassFish >, as in the tutorial of Shay, it is not longer possible to run the application in JDeveloper (so using the WebLogic JDeveloper-itegrated server). Why? What's wrong?
    • JDeveloper offers only the choiche GlassFish 3.1 as a platform for the deployment, but I'll use GlassFish 4. Perhaps this cause problems?

Taking care of the libraries used by the application

    • In the project properties, between the libraries and railways class there are a few additional libraries I've used in applications. Here's the JAR files I put in C:\JDeveloper\lib. I copy these libraries on the production server? If Yes, where?

    Other questions

    • What is the difference between putting a library in the lib of GlassFish folder and put it in the folder lib of Domain1?
    • Deployment procedure used by Shay in his tutorial might also be used to deploy the application on a remote production server?
    • Is there a way to manually delploy an application, for example by copying manually under GlassFish project folder?
    • My final goal is as follows. I have a clean Setup that allows me (1) to continue to run the application in JDeveloper on its built-in WLS, (2) to test the application to the GlassFish that I have installed on the computer development and (3) delploy the application on the remote production server. Could help me do that?

These are a lot of questions.

I thank in advance all the users who want to respond and I hope that the answers to these questions will help also others.

    Ciao,.

    Federico

Federico - most of your questions is generic Glassfish questions that do not specifically have anything to do with ADF - I recommend that you post on the forum of Glassfish. (Or read the Glassfish documentation for things like the difference between directories and deployment/admin console).

    >>

    • Since the beginning of its development, the local configuration of the application Module has the name of data source (JDBC data source) parameter tojava:comp / env/jdbc/MyDatabase_DB_SQLServerDS. If I change the value of this field of jdbc /, as in the tutorial of Shay, it is not longer possible to run the application in JDeveloper (so using the WebLogic JDeveloper-itegrated server). Why? What is the problem?

This is because JDeveloper uses an integrated WebLogic when you run and therefor cannot use the data source of Glassfish.

I suggest that make you this change only when you go to deploy on Glassfish.

    >>

    • JDeveloper offers only the choiche GlassFish 3.1 as a platform for the deployment, but I'll use GlassFish 4. Perhaps this cause problems?

We don't know, as the matrix of certification for the ADF will show that we have not tested/certified this combination.

Oracle JDeveloper and ADF 12 c (12.1.3) supported systems

    • In the project properties, between the libraries and railways class there are a few additional libraries I've used in applications. Here's the JAR files that I put inC:\JDeveloper\lib. I copy these libraries on the production server? If Yes, where?

Use the properties of project-> libraries and class path to add the jar or create a library and add it to your project.

Make sure that this library is deployed by default.

    >>

    • Deployment procedure used by Shay in his tutorial can also be used to deploy the application on a remote production server

    Yes

  • Question about the clickable license in the deployment of a package of *.exe

    Hi all

My question concerns how instantiate license clickable when you create a package *.exe?

The JavaFX literature he said that it is possible, and this option is available for installation EXE packages, but they

never give a description of how to use it!

I use Netbeans 7.4 which seems to have most of the options available in the deployment section of the

Dialog box project properties to enable most of the things automatically in my name, but how do I do the foregoing?

Many thanks in advance for your help!

Nevermind, it finally worked still to come at end of this ANT stuff which I'm not too use!

  • View deployment Horizon 6 - Question

Hi guys, I'm deployment view Horizon 6 for laboratory test, I deployed composer and the connection to the server, but I don't know if I need mandatory deploy security view too.

My question is simple, I have install required security?

    Thank you and best regards,

    Israel Martínez Bermejo

    Hello Israel,

It is not mandatory to install a security server, so that the view for work. If you're just doing a lab configuration, it is probably useless. In production, it is a good idea to have security servers, especially if you have users that connect to untrusted networks. If you think you'll ever use for security servers, why not go ahead and create one now for a more complete test?

    Hope that helps,
