WMC Window Media Center in Win7 Home Premium

Bright greetings. I want to install WMC that should have to be factory-installed - but it isn't here. My laptop HP Pavilion dv7 Intel Core i7-2630QM processor 2.0 GHz, 8 GB of ram, 650 GB HD with OS MS Win7 x 64. I followed the instructions on the page support.microsoft.fix - it to uninstall/reinstall Windows Media Center WMC.  It didn't reinstall.  In C: > Program Files > there is not Windows Media Center.  In Control Panel > programs and features > uninstall, change or repair a program, there is no WMC, only complements WMC for Silverlight and Flash.  Please send me a link to download the program WMC for Windows 7 Edition Home Premium.  Thank you have a blessed day.  JJ Date: 11/22/2012

  • Windows 7 Media Center (64-bit Home Premium) - No. Tuner error after each reboot

    Hello

I have a tuner HD Homerun first (network connected) running with the latest firmware, and it works very well in Win7 Media Center for most of the time.

Whenever I restart my computer, I get an error of "No Tuner found" when I try to watch live TV. I have the MC receiver and scheduler services running under the local system account. To resolve this error, I tried many things such as power cycle the tuner HD Homerun first, disconnect/reconnect the tuner of my network router, remove and reinsert the card cable into the tuner, but none of them seem to solve the problem of reliably all the time. While MC gives me this error, the QuickTV utility provided with the tuner can grant and show me the channels.

Is there a permanent solution to this problem without having to resort to all this groping after every restart?

Thanks in advance for any help and advice.

  • How do you get the subtitles to work in Windows Media Center Netflix?

I have Windows 7 64 Home Premium with Windows Media Center for a Home Theater Personal Computer.  I can watch Netflix streaming movies with subtitles using IE8 or IE9 and Silverlight, but may not know how to activate in Windows Media Center.  The always cheerful and almost all means useful Netflix Customer Service says only Microsoft can manage Netflix plugin for Windows Media Center issues.

No support to do this from Microsoft, does anyone know how to do this?

I've read that it could be the Codecs of compression used by Bandicam however until I transferred all my files he was running fine records. • Windows Media Center is not in the list of all programs - Vista Home Premium

Hi, I can't find Windows Media Center on my computer - I have Windows Vista Home Premium.

I try to use my TV on my computer. It has a built-in TV Tuner. But I can't find Media Center.

I know when I got the computer last year - it came with something to activate the TV - but I have no internet at this point - so nothing could be done. Since then, I've upgraded to Service Pack 2. All the documentation said that Media Center should be there. I've looked everywhere and Media Center does not appear to be more!

Can you please help - if I don't now how can I access the Media Center.

    Thanks in advance.

    Julie

Thanks for this, before I saw this, I worked on how to solve this problem.

First, I downloaded the cumulative update for Windows Media Center-still nothing.

Then I peeked my Control Panel/Default Programs/Set Program Access and Computer Defaults.

My settings were now on the custom, and default media player - tick on "Enable access to this program" next to Windows Media Center had been removed! (of course by another media program)-I reticked this box and as if by magic, the program appeared in all programs and was now visible to the rest of the computer. "

This setting should make it invisible to the rest of the computer - he of course does not use if it is checked.

(I also found once I ticked the box next to Windows Media Player (who had also disappeared, even if it was marked as a media player by default) - he also appeared in the all programs list- and he had never been there before!) I know because I had to go and insert my link on the desktop to access it.

All sorted - what a huge relief. Just as it takes.
