  my other post had not been, so I'm writing again.  2 days ago, I bought a new laptop. 4 GB of RAM, 320 GB HD, pentium dual core T4400 processor.  I installed PE7 cleanly, no problem.  However, I can not all videos to show. I imported videos .avi so far and they seem to import, but they only play sound. There was even an icon of the space that looks like a speaker that makes me think that pe7 think that these sound bites.  the strange thing is when I go into the menu open, the videos show in the Preview Panel.  so I know the video part is encoded in their somewhere.

  First of all, it depends on where the AVI and what codec it uses. (You can easily see the codec to open it is an AVI in Windows Media Player and then go to file/properties). Video from cameras, for example, uses MJPEG-reviews, which are not compatible with Premiere Elements.

  Can someone please?  I go crazy - my windows media player will not play anything except the sound on videos (films are so far the problem).  She claims codecs are updated automatically, I'm too scared to download some unknown codec. I WILL RESPECT ALL THE SOLUTIONS YOU HAVE TO OFFER!  From what I can tell, they are my videos (movies) transferred from the cd to the media player.  Videos of "sample" provided pre work ok.  My films all have the extension .avi at the end, that's why I don't understand why they will play only the sound of the film, not the actual Visual part. . AVI should be accompanied by my windows media player.  As I said, I'm pretty decent to deal with such things as a result of working with a lot of "technicians" in recent years; This is why I do not bother anyone here, but I am at a loss for what to do. • How can I move video files in windows Explorer without losing metadata in windows media player?

  I'm under WMP 11 Vista.  I have a folder that contains the files in my video (AVI for example).  I organized videos in WMP by manually changing fields of tag for ratings, artists, genre, etc.  I would like to move some video files around in Explorer Windows (in the same drive that is monitored) to arrange my training and records.  When I do this, WMP loses track of the video file as the path is no longer correct, so I would like to add back to the library to help add to the library.  When I do that, the video appears in its new location, but all the metadata is missing.

  Is it possible to move my AVI files to another directory without losing all the metadata, or are never supposed to video files be moved once their metadata has been published in WMP?  Can I enter the new path to the file in WMP or something and have it keep its metadata?  Or is there a way I can get WMP to store metadata on the AVI files as it does with WMVs?

  It seems that there is something missing if metadata of media management is a core feature of WMP and be able to move files autour is a core feature of Windows Explorer, yet the two are not easily compatible.

  I want to just move my video files without losing the work that I put in the metadata.

  Also, what is the reason have advanced tag editor for music files and video files are not?

  • hover the mouse over the new, & click on new folder
  • right-click on the new folder and choose Rename
  • write your selected folder name
    
  1. Connect your data cable USB & POWER to the camera or insert the memory card
  2. Open the files and Select the files you want to save
  3. Select files butten now the mouse left click and move the mouse over the files
  4. then right click on the selected files and click copy
  5. go to the folder you named and open
  6. right-click and select Paste & that's it!

So I went back to try a pull up the project and got every X / white clips. So now, I rebooted my computer with the video files I removed on the external hard drive and it still shows empty clips.

  I think the upgrade of my HP pavilion with windows vista laptop Windows 7 but missed on the upgrade program. I would like to know if the programs that came pre-installed on my laptop as Cyberlink DVD Suite Deluxe, microsoft Works Manager and recovery would still be there after a clean install or can I download these programs at HP and if so could you give me a link. I would also like to know if I can make the disc bootable recovery for windows 7. I would also like to know how to get the software/programs and drivers for windows 7 for my laptop and the best way to install windows 7 without programs to upgrade windows 7 HP.

  I don't believe that you can. The Recovery Manager which comes with a HP installed W7 is supposed to work with some serious W7 DVD's, not Vista. You can try it, but I don't think it will work. If so, that's fine.

  If you choose not to delete the Vista recovery partition, it will always be there, but the once you have created your recovery DVD of Vista, you no longer have any in any way. Some people have kept and tried to make it active all in W7 and it did not work. This is because it is designed to work with Vista. I got rid of all the baggage of Vista when I did my installation on my HDX.  It provides a clean slate to work from. Vista recovery disk you did is bootable DVD and does not require the present recovery Vista Manager or partition.

  When you read the tutorial that said you that you will create "unallocated space" it erases the hard drive nice and clean so there is no more contradictory left applications for Vista. I deleted the entire disc and left nothing of Vista, including the Vista recovery partition.

  You can use the Windows installation disc as many times as you want. as long as it's on this machine. If you go back to Vista just put the W7 disk in and try again. If you follow this tutorial of Cheryl and my instructions, you shouldn't have any problems. Here's a useful tip. During the installation of W7 you will be asked to enter your product number and activate it online.

  Choose not to: use it as a 30 day trial and when you are satisfied that everything is up and running then you can activate it on your own, as long as it is in this 30 day window.

  Just to point out, you can use the disk on any machine for a 30 day trial. If you have a friend who wants to try W7 you can lend him the disc. They will have no choice, but to use it as a trial because you have the only key to product. The product is on the box plastic and not anywhere on the installation disc. The drive is useless with a legitimate product key.

  After 30 days, Microsoft will lock them out of their computer if they do not enter a key.

  P.S. I don't have the HP Windows 7 Upgrade option. I'll buy Windows 7 in my computer store

  When you buy your drive of W7 make sure and get the upgrade because it is cheaper. It will allow you to perform a new installation you have a Vista OS works.

  The only time where you need to purchase a full version is if you install on a computer with no previous operating system on the hard drive.

  Tip: After loading of the W7 the first driver you want to install is for the video card (NVIDIA I think) you'll find out why.

  This question has been around for three years without any company, address. In a common home theater setup, I have my geforce 650 connected to my TV via HDMI, and my TV is used as a relay to my receiver via an optical connection 5.1.

  Now, if I use my Xbox 360 in exactly the same setup, I can simply force the 360 to output 5.1 despite being inherently stereo TV sound. However, Windows (with the geForce card) only detects the audio setup of your TV EDID and allow only native stereo output.

  The fix to play media using a third-party player (think VLC) to manually select audio output; However, this does not have any other way to get audio, such as games or internet streaming.

  A simple option to choose out of I want advanced would be greatly useful in sound options instead of force to choose only a possibly erroneous detection.

  Every time when I stream video and audio from large multimedia files (about 3-4 GB .mkv) of the iMac (Beamer) on the ATV to the room, I didn't encounter any problem. Buffering is fast (2-4) and there is no delay or other negative experience. Unfortunately, as with all flat TVs, the sound of the TV is poor. Since I have a BOSE sound system, placed around this TV, I like to use it for audio. As I do this is - after the streaming media file (Beamer) iMac to the bedroom aTV - pressing the Center "Select" button during 1 sec on the remote to display the "audio" preferences and select money "Chamber" (AExpress related to the BOSE sound system).   I think I can explain the reason for the problem... but I have little experience with sound problems... so you will need to figure out a work around.

  The nature of wireless networks, it's to manage the stream very well... but they are much less good at the sensitive time of things like multimedia transmission continuously. In fact, if you want to stream multimedia content over wireless, it is preferable to use specialized units... no wifi. I have a 3D projector and home theater system that uses a special wireless link from Epson to the projector... It is amazing that it can handle the required data of 3D projection. It does so by using 60GHz or some these extremely high FREQ... and totally dedicated units... no wifi. In the end, we ran an HDMI cable in the wall... it was largest wireless but not could be started reliably. Wireless is simply not ready for the big time of streaming video high definition even when dedicated.

  Wireless network adapter... It is wifi, can handle only one connection at a time and it time slices between clients. It's also half-duplex, so it can only send or receive... it can't do both at the same time.

  On the other hand, modern interrrupteurs ethernet can stream to multiple devices at the same time. It can also handle send them and receive at the same time... That is to say in full duplex. This is why the networks ethernet much more suitable for media streaming wireless never can be.

  As soon as you try to use double flow... even if it is audio (low bandwidth) and a video (broadband), you will cause huge delays to the video component.   To answer your questions:

  (1) MS media creation tool: Activation in Windows 10 - Windows help offers several options: to upgrade this PC now, create installation media (download the ISO file), create an installation (DVD or USB) media.  Choose the option that suits you - understand that upgrading PC, this option does NOT create an ISO file or installation media.

  (2) lose the built-in recovery.  IF you ask on the resumption of Win8x HP - then Yes.  That no longer works after upgrade Win10.

  (3) retail vs upgrade and recovery: Version does not matter, you will lose HP Win8x recovery without worrying.

  (4) retail key - you get ONLY a touch of detail if you buy a copy at Win10 retail.  The version proposed for the free update does not product keys for activation.  You MUST install a version upgrade on top of an existing installation of Win7/8/8.1 so that it will activate.  If you install directly from media Win10 Upgrade, starting from the media and did an install clean, not only will win 10 then NOT activate, right now, it will NEVER activate.  MS talking about providing an option IN THE FUTURE, to allow people to enter a Win7/8/8.1 existing product key - but this feature is not present today.
