Work online in Windows Live Mail

I clicked on work offline in Windows Live Mail. Now I can't get back online, regardless of how many times I click go online. When I first open Windows Live Mail he asks me if I want to go online. I say yes, and then he asked a second time if I want to go online. Yet once again, I say Yes. I can't always online. FYI, I use Google Chrome as my browser. Julie Philpott

Open Internet Explorer, and then press Alt + F to open the file menu. If work offline is selected, deselect it. If it is not selected, select it, wait a few moments and then deselect. Now check if Windows Live Mail is still offline. If this is the case, repeat the cycle to select/deselect in IE until WLMail Gets the message.

  • WINDOWS LIVE MAIL CONTINUES TO RETURN THE SAME EMAILS AGAIN AND AGAIN TO THE SAME PEOPLE AND ME!

Last night, I sent two emails to two people and noticed that I was getting the same email back to my account in WindowsLive Mail over and over again.

My friend told me that she got the same two emails 200 times! So I closed WindowsMail and I stopped getting emails, then I opened it and he started new flooding my e-mail account.

I closed it down once again and now it's the next day and I need to get that into account since I mail filed into folders for my business. How can I solve this problem? Thank you.

Go to file | Work offline in Windows Live Mail and then go to the Outbox and delete messages in it.  If you still have questions, ask here: www.windowslivehelp.com

  • Windows Live Mail list box shows, but does not open.

My computer was just came back from the repair shop after to have removed and reinstalled Firefox, because of the freezes, virus etc..  Everything works OK except Windows Live Mail, my main e-mail program.  (I can get email through the email of Roadrunner IP, but I prefer Live Mail).  The first message box says: "initialization of RSS feed support failed.  News FEED could not be updated. "When I close this message window, I see my list of incoming emails, but when I click on one, I see the message,"this is a problem when you attempt to open this message.  There was a problem.  Please try again. "If I try to compose an e-mail and click on 'To' to select a recipient, I get the message"Unable to choose the recipients."  If I click on the "Contacts" icon at the top of the window, nothing happens - as if all my email addresses are missing.  Any suggestions?  Thank you.  Laura

  • My windows Live Mail has frozen. Lost contacts, does not work online, can not open messages

While away from home, I used my mobile to get online and download emails. As soon as I saw them, I clicked on 'work offline' in order to read and write the answer without using the 3 G for too long.  Since then, I have not been able to work online so I can't send or receive emails or open the 'old'. Also, my contacts have disappeared.
I tried "System Restore" and repair Windows Live essential.  Neither made any difference.
Can anyone help, please!  It is a disaster.
    Thanks, Ros

    Dear RosMarsden

Even if you have lost any info at the end of Windows Live Mail client on your laptop desktop computer, it can not be lost completely, as the good sign is have you worked offline, data so never synchronized with the real Active Server to web-based Microsoft account. Try as a solution to connect to http://www.outlook.com/ and see if you can see all of your emails and contacts. If you can view online repair and then at the end of your computer is easy, let us know if you can reach your contacts online via the Web page and NOT Windows based on the client software.

  • Windows Live Mail will not 'go online' to check e-mails.

I use Windows Live Mail with Windows 7.  From now on, when I open Windows Live Mail, it shows me offline and won't check my email.  A block appears and says, "you work in offline mode.  You want to go online now? "When I click on 'Yes', this same block keeps popping up and ask me again and again if I want to go online.  When I click on the 'Work offline' box in the lower right corner with the Red 'x', it's not going online that I interrupted the task and sometimes my calendar cannot be updated and will not continue to check emails.  Impossible to check my email.  Help, please!  And is it possible that I can disable the calendar.  The calendar appears to have started the problem thanks!

  • Windows Live Mail is stuck in offline mode. How to go online?

My Windows Live Mail will not be online.  When I click to go online, it remains offline.  This happened after my server was offline for about 4 hours and when he returned, the problem resurfaced.

You can try to check the setting in offline mode of Internet Explorer, which is shared with the system via an API.  Open Internet Explorer, press Alt to display the menu bar, and then make sure that 'Work offline' is not selected at the bottom of the file menu.

  • Windows live mail has stopped working properly. Can view the Inbox but not send e-mail messages. Send a message: problem with page caused either to stop working.

My windows live mail has stopped working correctly: I can view my Inbox but not send emails, because a box appears and indicates a problem with this caused page internet explore to stop working. This seems to be connected to the other problem I have with windows live messenger, who says his side by side configuration is incorrect.

I uninstalled windows live essentials and reinstalled it but still the same result. Have also installed all updates via the windows installer.

I am close to throw the computer because the problem seems irreparable: HELP!
