• Dbms_stats uses all jobs in work queues

  in my 11.2.0.4.1 the database, if run DBMS_STATS to the dictionary, it uses all the work of the work queue.

  The queue of my work is of 1000 (default) and the blocking of the system.

• HP psc 1219 all-in-one will not print. Work queue says "error".

  At first, I was getting "printer offline" error messages when all cable connections were good.

  I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver software on the HP site and now the macbook and printer communicate and the box of the print queue now says 'ready' printer. However, in the column State he only says: "error".

  When looking for the installation on the site of HP software there is no sign of drivers for the 1219, only a few others in the 1200 Series, but I think there all the same files anyway...

  Fixed! Instead of manually install the software on the HP site, I made sure that everything has been uninstalled and printers reset. I then rebooted and did a software update check by clicking on the Apple. The laptop then found the right software itself and it works fine.

  To establish this status as closed and you wouldn't see it in the UWQ.

  Go through the following steps to delete 'deleted' printing of the print queue.

  (a) go to control panel

  (b) select system and Maintenance

  (c) select administrative tools

  (d) double click on Services

  (e) in the services list, scroll down until you find one called "print spooler".

  (f) make a right clic on "Print spooler" and "restart".

  (g) "suppression" of work will be lost and all work queued in your queue will print.

  I had inadvertently many photos highlighted when I tried to do other work on my HP 5610 All in office jet printing - we.  When I noticed my mistake I pushed 'Cancel' to stop the 108 pictures of printing on the printer.  When I tried to resume the scheduled print job, I could not delete the work queue... and so the printer does not print.  I read other Q & A sent to see if anything can help, but did not succeed.  A simple answer.  I know that if I let the undesirable impression jopb run there course it would prob. solve the problem... but 108 pages?  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  Matt

  Re. printer stuck in the queue;  I don't have the time to follow through with the instructions sent via the URL, so I left the all-in-one printer without running for about a week.  When I finally had the time, I turned on the printer, ready to carry the Office, spend the afternoon to apply the instructions you kind folks, envoys, when, to my surprise, appeared on my comp. screen instructions guide me through a setup process that fixed the problem.

• I have a print job in the queue and it won't delete. The printer is a Lexmark Pro 200

  I tried to delete the print job, and it won't. I tried to restart and unplug the printer and it still is in the print queue.  I also tried to remove the printer (Lexmark pro 200 series to my computer and it says it can not be removed because the print job is stuck in the queue of ther.)

  1. don't you get an error message when this problem occurs?

  Perform the following methods and check if it helps.

  Method 1:

  Try to restart the print services and check if it helps.

  a. go in Panel.

  b. Select system and Maintenance.

  c. Select Administrative Tools.

  d. double-click on Services.

  e. in the services list, scroll down until you find one called "print spooler".

  f. right click on "print spooler" and "restart".

  g. "suppression" of work will be lost and all work queued in your queue will print.

  Method 2:

  (LSC) Lexmark Solution Center provides assistance and information to your all-in-one printer.

  Open it by following these steps:

  a. Click Start programs Lexmark Solution Center at.
  b. in the all-in-one Center, click on the Maintenance/Troubleshooting tab and then click a topic.
  c. Select Troubleshooting for help with printer problems.

• Assist in the planning of the work

  I have an AQ queue processing that data in queue in a queue. Records enter into this queue via a trigger on a table. I have also written a procedure to remove files in bulk using the dbms_aq.dequeue_array.
  My question is about the scheduling of the dequeue process.
  After a dequeue process began execution. I need to check the number of records in the table of the queue. This is to say more than 100 then I would need to start start the same waiting processes running simultaneously with the first dequeue.
  
  The idea is that the number of records in the queue increases, there should be multiple removes records queue.
  
  Is it possible somehow realized using the DBMS_JOB? or y at - it another way to deal with the cases pending simultaneously if the records in the queue reaches a threshold?

  Yes. A process monitors the queue and sends a job if the queuesize exceeds a set limit. The present work is a "run once" it closes after this treatment.
  These jobs can coexist with your regular job 'every 2 minutes.

  However, the follow-up process must poll the queue periodically. If the vote is very fast, this process can be a task that runs every minute. OR a process running at all times (for example something that starts at the start of the database instance) who uses his own 'sleep' (timer lock PLSQL dbms_lock.sleep) ' only seconds between each query query on the queue.

  See the discussion in work queue stops processing when submitted more then 2 * 16 jobs (65536) where a similar idea is used (except that he will eventually submit too many jobs!-please ensure that you have "foam" or well set the granularity of a job).

  I ran a job using a command like this:
  
  DBMS_JOB. Submit (l_job, 'procedure_name;', sysdate, 'NULL');
  
  Now the interval is null... The work should not have run again after this particular job to be killed... We have killed this work & killed session and removed the work queue.
  
  Still, we found that this work ran after a while... How it would have happened...
  can someone pls advise...

  As an option. You can have a maximum of a single element of the queue in the configuration of your server. If you have nothing in the queue, the default value, 1000, will remain in force.

  The queue item to specify the maximum number of jobs that can be held in each of the queues of reports. Reporting Services OracleAS components three of the queue:

  a queue of scheduled tasks

  a work in progress queue

  a queue of tasks completed

  The queue item provides the value allowed for each of these components.

  This element applies only to the work queue. Thus, if the number of jobs is greater than the specified maximum value, this work queue automatically purge his older works. Planned work queue, and the queue of work in progress are not affected. By default the reports server queue size is 1000 jobs.

  If you increase the size of the queue at more than 3000 and use reports (rwrqm.exe) queue manager to monitor the queue, the queue manager may fail. When a queue of 3000 or higher is necessary, use Oracle Enterprise Manager 10 g or reports Servlet (rwservlet) to manage and monitor the queue of jobs to report server.

• My hp LaserJet 1022nw fails to analyze the download of the printer driver after that macOS Sierra upgraded.

  After switching to macOS Sierra, my printer (hp LaserJet 1022nw) WiFi does not print work orders, even if the printer seems to be to receive the order of work and how to complete it in the work queue.  Connect the printer to my MacBook Pro via USB, I am able to print without problem.  Other computers on the network continue to be able to print wireless.  When I connect via USB and try to scan a updated driver, download cause analysis a software fault message.  Any ideas on how I could proceed to continue to connect and use my printer wireless with the new OS?  The 1022nw is detectable as a printer available (wi - fi) and can normally be added to the list of printers, but doesn't have the print queue even thought that they seem to have been dealt with, and then disappear from the queue.

  Open System Preferences > Printers and Scanners and select the print tab.

  Then the right or control click on the printer on the left then click: reset the printing system

  I have a T790 that shows shows an expired HP 72 Magenta cartridge.  40ml of ink remaining in the cartridge a.  The printer worked intermittently after he extinguished/turned on, print diagnostic impressions and other seemingly random measures, however, there seems to be noting I can do to print on Windows 10 device at this time.  I have the latest firmware and the printer driver and the printer will reprint items in the work queue.  I can't find instructions on the printer, in the user manual, or the ink cartridge expiration on the computer screen message that tell me how to replace even if this page (http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01764161) says it is possible for the T790.  Can someone help me?

  I sent a file from a PC to my Macbook using Hello. I do not see the files in the print queue or anywhere else, but now I get pages virgins churning of my laser printer.

  I can't print from the Mac in the form of files what if producing blank pages prevents all other files sent to the printer
  If I can find where the print files are sent, I hope that, by removing the file/s, the problem can be solved.

  I restarted the printer, the Mac and the PC and also deleted Hello.

  Hoping someone can shed some light on this problem

  You should see the work queued here. If that does not work either and you don't have that one printer the fastest way is to reset the printing system

• Thread.ExternallySuspended method with asychronous vi

  My sequence is launching a state machine in labview to type "launch vi" asynchronous queue stage teststand.  The vi runs for the duration of my sequence, waiting and acting on the message queue, initiated by certain steps teststand that call an "enqueue" labview vi.  I want teststand to pause while the work is done in vi, until the vi ends and waiting for another message from the queue.  From what I understand reading page 3-7 in the teststand reference manual, use it "Testand - Set wire external suspeded.vi" in teststand palette should accomplish this.  After reading this, I think, once there is a string in line waiting is received in the vi, set Thread.ExternallySuspended true and after work in vi, set it to false again to let the sequence to resume.  But the first experimentation, behavior does not conform to this.  The sequence continues anyway regardless of the true Thread.ExternallySuspended setting.  Help file says 'allow TestStand to suspend the thread of execution parent while still running code in the code module'.  The word "allow" implies that I need to do something on the side of teststand also, so he could take a break?  If Yes, what?

  I think you hit the nail on the head, and this looks like something that would work in reality.  I have been to launch around something like this around in my head, but was not quite see where teststand would "listen" to the vi to do, but a message of the extra return of the vi worker queue is the perfect solution.   It would take me just to add a "waiting" after "enqueue" in vi that sends the message to the queue, which is actually a vi attached to a type of step.  While waiting to receive a message from the queue 'fact' return, teststand is actually suspended.  It's great.  This is a final head striker, would have thought this myself.
