• Limiting errors while working with multiple connections

  I am currently evaluating Developer SQL and I'm looking for most of the features that allow connections several clearly distinct to avoid DBA errors when working with multiple connections in parallel.
  Currently, it seems that developer SQL provided these features:
  -Organization of folders in Explorer-> for example, we can create a folder per environment (DEV,...).
  -name of connection-> each user can define his own name. These aliases will appear in the tabs and the title of the main window when opening a connection.
  
  These features ar fairly limited if you compare with a tool like Toad, which used to associate colors with connections (good feature!) or define custom fields. In addition the database user is not displayed in the SQL Developer interface, unless we add in the name of the connection...
  
  Do you know if there are plans to improve these features in future releases of SQL Developer?
  Or, otherwise, it would be possible to quickly develop a plugin that can provide? (especially on the colors of connections)

  I opened the application, and you can add your voice to this. This isn't a feature that we can control, nor is it something that you can expand as it should be expelled from the underlying IDE. We requested a change in the IDE so that we can implement this improvement.

• IMAQ WindDraw does not work with multiple screens

  I am developing an application using drivers IMAQ which displays fullscreen image on a primary or secondary monitor.  It works very well in mode full screen on the main window, but when I put the window on the secondary window, is not up-to-date.  As an additional test, when I put half of the window on the screen 1 and the other half on the other, the part that is on the main display updates is not the case of the part that is on the secondary display.

  How to make it work with the secondary monitor?

  (I've included an example VI to demonstrate the problem).

  I don't know how it happened, but when I completely closed LabVIEW and rebooted, then just run the VI it works now!

  It has been a strange behavior, if I see it again once I'll let you know.

• working with multiple applications...

  I have the main.mxml app that I work with... so I have a request of additional sample.mxml I want to integrate the main.mxml. How this is done?

  Essentially in the shot... I want to be able to access the application of the sample.mxml of the main.mxml application.

  The reason is because I would like to re - use the sample.mxml application without having to re - develop forms that are out there and code and others.

  If you really need the secondary application to have a top-level tag, you will need to compile in a SWF and SWFLoader allows to load in the main application.

  If it can be a component, not an application (tag top-level , , , etc.) and then simply declare the namespace where the file and create an instance of the component in the main application.

  If in the same folder as the main application MXML file:

  xmlns:comp = "" * "where the model can be anything (myComponents, components, etc.)"

  If a "components" sub-folder of the main application MXML file:

  xmlns:comp = "components.*" where the model may be something (myComponents, components, etc.)

  Declare an instance of the component.

  I understand that you are haivng problem with the connection of multiple monitors. I'll be happy to help you with this problem.
   
  (1) have you tried to connect the monitor directly on the CPU and check?
  (2) have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

• vCloud use counter with multiple vCenters 2.3

  We are trying to watch three vCenters with one instance of vCloud meter use (two of them are related to each other and the third is in itself).  However, we can get only stats among the related modes vCenters, despite the fact that all 3 works when I test them.  Has anyone else seen elsewhere?  I just create a unique use for each vCenter count?

  (I'll put the long rant on this product required/free/bad-taken in charge for now, but it's grind my nerves).

  You can download different sites in specific folders under root to the server which can be linked with the same domain. better would be to create several sites and download on the site of the trial BC to check operation.

  Question: What is the right solution for this kind of problem? Two (or more) people should be able to work on an article with their personal account. The only solution I see right now is to create a "designer-"specific account by project folio who share all these people.

  A shared sheet cannot be changed or altered by another user except the owner who created it. This is why your username B and C could not connect with their ID to make changes to the folio created by user A, only user A may make recorded changes with his ID.

  Therefore, if several people to work on the same folio, the solution is to

  1. Share the connection to user A user B & C information

  OR

  1. Or is user B or C create a folio and share credentials with each other OR create a default account for all designers and share credentials among designers
  2. Once completed, folio share the same folio with user a.
  3. User A then create a new folio and copy the contents of the folio shared in the new folio that he create
  4. What user has then publishes the folio because he only has the right to publish

  Does not support photos to merge libraries.

  It would more easily create a library for your book.

  • Export the photos that you want to use in the book of two libraries (select the photos and use file > export > export... versions).  Export photos to a high quality.
  • Import the photos exported in an empty library.  Create your book.
  • Then check in the library with the book project...

  This will have the advantage, that don't accidentally delete you or change the photos you used for your book.

  If you temporarily want to move photos between libraries, you can use the PowerPhotos application.  It allows you to navigate easily several libraries of Photos without having to open them in Photos.

  If you are referring to double or triple boot, i.e., starting from Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8 on the same PC and the drive, then the answer is Yes.

  Please keep in mind that Windows XP must be installed first. This is because Windows XP uses a different bootloader of Windows 7 and Windows 8. A good way to install is in order, for example, Windows XP first, followed by Windows 7 and Windows 8.

  An alternative is to use the Hyper V virtual machine software (provided with Windows 8 Pro and Enterprise of Windows 8) to create virtual machines of all operating systems. Personally, I use VMware Workstation (not free I'm afraid). VMware Workstation I running Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 with Windows 8 as the host and the other as guest operating systems.

• RV220W - rules of access/redirection of port with multiple WAN IP addresses

  I just installed a Cisco RV220W - that works very well for outbound traffic, however for incoming it seems unable to work with multiple WAN IP addresses.

  We have a block of 6 WAN IPs assigned to us by our ISP, and I want to use each of them to expose certain ports on our servers to the outside world.

  I tried to do with rules (by using HTTP, for example) with the following parameters:

  Connection type: Inbound (WAN (Internet) > LAN (local area network))

  Action: Always leave

  Service: HTTP

  Source IP: Unique address

  Start:

  Send to the Server Local (DNAT IP):

  Use other WAN (Internet) IP address: disabled

  Status: Activated

  However, the port of the inaccessible Server/rest.

  I tried:

  • Restart the server with power power off again
  • implement the same port forwarding settings
  • triple-checking all the IP addresses used

  The only way that I have working is by changing the access rule so that it applies to any specific source rather than to another address... but this isn't a solution for us because we need to use specific IP addresses to the internal servers/ports specific.

  The interface of the router admin certainly suggests that this should be possible, but using it seems to break all incoming access!

  Any suggestion is welcome.

  You must use "ANY" as the source IP address, you publish your internal server to the internet and the internet means that the request comes from any source IP address (you don't know what it is, so that's all.

  Basically, you want any source IP to hit one of your WAN IP on port 80, and then your firewall will redirect the request to the internal private IP address of the server on the same port 80. And when the answer comes back internal server, the firewall will already have this translate entry in and reverse NAT won't happen (you must configure it, the default firewall function).
