  I saw that you encounter a problem when you try to add your Scanjet G4010 to your Mac up-to-date 10.9.2. If you have not yet downloaded the installation for the Scanjet, please do it here: HP Scanjet ICA software for Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7, 10.8 or 10.9.

  If that is not always do the trick, follow these 2 steps and add the printer and back scanjet.

  In the print dialog box, you would get options to resize your document.

  Try them and see if that helps.

  Once you choose the print option, it would give options to change the size of the page you need.

  I have 2 computers, a MacPro and a Macbook Pro. Both use OS 10.4.11. The two Macs have Flash 9 for Intel Mac installed as well as Shockwave 10.
  
  Both computers have Safari 3.11; However, my default browser is Firefox. On my MacPro, I'm running Firefox 2.0.0.14, and on my Macbook Pro, I'm on Firefox 3 beta.
  
  Suddenly today while on my MacPro using Firefox 2.0.0.14, I went to a Web site where I just before watching an embedded Youtube video and could no longer see any video, it was replaced by the empty space.
  
  Still with Safari on the MacPro even on the same Web page, I could see the embedded YouTube video.
  
  I thought it was a thing of Firefox, however, what's weird is that on my * Macbook Pro * where I am currently using the beta version of Firefox 3, I'm quite able to see YouTube video on this same Web page.
  
  When I visited the Shockwave test page, it said that I had no Shockwave 11 and so I thought that maybe I should now install Shockwave 11 on my MacPro. I downloaded it. Leave my browser and other applications, and has installed. I restarted my Mac and went to the Shockwave test page which confirmed that I had managed to install Shockwave 11.
  
  That said, I STILL could not * see * any video from YouTube on the same site I had been too early. Yet when I opened Safari and went on the same site, the embedded YouTube video was there.
  
  Yet why did on my Macbook Pro with 10 Shockwave and Flash Player 9, I can see the Youtube embedded video in a beta version of Firefox 3?
  
  Any help would be most appreciated. Last year I went through hell and back trying to solve the problem of Flash Player 9 on an Intel Mac (and fact - under the nickname 'sheewolf' and 'voxpopgirl')). See here

• Looking for a way to kill the "Zombie" emails that can not be deleted

Open it, however, and there is nothing there (even though I knew it was zombie mail when it happened, as it's the second time it happens, the first missing itself after about a month, so he seems to have a predefined expiration date; what he does in the meantime, I don't know).

  Given similar reports seem to turn up here (cannot move or delete messages of mail electronics defective.) for example, I must conclude that there is a kind of dreadfully boring invasive file which is done through the firewall and anti-spam filters, and for the life of me at this point, if I could find the sender , I bloody shoot the * myself.

  Any advice would be appreciated.

  Try right click on the junk mail folder, then choose delete junk e-mail messages.

  You said you tried to rebuild the mailbox. Have you tried to reindex messages?

  Exit the Mail. Navigate to your user library this path:

  ~/Library/Mail/v3/MailData/

  Move all the files starting with envelope Index or ExternalUpdates in the trash, but don't drain.

  Open Mail and let reindex all messages.

  If you tried and it doesn't work, go to this:

  ~/Library/containers/com. Apple.mail

  Exit the Mail. Move the folder integer com.apple.mail to the trash. Open Mail and test. You have to re-create your user settings.
