• Apple rejects DPS unique edition App!

  I recently created a first version of a print magazine of high quality like an iPad version.

  For this, I chose simple editing DPS, convinced that that would be the least risky to get experience with the iPad magazine look and feel of the digital version.

  I bought the license single edition of Adobe to believe it.

  Now my app was rejected as too like magazine!

  First of all, I am always surprised by the grounds for the refusal of Apple. Second, if too magazine as a rejection of the criteria, why Adobe sells unique edition at all?

  If possible add more interactive features offered by DPS as frameworks scrollables, MSO etc. Appeal to the Board of revision of the Apple app and provide them with examples of all similar apps available in the App store if possible. During the call, provide them with wise (Page/Article) examples on the best interactive elements in your application.

  I would like to know what is adobe plan to enable us to maintain our DPS already published applications in the Applestore. I undestand that you plan to support only fixed epub layout (ibookstore) and not the Applestore after may 2015. So, what happens with our applications already developed? What happens with our customers?

  I hope you give us a solution to not be the end of our subscriptions to the creative cloud until may 2015.

  DPS has a feature of sharing Social, which allows users to share articles through Facebook, Twitter, or email by choosing an option from a menu in a DPS application. This feature is only available for Professional publishers and Enterprise, not simple editing. However, you can use overlays Web Content to expose sharing social features to any application. For example, you can display a Twitter account or allow users to type icons that launch social sharing sites.

  your viewers are too old to run successfully on iOS 8.

  Your App was published in November 2013, but iOS8 was released in September 2014, and we have deployed since a series of compatibility fixes.

• How to stop xp lost / forget my password and force me to restart after only one or two days of availability editions home and professional

  Title says it pretty well, but it is on two different AMD multi-core cpu with a list programs installed for the most part identical and quite long.  I hope that it is a problem of xp, someone has already found and fixed even if I don't the have not found in several searches.  Before that everyone assumed that I forgot my password, let me assure you that is not and has not been and will not be the problem; but when (after one day or more available), I'm trying to connect with my correct password, xp persistently asks me if I forgot it and of course, this means I have to restart, with its side effects, in order to refresh the memory of xp apparently and allow me to connect.  For what it's worth, in this case, no matter if I 'disconnect' screen lock or me with the Windows key + combination L or even to pass time until the locking screensaver mechanism is used automatically.  It seems that over the years something in a few key file or registry or RAM or what is get corrupted, but what is the solution?  I don't remember what happens until fairly recently, so can it be caused by something changed by one of the most recent Windows updates?  Another thought that occurs to me would be whether there all known software conflicts have caused something like this?   I don't run a server, but I have still xp does not have to be reloaded every day or almost and prompt me to worry what else may be getting damaged as well as my password.  I've kept ZoneAlarm Extreme Security uptodate and analyzed regularly without viral invasions/epidemics coming to my attention, so I am at a loss to point a finger there, too.  All my other software is widely used, as surely as if she caused this problem, others would have reported such a conflict before now (?).  Oh, and I don't do betas (unless you count an occasional Release Candidate), so I don't have this kind of problems.  I know that's not the most urgent global problem, but it always makes me think for a moment, what happens if he loses or forget my password - so what I'll do if the restart does not resolve, even if only temporarily.  I guess you could consider my reboot of a workaround, but I want to find is something that is more durable than all of this, please.  I understand there is a somewhat similar problem involving mode XP of Windows 7 and apparently it may concern unique aspects of this OS, but maybe there's an analogy?  Also, is there a limit to (or how to limit) the number of times where XP will connect a particular user (or user attempt?)?   If so, I would like to know how and where this can be changed, to see if it helps me everything.  Remember, however, there must be something that will work on Home and Professional Editions, that's why he left me speechless.  Oh yes, I want to emphasize that both of my computers are free standing without any local network operating, etc., just a router to access internet and shared printer.  If there is more information you need from me, just post a reply with what you want and I'll try to get back with her in 24 hours, if possible.

  Method 1:
  I suggest you perform a SFC scan and check.
  To Perform a Scan SFC -

  a. click Start, click programs, on Accessoriesprincipally made, right click guestand then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow

  b. type the following command and press ENTER:

  sfc/scannow

  A message appears indicating that "the system scan will start. Be patient, because the analysis may take some time

  c. If all files require a SFC replace will replace them. Hopefully though you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.

  d. once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.

• Disk size, disk speed and workflow for video editing?

  I want to edit the video in 1080 p/24 drawn up to four Canon DSLR and the multi camera editing. This will be usually social and professional events, so I expect to have total raw images less than 300 GB in size by the event. My current computer (PC of Q6600) can't seem to handle that very well, so I'm going to buy a new computer. In fact, I bought all the parts except for storage because I have not determined what would be the best configuration. I need your help with this please! What is a good an event video production workflow? And what would my setup disk for this computer?

  Here's what I come up with so far.

  First of all, I put the OS and programs on a small SSD. I have a 128 GB crucial MX100 of the old system. Fact!

  Now for the hardest part - the workflow. I think that after I have the video of an event, I want to save them on the computer and save it. I would like to save the raw images, even after I put the final product. So I think I need a lot of extra space. So, I think 2 x 3 TB RAID 1 for this.

  I think that having this as a media drive would slow me during the editing process, so a fast SSD could be good here. Say an 256 GB Crucial or Samsung SSD. I copy media from RAID 1 disk on that drive, so it would be a working copy. Once the project is completed, I delete all media and copy the files from the next project media here.

  When I finished editing the video, I would export it to another drive. I don't think it should be too big, but the sequential write speed should be fast. On my old system, I have a 3 TB external drive (Buffalo Drivestation, USB3.0) that I can use. I also have a blue WD 1 TB I put in RAID 0 if I buy a second. Would this work better?

  I actually use the T1 of Samsung USB 3.0 on my laptop for all my editing, then take most of the time my X 99 to export and making the disc.  As you can see large sequential files, this is two times faster than hard drives and doesn't have any fall speed because it fills up like hard drive.

  We found that your app is before a whole book and that it is therefore not appropriate for the App Store, such as noted in the App Store Review Guidelines.

  Try and add more overlays and add more interactivity to your settings App. Use Scrollable, MSO (such as slide shows). When you return to the app, examples of other applications in the App store with the same level of interactivity. This will contribute to the approval process. Use features which are not available in iBooks and inform apple that you have in your application of the unique features that are not available through ibooks.

• Unique edition DPS Apps crashing into the iOS 8?

  Hi guys,.

  I have just been told by some readers as soon as they have updated to iOS 8, past apps that I published - single editions, no multi-folio for iPad - just crash. They open and crash as soon as you highlight, or plant immediately.

  What is going on? Is this an update that needs to come out of Adobe and is yet to happen?

  You need rebuild your applications and send them back to Apple. We made a change for the Viewer on 19 September to solve problems in unique edition applications that result from iOS8.
