  I am currently working with the unique edition of DPS, and all is well. However, it may be necessary that I turn to professional edition, according to the wishes of the customer. I have a few questions on my mind regarding the workflow and the transfer of Single to Professional Edition:

  (1) how does the transfer of the DPS unique Professional Edition? Can I just order a set level or so online and I can use it instantly? Or is it more complicated and takes a long time?

  (2) currently, in the design of the iPad in Indesign publications, I put the dimensions of the page according to the dimensions of the screen iPad. When I publish to iPad and Android tablets using the professional edition, do I layout the same Indesign files in several dimensions in different pixels depending on the devices? Or the professional edition to somehow "convert" the dimensions automatically (would a dream solution, I know)? The same accounts for iPhone and Android smart phones, do I have to create the same Indesign files for dimensions in pixels very different screen or how it works?

  (3) can I add features such as In-App-purchases, Push Notifications, adding to the newsstand etc. during the creation of the App on Indesign in the Panel Builder Folio or can I put these things in iTunes Connect?

  (4) currently with the unique edition of DPS, I don't have any Analytics - outside what iTunes Connect shows me of course. Is there perhaps any other analytics tool that I can use at the moment with the unique edition of DPS?

  (5) are there other things should I consider when passing the unique edition of DPS Professional Edition?

  #2: If you want folios of different size for each device, then you must create files of different size for each device. We have a few features to InDesign to help with this (as the other layouts), but there is still time. Honestly, it is useless. Dimensionnera your folios of 1024 x 768 for the iPad and mailbox correctly on all Android and Windows devices that support us, even Android phones. The only place where you would need to do another dimension is to support iPhones.

  #3: they are configured in iTunes Connect and App Builder. We have a walkthrough guide that illustrates the entire process to http://help.adobe.com/en_US/ppcompdoc/Adobe_Publishing_Companion_Guide_for_iPad.pdf.

  #4: there is no available with simple editing analytics.

  #5: don't forget that when you switch to Professional Edition we still that supports only apps on iPad edition. The iPhone, Android and Windows support is only with applications of several questions.

  How can I share a folio with a client who is not an adobe id but always use Adobe Content Viewer? I sound Apple ID to add but how to work around the problem of Adobe ID necessary to connect to the content viewer?

  For your customer to use ACV and check your folios shared, it must create a id Adobe or you can create one for them. You have DPS CC or DPS unique edition (serial number base) license?

  Tools DPS are buiilt in InDesign CS6 - Folio overlays and Folio Builder. You can download the latest updates of these tools in InDesign by going to help > updates or downloading updates of http://www.adobe.com/downloads. • Deploy a DPS internal folio

  Hi all

  We actually have to work arround deploying a Folio internal DPS in our society.

  We already have a license of simple edition included with our creative cloud program.

  I found a resource on Adobe's Web site on the deployment of an internal viewer (see here) and it's mentioned to DPS Enterprise edition.

  In our case, we only need a single folio application, don't need us a viewer questions multi.

  Is it someone from Adobe can confirm that, with only one license edition and an inscription to the iOS developer Enterprise program, I will be able to deploy this content internally? Or, for the deployment of an internal slip of the DPS, you absolutely need a DPS Enterprise edition?

  To create an application for internal distribution unlimited, you need to a DPS Enterprise license and iOS Developer Enterprise license. Using DPS Enterprise, you can create business signed generations for distribution inside. This feature is not available with Creative Clould/DPS unique edition or Professional edition, it's only the DPS Enterprise.

  Alternatively, you can manually add up to 100 UDID of your files portable Provisinoing so you have limited distribution.

• Apple rejects DPS unique edition App!

  I recently created a first version of a print magazine of high quality like an iPad version.

  For this, I chose simple editing DPS, convinced that that would be the least risky to get experience with the iPad magazine look and feel of the digital version.

  I bought the license single edition of Adobe to believe it.

  Now my app was rejected as too like magazine!

  First of all, I am always surprised by the grounds for the refusal of Apple. Second, if too magazine as a rejection of the criteria, why Adobe sells unique edition at all?

  In my view, that a complete guide must be provided by Adobe on how to ensure that your simple editing is approved. Searching this forum I see more people with the same issue, but no real resolution too it.

  Anyone who has the same experience or some ideas that could enlighten me, I would much appreciate it.

  If possible add more interactive features offered by DPS as frameworks scrollables, MSO etc. Appeal to the Board of revision of the Apple app and provide them with examples of all similar apps available in the App store if possible. During the call, provide them with wise (Page/Article) examples on the best interactive elements in your application.

  I would like to know what is adobe plan to enable us to maintain our DPS already published applications in the Applestore. I undestand that you plan to support only fixed epub layout (ibookstore) and not the Applestore after may 2015. So, what happens with our applications already developed? What happens with our customers?

  You can publish the first folio when you want to. It will not appear until your application is approved.

  When you create a multi-folio application, the application itself is just a container. It does not include the folios. Instead, the library looks at the level of the Adobe server for leaflets published by using the ID of title specified in the Viewer. For a subscription application, you need to create in-app purchases for each sheet of the retail and in-app purchase product ID for each subscription period. You offer in-app purchases to Apple.   If you are a current monthly pro customer, that nothing changes in March or may. I don't know how much more clear, I can be. If you are already a customer monthly pro that nothing changes. You continue to pay every month, continue to buy achievements and continue to have the Pro level features DPS (no windows customized, for example).

  Unfortunately there is no other way, you must build a new application as an application Multi question in DPS App Builder, publish your folio as 'Public' of the title id and submit to Apple for approval.

  Well, so I already have a live application on the app store that I published a few months using the DPS simple editing platform.

  I would now like to update/upgrade this application on the apple store with a new folio.

  Recently, I've upgraded to a new iMac and made sure to copy all documents on my hard drive which included all certificates, so that I can use them again for an update.

  I found a good tutorial Digital Publishing Suite help | Folios of publication for the Distribution Service to update my application but have you encountered a problem.

  The problem I am facing now, is that when I connect to the DPS App Builder platform and try and change the current application, I get this error message...

  The folio included in this application is missing. The app was

  I don't understand what that means in fact that I copied all the files from my old computer with respect to the first app on my other...

  You cannot change the existing application on a different machine than appeared on. You will need to go to the Folio Builder Panel in InDesign, select your folio and App create in the drop-down menu to create a new app use all the same settings that your old and you can download it on iTunes to replace your existing application.

  Please I need some help here. We are currently in the 2nd edition of our magazine iPad: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/absolute-photo-magazine/id719597521?mt=8

  We try to create a version of our app advertisers that can display on all platforms (iPad & Desktop). What we have done is created a delegate account and folio builder Panel, we shared the specific folio with this delegate and sent the login credentials to some advertisers. This allows them to display using the viewer of content on an iPad.

  I am also trying to export the .folio file in order to send it to specific people to view using viewer content on the desktop (PC and MAC). In the example here http://www.e3zine.com/desktopviewer.html there is a file single .folio but when I use the export function later in the publication that it exports a zip file that contains all the items in the form of files individual .folio. Is it possible to export this folio as a .folio only one file?

  This isn't something that is supported by the DPS. For your windows users (if they are on Windows 8.1) download Adobe Content Viewer Windows Store and then they can connect just as they would on an iPad. For Mac, they use an iPad to preview content.

  my files.

  Make sure that you use the OpenType fonts to avoid problems there.

• DPS PRO monthly edition issues

  Hello

  I have a client who needs to get a digital publication on the store of apple, android, and windows.

  DPS Pro and its characteristics would be perfect. The annual cost is too expensive for the customer because there is only a single sheet.

  So I have a few questions related to the monthly subscription:

  1 can I buy for just a month, and the month download the folio?

  2. the application will remain on stores after the month is up?

  3. don't Analytics register only during the month of the subscription?

  4. If we wanted to add another folio this year could us buys another monthly subscription to the stores?

  5. when it is subjected to the stores is it possible of lets say to the apple store to make it appear like a native app rather appear in kiosks?

  I am aware it would also buy folio fresh bundles of download.

  1/2/3/4: the application will remain in the store, as long that leave you there, but you must maintain an active subscription DPS Pro for downloads to work. If you end your subscription immediately after downloading a folio your readers will not be able to download the leaflet inside the app.

  5. Yes, you can choose if it is on newsstands or just a regular application.
