  d3d9_43.dll is one of the 'new' DX files, and you have a fresh install of Win7, you need to update DirectX

  I've just updated to the latest version of CC and now when the Workspace 'Start' show when no documents are open option is enabled, if I drill a dialog box modal when open file (for example collect series number or display options import), Photoshop pushes itself in front of the dialog box and I have to minimize PS to complete the workflow file open.

  Internal dialog boxes appear to operate (for example import OBJ), but it always seems like a bug. I can't thing of a good reason why PS should force in front of a window of the plugin.

  Also noticed that if you use the "Recent files" workspace Show and try to open something with a dialog import (e.g. OBJ file once again), there is simply nothing. Definitely a bug.

  Suggestions to work around programmatic or can I just say my clients to minimize or off this option?

  Dialog box ScriptUI or C/C++ or something else?

  If C/C++ and windows, you're defining the parent than Photoshop window? SimpleFormat SDK example seems to work for me under windows.

  Any - one out there had some magical suggestioins please?

• Most start menu missing icons, XP SP3

  what you'll see in Solution Explorer are the folder parent for users, including the administrator.  you will also find subfolders for the desktop and startup programs.

  then hunt around for your missing shortcuts or the shortcuts in the folder and then copy them from a user account to the other.

  If, however, you still can't find your missing shortcuts.  then re-create the files in the appropriate user account and make new shortcuts to put in it.

  I was not able to locate the Start Menu.  I can't use the Windows Logo to access the menu any longer.  I can't access 'find the lack of Menu start' under the control panel.  I click on the link and nothing happens.  Once I reduce something, I can is more to it.  I have to use 'Restore down', if I ever go back to something.  I can't access the Task Manager.  Once I do a "Ctrl-Alt-Del", I click Manager tasks and nothing happens.  I really miss my "Windows".  Does anyone have an answer?

  If you have another user on this computer account? If so, a long time in this user account to see if the question follows. You can also open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Alt +DELETE, click on file and new task and type cmd in the Open field.   I've been struggling with trying to understand an intermittent problem for the last 3 weeks.  The problem has been around for one more month, but it seems to happen more and more often can't find the source.  I wish I could attach the dump files memory here, but don't see any option for this.  So here it goes...

  Have had this computer for 2-3 years and have not changed the material at all and only the drivers updated.

  CPU: Intel Core i7 CPU * address email is removed from the privacy *.

  Motherboard: ACPI x 64

  PowerSource: Power TX 750W.

  2 Hardrives: WDC - WD6401AALS-00L3B2 ATA

  6 GB OF RAM

  Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260

  I have wiped the two HD, reinstalled Vista.  I've updated the Vista completely.  I've updated the following drivers to their latest: graphics card, motherboard, map its (motherboard), LAN (motherboard).

  The computer crashes more often that the BSOD appears.  When it freezes, the sound plays all that was the last one on again and again and nothing does.  No data memory is dumped to the crash.  I checked with another computer that is on the network to see if she could still access shared files and that he could not.  It has frozen or gave the BSOD when just doing electronic-mail/surf net or playing dungeons and Online (DDO dragons).

  Used Video Card Stability Test (Group in stone), no problem.

  Used Seagate Diagnostics on HD, long and short no trials, no failure.

  Reported on BSOD errors:

  Ntoskrnl.exe could not start: missing/corrupted core

  dxgkrnl.sys

  driver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL nvlddmkm.sys

  More information on these if necessary.

  I get about 5 freezes with no info to each BSOD with info.  Very hard to debug with any info.

  I've had freezes/BSOD occur minutes after the computer starts and the hours.  Have the box to open with an external fan blowing into the case.  Don't think overheating is the problem.  No overclocking ever carried out on the system.

  I'm relearning all debugging stuff, did not have to do this in a long time any help would be very appreciated.

  I'll help you with this problem. I suggest you follow these methods.

  Method 1: Follow these steps:

  (a) key Ctrl + Alt + Delete on the keyboard at the same time.

  (b) click on Task Manager, files, a new task.

  (c) type explorer.exe and press OK.

  Method 2: As it appears in the taskbar in safe mode, perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

  Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the article How do I reset the computer to start as usual after a clean boot troubleshooting section to start the computer to a Normal startupmode.

• When switching from Lightroom to Photoshop it default to the workspace 'Start' instead of 'My own work space' which she did before PS updated 2 December 2015

  e.g. copy My_Workspace.psw and paste it

  C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2015\Required\Workspaces CC. In this directory, remove Start.psw and rename My_Worksapce.psw to Start.psw

  Remove Start.psw in the workspaces (modified) [see above] directory as well. PS will create a new one here.

  Make sure that the two new features are selected in the General preferences in PS.

  Now in Lightroom will change to PS, it starts in My_workspace as it used to.  When I opened just PS it now starts in the workspace of beginning.

  I run Photoshop CC 2014 update on an iMac of retina 27 "display. I just noticed that the button for the workspaces is missing. I can see the areas of work, if I go to the menu bar and click window > workspaces, but the button is completely absent from the control panel. I deleted the workspace preferences. I would be grateful for any help.

  I forgot to mention that I use Yosemite. Furthermore, I solved the problem. I went into the preferences panel and in the Interface tab, I clicked no Enable close option bar. For some reason any after that I did the button work space is back. I've never had this problem before. Maybe it's a bug with Yosemite and Photoshop. I hope that I can help someone another frustration.
