  Bassically I want to add text to a chain control / indicator without losing the formatting of the previous text.

  For a part of a program that I create, data will be transmitted to and from a serial device. I want to display this data in a chain control / indicator and change the color of the text of certain strings depending on data type (sent, received). Basically as a nice log window.

  

  At the moment, I update the chain control / indicator by reading the text and concatenated with the new string. However, this method removes the colors of previous text :-(

  Is it possible to add data to the control of the chain / indicator without losing the text previous formatting?

  I started to create a sub vi who reads a text both character and adds a new element in an array (offset color and text), if the color is distinguished by the previous character. Only problem is it seems to be quite time CPU.

  Actually, no. This means that you will have to use workarounds. Your workaround solution seems a bit involved. Basically, all you need to do is just to keep track of the pairs of end start/selection selection that must be colored in a table. Then just you loop in this table to color the text marked by the power positions.

  An alternative is to use a different indicator. Rather than an indicator of the string, you can use a table with a column. You can then set the foreground color on a cell by cell basis, and add a new line (row) will not affect the coloration of the previous lines.

  I just upgraded my satellite L300 with DVD Toshiba Vista Home premium "s (Dutch version).

  Step 1: update Toshiba DVD deleted all drivers as promised
  Step 2: Windows 7 Home premium Upgrade DVD installed without problem.

  Step 3: Upgrade Toshiba DVD won't start help following (translated from Dutch) error:
  Can't control the digital signature for this file.
  A recent hardware or software change has probably installed a file with a wrong or damaged digital signature...

  Apart from some basic Windows (IE) programs I can't run, install, or remove all other program-always this error...
  Other utilities (wifi for example) just give the message they encountered an unknown error...

  I tried to update some drivers on the Toshiba site but not a downloaded file monkey runs... (all with the same digital signature error)

  What now?

  I got, I think, to install the drivers of Toshiba in safe mode, but many programs fail to run, install or remove even...
  anything that gives the signature error... (ccleaner, revo uninstaller, also all the Setup files downloaded after installation of 7)

  Touchpad will freeze now and if often, leaving only Ctrl-Alt-Del to reboot the computer

  So apparently no one can help me...

  I found a solution to disable the verification of digital signature in Windows 7, but for that you have to open CMD as administrator.
  Guess what, same CMD refuses to open, because it does not recognize the digital signature...

  How to turn off this thing until I throw my PC in the trash...

  I work for a Publisher and we use InDesign to implement our print files can be downloaded (usually in PDF format).

  I need to find a glyph special to use does not appear in my font (Times New Roman)?  I really need to fix this!  Any help is appreciated.

  Thanks for sharing files. In the "OutpassageEbookTextcontent.indd" document, instead of an em dash, two quadratins are used and it is probably the reason why you see in the EPUB. You can use the find/change dialog box to understand when these are used. I sent an email stating in many places where they are used as your files may be confidential and I abstained from publishing excerpts of text on the forum. Please take a look and let me know if I have not understood your problem.

• access the properties of digital format

  I create digital controls/indicators on the fly.  Most of them should be displayed in hexadecimal.  However, I can't access the format properties that allow me to define that when I create the indicator/control using the new object VI VI.  I think that this happens because the numeric type is not digital (Strict) but rather just num.

  I say this because I realized that if I simply place a digital control on a façade, made a right click to create a reference, and then access the properties of the said reference, I have access to the properties of the format, I want to talk.  A compare/contrast below pic to show what I mean...

  

  So my thought then was, maybe I should change the style of the object I created to be digital digital type, but this style does not exist.  There are styles of digital data, but this is something completely different.

  So my question is, what style/class combo do I need to have a digital control that will allow me to specify the Format property?

  Digital is a child of the cursor and inherits the value of the slider as well as his State to disable enable.

  There is a case where the definition of properties separately are useful. If you customize the control, you can replace the digital with another type of indicator (a dial for example) where it is practical to be able to define its scope and properties (such as its colors of ramp).

  I have created a form that has a number of text box form fields that must be numeric only by the applicant of the form. However, for any field data of this type, the number of digits that can be entered can vary from 0 to 3 and the applicant wants all decimal unnecessary to appear in the final output (for example, an entry "1.2" does not appear as "1,200"). The standard number formatting properties always show all decimals, so I know that it is not this way. No calculations will be made with one of these entries - the applicant form is simply enter data and then printing to make it readable for the end user.

  I know that the following line of JavaScript in the hit limit the digital input only Custom property, but how do I change the syntax to allow a decimal writing:

• Individually control the digital ports

  I'm getting a weird behavior when I run the VI attached on my computer out of ports digital test/control individually. I have not tested on real hardware because it is not available at this time.

  When the code is executed, the output pins are beginning to count gradually immediately (binary counting). Activation of the input pins has no effect which is contrary to the wide of the goal.

  It seems to me that the DAQmx function is one that behaves badly, but I don't know why. All I want to do is activate different ports return specified by my selection.

  Could someone please tell what I am doing wrong?

  It is because you are using a simulated device.  Readings are just the model of metering for digital ports.  Once you get real hardware, it should work the way you expect.
