  Hi, this is my first post here in the community.  Really in a funky spot.  I bought this gateway zx4970g (all in one office) in 2012.  It came with windows 8, and I immediately had trouble grasping the new UI and all that.  Well well, after some time and many restorations system / factory reset / and system refreshes.  (due to my lack of account administrator and user experience)  I found myself with a deformed, mired malware, windows experience sad and broke.  So after a few years was updated absurd to 8.1 and back to OEM and updated rear and down to 8 due to once again, my lack of user accounts and control.  (this is my opinion though, im not some that all I had problems with, but I always found myself with work not OS)  So, naturally, I did a bootloader usb win 8 'repair' (took me a full day learning even this small small task) and tried a few times fix my broken already PC.  Well, that's where I lost it.

  I am not here to ask for any sympathy or excuse related nonsense.

  So I decided, after LONG consideration and a large NUMBER of family members, peers to downgrade to windows 7.  I was told it was much easier to deal with and much faster too.  So of course, I will with my own flesh and blood, you know.  Well heres where the poop hits the fan.  Downgrade I lost one of my keys to orig for win8 (which I thought was impossible based on facts who BOUGHT THE retail PC) I always win8 OEM key, with win7 valid key as the publishing houses or pro.  And if in my trys frantic to get my work PC.  I 'upgrade' to win 10 tech preview.  Well yes another damn error.  So now I'm on July 17, 2015.  With an overview of the company United Nations activated windows (do not want windows business) "I would be WAY BETTER" with the House...  I think.  Windows 8 and assistants to upgrade windows 7 tell me that I'm not allowed to go back and win10 will not let me choose the home or pro.  And I don't know if I can get even more for free win10 for the first year.  Although I myself signed with icon in the lower right to prove.

  Please help me understand what I can do if anything about this PC and activation.  I want a job can be updated windows operating system which is not part of some edge cheeseball bull initiated *.  My orig win8 instal disk disappeared.  Fix missing usb, only left with couple discs to install win7.  Not really where to start. PS SORRY FOR THE WALL OF TEXT.

I also noticed that microsoft had provided me with a graphics card that was previously matrox millineum g series under xp. Sound, video, game controllers also changed the device to microsoft. If a total of 143 recommended updates were automatically installed and verified by windows, I have the problem again. Should I have to install win xp or should I update my graphics device? My custom pricing windows is 1.0.In win 7, internet, videos play very smoothly. Should I try to win7(64bit) to win7(32bit). Thanks for the help.
