• Photosmart 2610 usb connected stops printing in the queue; error noted. IMac os 10.6.8. prints test page

  I used all-in-one HP Photosmart 2610 for years without change. Now everything is print spooling with non-descript "error" when it is in the queue. I can print the test page for the utility and I can print via the usb connection to my laptop which has supposedly the same software and updates. I uninstalled and reloaded the software updated and get a message that the software has been installed successfully. Install HP works OK and the dashboard widgit working to show supplies. But the printer in the printer/Fax preferences poster "information not available" when I check for supply levels.

  When I try to use the printer utility I get a message "some components installed on your computer have been developed for a different version of the HP utility. These components will not be loaded and some features related to your device cannot be accessed ".» I downloaded the latest version of the software and reinstalled my original software CD and cannot always my computer to print.

  If you are using Snow Leopard or Lion and you have the HP software before Snow Leopard (either from a CD not marked as compatible with 10.6 or you recently upgraded to Snow Leopard or Lion and had the software HP on your Mac before you upgrade - even if you made a standard from the old software uninstaller or installed new software on top of it) , you must uninstall the software by using the "scrubber":

  Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
  Click on continue
  Highlight your device in the left pane
  Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Cmd keys on the keyboard at the same time as you click on uninstall< this="" is="" the="" scrubber="" option,="" there="" is="" no="" button="" labeled="">
  There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
  Click on continue and let it finish

  Restart your Mac

  Now reset the printing system:

  -Sys Prefs, Print & Fax
  -Right (control) click inside the box that lists your printers and select Reset Printing System.
  WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
  -Select the sign + to add again. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

  I have a question about the issue I've had it about a month.

  I run after Effects 5.5 on Mac OS Mavericks.   I had no problem with AE5.5 before I've upgraded to the latest version of the OS and even since the version of the OS has been updated to the Mavericks, AE does not work properly.

  I am able to launch the program, however, I can not edit, modify files, y at - it solutions for this issue?

  • Buy AE CS6
  • Rent CC AE
  • Get a machine with a BONE inherited run AE CS 5.5

  The reason: AE CS 5.5 does not work with the Mavericks. the software is now three versions old.  Adobe has already said she won't change AE CS 5.5 to work with the Mavericks.

• After the update and restart my computer was like a whole new vista version and the version of office business. All files and emails and contacts and other programs have disappeared!

  Are you referring to (files, emails, contacts and other programs) shortcuts on the desktop?

  When updates are installed on the computer it says system files, this process of service not Microsoft that are running in the background can conflict with updates and tour damage the system settings.

  This problem can also occur if system files are corrupt.

  Try the following in order to recover the desktop icons.

  Even though the desktop icons disappear, the programs are still installed on computer you can launch them.

  Method 1:

  Ø, right click on the desktop

  O select view

  Ø, click show the desktop icons

  Method 2: Click the Start button > select programs > verify if all the programs installed on the computer display > try to start or right click on the program and Select create a shortcut

  Check the updates that triggered this question go by the date.

  1. Click for Start > Control Panel > Classic view > Windows Update.

  2. along the top, click view update history.

  Before you install updates, follow the precautionary steps listed below.

  Step 1: Disable the security software on the taskbar

  Note: Activate security software once theupdates are installed.

  Step 2: Disconnect external devices like printer and scanner, except the mouse, keyboard, and internet connection.

• HPG62 freezes with opening stop or restart on any OS - HDD and RAM pass all the tests.

  I have a HP G62 Notebook PC with a product XX165EA #ABV number with me. All material on the inside are original parts (RAM, HARD disk, etc. were never replaced so far)...

  I was running last Windows 8 on it and it would always freeze at the moment I click on stop or restart. I left it like that in for like 30 minutes to see if it comes back, it doesn't. Nothing else that hold the power button until it turns off would work.

  Suspect a hard drive problem, the first thing I wanted to do is to backup my data. So, I had a version of Ubuntu 10.10 NetBook edition (I try to stick to the basics as far as possible when you back up data on the last moments). Once I've saved data and decided to restart to solve, samething happened. Complete freeze.

  Suspecting that the affected hard drive the laptop this way, I turned off and removed the hard drive and tried. Still happens.

  Tried to remove the RAM and mounting module to another location. Still happens.

  Run the hard drive HP (quick and full) and the test of memory, that both run successfully without errors.

  Removed the CMOS battery, forcing a reset CMOS of laptop. Still happens.

  Anything left to troubleshoot?

  Scan is stuck at 52%.
  I bought a copy of Windows 8.1, all hard drive formatted and installed. The problem of gel seems to have disappeared.

  New copy of windows 8 did not work. It kept freezing. 8.1 only solved!

  Please note that I would be rather sent this directly to Adobe Support, but could find no option to do so.  Although my attitude is positive and optimistic, I admit I am tired to contact support or research forums whenever a CC update is released.  It is an ongoing issue and I post it here in the hope that a true solution can be reached.

  Dear Adobe support,

  Since becoming a member of creative cloud in November of 2013 I never got an update of the application smoothly.  This isn't hyperbole - I have literally never been able to update any application of CC without hassle.

  Generally update problems are related to the creative cloud desktop application itself.  I run CC on a desktop at home and a laptop for travel (both are PC Win7).  Until this last update (2015), I have never once able to get cc to update without the help of the support.  After many phone calls to support (the most recent file number is 186138615), I wrote finally descend the steps always took so I could apply the fix myself. Here are the steps:

  1. Allows you to uninstall the application CC CC Cleaner
  2. Restart the machine
  3. Rename folders OOBE in two places.
     1. C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Adobe
     2. C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe
  4. Ensure that AAM is not running in the background (end process in task Mgr.)
  5. Creative cloud Setup

  After walking through the above process, I was able to update applications (Photoshop and Lightroom) CC.  However, it's a bit complicated to do whenever I want to install an update for Photoshop or Lightroom.  I don't want to do, but at least it worked.  It worked on my desktop until the 2015 update this week.  After you run the steps once again, I can update application creative cloud itself, but not Photoshop. This is the error I get always now:

  I'm used to be able to install CC updates on my laptop without problem.  With the update of 2015, I am unable to install or update anything, including the creative Cloud desktop application.  Even after the execution by the not-to-fix mentioned above, when I try to re - install creative cloud, I get the following error:

  

  Now I can not install the desktop application creative Cloud on my laptop, which means I can't at all updates of Photoshop or Lightroom.

  At the present stage, at the present time, I cannot update Photoshop on my desktop and can not update anything on my laptop.  It's painful because I've always paid my subscription every month since the first subscription to CC.  It is a hassle to have to uninstall CC whenever an update has been released, but at least that used to work.  Now, I'm really stuck and feel that I do not receive the product that I pay.

  I would appreciate any advice you can give:

  1. Help me update my CC applications and continue to be updated in the future
  2. Ensure that I do not need to contact the Support from Adobe every time an update is released

  Steve, it seems that there are some missing permissions on your regular account and, therefore, you will need to create a new user account.

  Even the 50 error code is related to permissions.

  You may be able to upgrade to 10.6 Snow Leopard (Apple no longer provides updates of security for such archaic system) to El Capitan v10.11 > update of OS X El Capitan - Apple Support

  No matter which OS X is installed on a Mac in 2009, it shouldn't take a minute to start, but it is not as fast as a new Mac either.

  Minimum of Photoshop is v10.9 (Mavericks) or later version, so it should work on El Capitan 10.11.

  With v10.11 as el Capitan installed, you can buy the Pages app for writing documents. It is available on the App Store for $19.99.

• Impossible to stop or restart the pc :(

  My pc did not move! Even though the handmade he just sleeps. It happened a month. I tried every possible troubleshooting solution. Maintenance of performance used and it seemed to solve problems detected, even for updates. Then, I used disk cleanup and removed the unnecessary files recommended. Even bought a PC utility kit online to solve certain problems of 1000 +. Quite. Still can not stop. I even downloaded SUPER AntiSpyware and Autorun as recommended in response to the question of the customer (instructions follow) and that has a rating on my screen that has been there for over 2 hours now and nothings pending "that Setup asks permission...." has arrived! ??? It makes me crazy! Help, please? (FYI: before this problem my screen would freeze followed by another problem whereby cases during PC startup, everything would be normal startup until I logged and screen would be just empty and yet it seems to be running as usual-, I used maintenance performance outages and seemed to solve the problem)

  It would be normally occurs when your PC have some programs not responding and Windows just stuck everything trying to close.

  You might normally kill the process using Task Manager > processes tab. find the process that is consuming a lot of resources (mainly the third) and close one by one. Whenever you kill the process, choose to stop or restart your PC until you get the process causing.

  You can manually force Windows automatically close the process which is unreponisbe in nature through registry settings.

  1. the Registry Editor open by typing regedit in the immediate window.
  2. navigate to HKEY_USERS. DEFAULTCONTROL PANELDESKTOP
  3. double click on Auto end Tasts , then set it to the value of o 1.

  Restart your pc and the next time, the process of hand will be automatically closed down.
