WPA and Dell Wireless 1505 Wireless-N-internal card

I ordered a 1400 Vostro with Vista business with Dell Wireless 1505 Wireless-N internal card. I intend to use this card on my current network 802.11 g with WPA (personal) security, but it seems that descriptions of product for this card don't say "WEP 64 and 128 bit. OTOH, the description of the Intel Wireless-n card mentions all the variations of WPA encryption. Is the description of the product 1505 incomplete and this card takes actually supported WPA or I'll have to order a new card? I can't imagine that any new wireless card doesn't support WPA, but...

  • Reference Dell place 11 Pro - Dell Netready (HSPA +) with O2 sim card

    Hello everyone

I would buy a Dell coming Pro 11 but it is essential for me, the presence of a cellular modem (3G / HSPA +) to connect whenever I want, without a wireless point.

The Italian Web site Dell offers two solutions: one "for businesses" with a wireless Dell 5570E network (3G / HSPA +) cellular modem and the other "for the home" with a Dell Netready (HSPA +) with cellular modem (model CNV1M02) O2 sim card. Since I'm a soldier without VAT, I don't think I could buy the solution for companies (am I?), so I have to buy the one with O2 sim card.

What I would like to ask is:

    (1) what is the difference between the two cellular modem? They have different performance?

    (2) if I buy the one with O2 sim card, I will be able to use the cellular modem with a different sim card (O2 is quite exspensive) or is the SIM blocked somehow (hardware or software)?

    Thank you very much

    Best regards

There is no difference between Dell Netready with sim card O2 and Dell Wireless 5570E. Tablet using 5570E HSPA + / 3 G modem and it did not all simlock. I ordered V11 Atom with Dell Netready, and now I use with several mobile internet providers (Poland).

  • Add internal Bluetooth and/or Wireless N dual channel HP dv4-2164us

My computer is currently under warranty, so I'm not eager to open the machine until the computer comes out of the warranty.  Before opening the machine, so these are my questions:

    Quick questions for gurus.

I think to add internal bluetooth and/or Wireless N dual channel my computer to HP dv4-2164us.

    1. My MB has connections to add a separate internal bluetooth card?
    2. To clarify the question 2... If the MB CAN normally do, HP is usually to have the connectors removed from the Mo for these types of potential improvements?
    3. What bluetooth card do you recommend?
    4. I currently have 2.4 GHz wireless n.  A different card support double n AND bluetooth would be a better solution?
    5. If Yes to question 4 What considerations such as antenna or other changes should be aware of them before the decision?
    6. All this that imagine you being to consider

    Thanks in advance!

FYI, the Bluetooth does not have an antenna.

I use Vista Home Premium on a laptop Dell 1545 Inspiron and Dell 968AIO wireless printer. I can't print the attachments of email but I can print several pages on the internet. I updated drivers and tried everything that other people have told me to try on other forums to the best of my abilities. I'm not otherwise qualified in computer science. Also, I will mention this all started when I restored my computer laptop back to factory settings. I did it because that's all I could think about. As far as coming back on my laptop, he did do the trick. Thus, suggestions, thoughts will be appreciated.

I worked on this issue for hours.  And the answer is: there is an update to one of the drivers DV8P, the driver of the Intel platform, bringing the clone feature.  Available through Dell for the DV8P and the direct link below product support page.
