  I write an application based on the text for Playbook. I read the libraries and learning native SDK for the last days. Now I can't find an easy way to 'draw' texts on the screen of the playbook.

  Native development kit is not really appropriate, unless you are ready to use the libraries of the add-on as the port of Qt, which is perhaps still a work in progress. The NDK for target now is mainly to games or other applications for which should be essentially generate UI whole 'manually '.

  HTML5 can obviously manage text. So can air. I can't recommend one over the other, or any other environment for you, since "text-based application" is not really describe what you are trying to reach.

  I activated the function SUA in my Windows 7 Ultimate installation.  When I click on the hyperlink in the programs, need me to Download Center for the version of Vista SP1 of the SDK, which is quite old.  Reading the 'what's new' SUA page indicates I want download is to:

  Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

  The Services for Unix components have been integrated into the operating system. With the release of Windows 2003 R2 and operating systems later, you do not need to download any package, all you need is to go to the control panel to add / remove Windows components, and select the components you need.  As you have guessed, there's nothing left for ever is the name "Services for Unix".  Windows 2003 R2 SFU components are called differently.  We have 'MS Services for NFS', "Identity Management of Unix" and "Subsystem for Unix - based applications.

• Subsystem for UNIX - based Applications (SUA) missing.

  In my Win 7 Pro 64 - bit o/s the subsystem for UNIX-based Applications (SUA) is not listed as a feature that can be turned on.  And I don't see an option in the Setup program to add this feature.  How can I add?

• Installing utilities and SDK for subsystem for UNIX-based Applications

  I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit on a Dell computer brand new with an Intel Core i5 CPU.

  To the appropriate location in the Control Panel, I activated the service "Subsystem for UNIX" - based applications It then adds a start menu item pointing me to a download page, where I can download an installer to activate.

  I downloaded "Utilities and SDK software of the subsystem for UNIX-based Applications_IA64.exe", which is the package of 64-bit intel approriate for my hardware.

  However, when I try to install this package, I get an error dialog box: "this installation package is not supported by this processor type. Contact your product vendor. »

  How can I activate this feature successfully?

  I found an answer on http://www.suacommunity.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=15341&high=This+installation+package+is%2csupported+by+this+processor+type.

  Correct packing for me to download is apparently despite my processor is a intel, AMD one.

  Are you able to play Pogo games with no Add-ons in IE?  Click on start ORB / all PROGRAMS / System Tools / Internet Explorer - no add-on.    Are you able to play Pogo games then?  Are you able to load Java then and that made Java allow the game to play.

  If the steps above helped you, one of the Add-ons that was ongoing is damaged.  You want to add components back one at a time and try to play the POGO game between each add rear Add-ons until the corrupt addon is identified.

  To do this in IE click Tools / Manage Add-ons / you should find on the left side of the window of 4 or 5 categories of modules.  Click on each category and section of the middle right click window an addon at a time, and then select enable you should be able to do this when right-clicking on the add-on status field.

  Please let us know if this helps you to solve this problem, or if assistance is needed.

  I came across the 'problem' which I am not able to solve myself (I tried for the past 24 hours without success).

  I'm building a medium-sized application that will use the DataGrid components in many modules. These components will extend with ItemRenderes to enhance the user experience (and allow the manipulation of data).

  
  One of the DataGrids has a column with the date. This date field will be open user input.
  The easiest thing would be to build inline ItemRenderer of type DateField, something to this effect:

  And this works perfectly well.

  However, I would like to be able to reuse ItemRenderers in my application and also send events (using the method of spread) that will trigger an additional feature is updated to another column with week number (read-only) based on the selected date. That's why I opted for external ItemRenderer.

  I created ItemRenderer with 2 components: HBox to align the date field (otherwise it would be aligned to the left of the data grid column which looks weird to say) and DateField. I have my DateField selectedDate property-related data. First of all, I had to convert my string RFC service return value to the type expected for selectedDate which is the Date object. Now when I run my application and start click/changing DataGrid rows, I get a nasty error message:

  This message has no sense to me at all. As mentioned above, I linked my value (converted to date object) date the selectedDate property on my ItemRenderer (called: ItemRenderers.DateFieldIR).

  I'm not sure what you mean by "disconnect", but it is generally interesting

  practice to have "abstraction" and "encapsulation".  The model data for the

  rendering engine has two important values: the data property that corresponds to the entry of

  the collection element ArrayCollection and what you specified as

  the editorDataField, in this case, "selectedDate", which came out of the

  Editor and update the item in the collection ArrayCollection.

  The converter is an encapsulation or abstraction so your work when you customize

  is over these two values for the implementation correctly.

  When the rendering engine was just a DateField, he did all of this wiring to

In Firefox, however, the WebHelp loops trying to open the page of the main topic and does not display the "show TOC" link to subpages.   I must point out, this happens only for the project that we call for in an application based on the web, we offer our customers. Firefox displays the WebHelp correctly opening regularly from the browser.

  I did a search and -replace operation on the WebHelp published to the web application. Remove illegal characters took care of the problem, but I wonder that if there is a way to remove these characters from the output, so he can't remember to do the search and replace whenever we publish the project? (It's in beta right now, we will be republishing help quite often.)

  These characters are known as the BOM characters. See point 22 of http://www.grainge.org/pages/authoring/rh7/using_rh7.htm.

  You say that the behavior is different when you run help independently, and when developers are calling for help. If you are viewing from somewhere else? What happens if the aid is run from the use of the developer location but regardless of the application?

  I'm working on a document in Xcode using ApplescriptObjc, Editor, but I'm having a problem.   I doubt that you will find a lot of specific information AppleScriptObjC, because most of the tutorials and documents are in Objective-C (or Swift) and AppleScript isn't just popular for more serious application development.  Your best bet would be to download the TextEdit example code and convert the parts you need.

  In my development system I create a VI that I need to run continuously during a sequence so I have create and call using ActiveX controls. Works very well in my system of development with LabVIEW development system and LabVIEW runtime engine.

  When I deployed the sequence, I noticed that it adds "NIDIR\LabVIEW 2013\resource\labview.tlb", so I added it to my computer for deployment in "C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\LabVIEW 2013\resource". I registered and then it in Windows: C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319>regtlibv12.exe "c:\Program Files\N".

  No solution to the original problem found. I got around the issue with screws of wrapper to control the VI in question through Application control screws. essentially do the same thing I
  was to directly before TestStand.

• WPF graphics export to image problem

  My problem is that I created a new custom personalized using the chart wpf OR as a base. The control includes mainly the chart, its axis and legends on a grid. To allow the legend be moved, I put it in a grid of the child. My problem is that he was trying to export as an image control, I use the code below (similar to wpf graphical image export):

  The problem is the default color of the grid or niGraph in WPF is transparent. I simply changed color or image now saved correctly.

• Cannot ping server to use a server-based application

  I have a computer of workers, if I go to my network places, I can access the server.  If I ping the server by IP address, it pings fine.  However if I ping by host name, it pings somewhere else.  Here is a direct link with the ping command.

  I uninstalled and reinstalled the application that resides on the server in question, and I can also access all the files that are shared from the server.  Unable to ping the server, this is what prevents the application from running correctly.   I checked and rechecked all potential firewall which may run (norton and windows are the only two i found and both have been disabled)

  My first thought was to force recognition of the ip address in the host file.  the host file looks like this:

  the 10.1.10.11 is the server problem and it does not resolve when the name ping.

  I am at a total loss, because there are two other computers not 6 feet from the problem pc and they work perfectly well.

  This smells like a DNS suffix search list situation.  Whenever a TCP/IP non - Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) non - is registered (i.e. a name without a dot (.) in it) the DNS will seize the suffixes in a list and try them all out first.  This list can be found through a command window and typing the command:
  ipconfig/all
  and you will see marked lines "DNS suffix search list.  It appears as "epeopleamerica.com" is one of the entries in this list.

  Alternatively, if you go into the control panel network and made a right click your network connection and select 'Properties' and then double-click "TCP/IP" entry in the Middle window (maybe to scroll down) then click on "Advanced", then click the "DNS" tab there will be two checkboxes labeled "Append primary and connection suffixes DNS specific to the ' and 'add these DNS suffixes '.  To avoid this, click on the 'Add these DNS suffixes' box and remove all of the entries in the box below.

  Yet another approach would be to make your domain name FULL-not qualified by putting an end to a period.  So instead of:
  Ping Televantage
  Try:
  Ping Televantage.
  Then he would not add suffixes to the name when the name resolution.

  See you in 'My Network Places' because he is using NetBT broadcasts (Microsoft Networking) which is a different protocol of the TCP/IP line that uses "ping". (Different rules are in place to resolve the names of these two protocols).

  Make sure the software is up to date. Driver is only up to this day does not solve the problem because the software is programmed for the treatment of the specific drivers for its version.
