Write the key (path)

I am developing a few screws that use Configuration (.ini) files in a Windows environment.  My problem is that writing a Windows file results of path in an entry in the C/Folder/File.dat form (form C:\Folder\File.dat).  Finally, there is an internal routine specific path to the common path which translates the paths of files Windows this version "oblique".  I start with a Configuration file which paths are in the 'Windows' format and want to create an output as file in "Windows" (not common) format.  [Turns out that the reading of a key (Path) has a common path to specific path VI "reformat" it, but if the format is already specific or Windows, the path, it will "pass through" unchanged, as it should].

One solution, of course, is to recode the VI NOR myself, but this seems a bit excessive to me.  Someone at - it suggestions?  [Ooh, I don't think OpenG...]

BS

There is an entry in the key to write (String) VI which is ' chain brute writing? If you set this TRUE, it will write the string without the double-backslashes. Similarly, you have to wire a TRUE to the setting "read the raw string?" press the read (String) VI.

  • Open XML, how to write the path

    Hello

    I'm new to the Blackberry development and I hope you can help me with my problem. I try to work with an XML file, and so far, all that does very well as long I had the xml file, I work on, in the folder of my java application and deyployed using the desktop software. Now, I tried to put the file somewhere else on the Blackberry and I don't know how wirte the path to the source code. I tried the following, but it seems to be bad:

    private static String _xmlFileName = "file:///store/home/user/documents/test.xml";
    DocumentBuilderFactory factory = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
                DocumentBuilder builder = factory.newDocumentBuilder();
                InputStream inputStream = getClass().getResourceAsStream( _xmlFileName );
                Document document = builder.parse( inputStream );

    I hope you can give me a hint, how I write the correct path?

    Thank you very much!

    Best regards, jtr87

    PS: Sorry for my bad English, but I did not use it very often.

    You need to do something like that to get your InputStream:

    /** * @return an open InputStream for a file, or null if file does not * exist. * @throws IOException if there is an error opening the file */InputStream getInputStream(String name) throws IOException {
        FileConnection fc = null;
        try {
            fc = (FileConnection) Connector.open(name, Connector.READ);
            if (fc.exists()) {
                return fc.openInputStream();
            }
        } finally {
            if (fc != null) {
                try {
                    fc.close();
                } catch (Exception ignored) {
                }
            }
        }
        return null;
    }

    Notice that you must close the FileConnection at some point, regardless of if the call to openInputStream worked.

  • Get the key to series of windows 7 (PC formatted)

    Hello, I bought windows7 professional edition online. but now, I formatted my PC and don't remember the product key. (piece of paper I write the key is missing) is it possible that I can recover the key? I have my receipt numbers something in my email. Thanks :)

    If you can still start Windows, here are a few utilities, which will display your product keys:

    Belarc Advisor: http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
    (He did a good job of providing a wealth of information.
    However may not detect a key to office, then try one of the other two below)

    Paid (free demo is available): Recover Keys: http://recover-keys.com/

    Note: Also check the side of your PC case or at the bottom of the laptop for the
    Key OEM code. If there is a sticker with the code, it will probably not
    corresponds to what is displayed by the utilities mentioned above as OEM such as

    The key on the sticker code should be used with your Windows CD

    Okie dokie.

    Well I dug on the web and found someone with the same problem, and they said that when they have disabled "McAfee VirusScan 8.5 Access Protection", this error has disappeared. If this applies to you, give it a whirl if you wish.

    But the best support that I found came from this website: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/838687. The jist of it is (trying to fix it yourself):
    Fix it myself to fix this problem yourself, follow these steps:

    1. Log the computer by using an administrator user account.
    2. Start Microsoft Windows Explorer.
    3. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
    4. Click the view tab.
    5. Under hidden files and folders, click Show hidden folders and files.
    6. Clear the Hide extensions for known file types check box, and then click OK.
    7. Open the following folder: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Office\Data\

    9. Click the Security tab.
    10. Click Advanced.
    11. Click the permissions tab.
    12. Click to select everyone in the list entered permissions and then click change.
    13. Click to select the full control check box.
    14. Click OK three times. If these steps do not resolve this issue, delete the Opa11.dat file or the Data.dat file in the following folder and then restart an Office 2003 program or an Office XP program:
      C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Office\Data

  • Re: Tecra A10 - 18 M - writes a key without pressing again and again

    Hi all

    I have the laptop Tecra A10 - 18M.
    The OS is Ubuntu 10.04, but the problem also occurs with Windows XP.

    I have problems with my keyboard. From time to time (once a day), a single character (r) written without pressing the key.

    When I press "r" key nothing happen. When I write a digit (1-9) or around the 'r' key (e, f, t,...) he began writing of many 'r' again and again.
    This stops by pressing the keys on the keyboard with the flat hand and a bit of strength.

    I think that there is a broken cable?
    Someone has a similar problem?

    Thanks for your help

    Hello

    Sounds like a keyboard or keyboard cable malfunction...

    But just to be sure: did you notice the same problems with external keyboard?

It is a problem what I record in garageband after that Exchange (at the 42nd bar) not get moved down to adapt the new change of key. Also it doesn't let me change it back to d minor as anything I click has no effect. How can I stop the key to evolution?

    Check the path to the conversion.

    In the track menu > see Transposition.

    You can define a conversion on the track, which changes the tone of the song from bar 42.

  • Satellite P200 - 1 K 8 - lack of pressure on the keys at random

    Hi all

    I noticed that when sometimes typing on the keyboard, some keys will be not registered. So far, it occurs at random intervals, but usually keys such as a, e and o seem to be affected. For example, when you type this message I had to go back and complete lack of letters 3.

    It doesn't always happen, but is deeply frustrating when it does.
    Everyone knows about this problem?

    Thank you very much.

    You said it happens sometimes and at random intervals?
    So, are you sure this isn't your fault at 100%? I mean, perhaps, that you write to fast and miss the keys?

  • AppleScript to obtain the physical path of a picture in the Yosemite photos app

    In iPhoto, we had this nice XML file with the metadata for each image in iPhoto.

    In the Photos of Yosemite application, there is no file.  So, I wrote an Applescript script that loops on each folder, subfolder, album, etc. and write the details to an XML file.

    When code loops, I have:

    Repeat with img in each media element of myContainer

    and I get these details:

    • file name: 2011-07-10 020. JPG
    • Keywords: 2011-07-10
    • name: missing value

    • height: 3240
    • Width: 4320
    • altitude: missing value
    • Location: valuemissing missing value

    But nothing in these attributes tells me where the actual image file is on the hard drive.  Anybody know a way in AppleScript to obtain the physical path of a picture in Yosemite photos app?

    Thank you!

    There are two categories of images within a library of Photos: 1) copied - no external location information stored (by default) and image is stored in the photo library and 2) referenced - only the pointers to the location of external images are stored in the photo library, and location information to real image from the file menu and context menu as file referenced in the Finder menu item slide show can be found.

    In pictures preferences: general Board, there is an import: box - copy items to the photo library. Apparently, this option is enabled by default, as it was the once Photos migrate my iPhoto library. It also means that I don't have category 2 above and the menu items are gray, because there is no location of external file stored in the photo library.

    More on that here on different application.

  • How to write the comma delimited numbers of configuration file

  • The cancellation of the 'file' dialog box and handle errors caused by the empty path that makes the DB connection

    Hi guys.

    I developed a VI that connects to the database reads the names of tables, columns of the selected table, etc. It works well as I want to.

    However, I have problem with identifying the UDL file with function of dialog 'file' use in a structure of the event that is triggered when the button 'Open' value is changed. It also works well, when I choose the UDL file, but the problem is when I cancel it and I get the error 43.

    I tried to deal with this problem with a "error handler" function to clear the error 43 but the next errors that are associated with the database conncetion appeared. The reason is, when file dialog is cancelled, an empty path passes by reference of connection and I can't start the while loop where are the key codes. I also used a box Structure connected to "Cancelled" with 'DB connection tool' in case of real and connection the reference connection for the while loop, but I get the same result.

    I want to apply for work as: start to push the button "Open" and select the file UDL, the loop run to establish the connections database, if not with the cancellation of the file dialog box, the application waits by pushing the button open and select the UDL file again.

    Thanks a lot for your help in advance.

    Hi lman,.

    start to push the button "Open" and select the file UDL, the loop run to establish the connections database, if not with the cancellation of the file dialog box, the application waits by pushing the button open and select the UDL file again.

    Some pseudocode, easy to implement:

    WHILE

      onevent(OPEN button)
        FileDialog

      IF file selected THEN
        open database
        do calculations
      ELSE
        do nothing
      ENDIF

    WEND

    What is your problem with the help of loops and structures of the case?

  • Write to file path control

    Hi all.

    I was wondering if it is possible to write to a file of trajectory control. Right now I use control path of file for selectable modules that is then written to a configuration file. From the beginning, I want the config read to write in the same path of file control. Instead, I have to read the configuration of a path of the file indicator file instead which is not ideal. Is it possible that I can write directly to the file control?

    Select this option.

    Right-click the control on the front panel, then select Create the local Variable. Then, drag this variable in the same place you have the led terminals. This will write the value in the control.

    You will hear many people say that you should avoid local variables (race conditions, hard to debug, etc.), but in this case, they are OK. I use all the time to initialize my UI to a config file.

    P.S. Did you put more thought into rewriting the code?
