  Hi Experts,

  I stupidly updated to a bad firmware. Instead of the firmware for the WTRG54GS I've updated my WRT54GS with the firmware for the WRT45G. :-(

  The router is accessible by the intellectual property and this firmware works on my router.

  But after this accident, my router does not update the firmware on the right.

  On the Web interface, I get when the firmware upgrade, the following message appears:

  "Upgrade are failed"

  With TFTP, I get the message "bad boss".

  Someone has an idea of what I can do to update the firmware on the right? I need the firmware just because my WRE54G rangeexpander unable to connect to my router because I made this mistake.

  Try the downgrade the firmware with a older version if it works, then upgrade to the latest version. You can find them here.

  I have a clob field that returns the text "NULL" when it is empty.
  
  I don't know how to get rid of it and tried several methods that really work. I tried first to NVL who doesn't care at all because it seems that the clob is actually a string with a NULL value.
  
  I tried then decode... This operation fails because its just not work on varchars seems to me.
  
  That's what I came then with:
  
  Decode (to_char (dbms_lob.instr (description, 'NULL') + dbms_lob.getlength (description)), 5', ", description)
  
  (I use instr and getlength, so that the clob CAN contain the word NULL anywhere, but at first and when it is the only Word.)
  At first I thought that it worked... But as soon as the clob field extends to 4000 characters, it fails again.
  
  Any tips are appreciated. :)

  Can hang you with an Apple TV cable box at the same time

  Depends on your decoder.

  Apple TV using HDMI.

  If your cable box has a HDMI passthrough you can connect in this way.

  Otherwise, why would you want it to go through the cable box?

• Wireless router to modem Homeportal 1800 HG 2wire Linksys WRT54G with questions

  I have the Linksys WRT54G, and I'm trying to use it as the router to my modem 2wire Homeportal 1800 HG wireless.  The 2wire has four ethernet Sockets in the back marked from 1 to 4 and a telephone jack to connect to the wall for AT & T DSL service.

  I have the phone jack connected, and:

  -an ethernet cable

  -to one of the sockets at the back of the 2wire ethernet

  -to the 'Internet' on the Linksys ethernet jack

  - and an ethernet cable

  -to one of the ethernet (1-4) at the back of the linksys

  -to the ethernet port on the computer

  The Linksys is unable to connect via the modem and reports that it may not get an IP address from the PPPoE server.  (Directly connect to the 2wire works well though.)

  Who am I wrong configuration?

  There is no side effect of bridge mode... It is one of the mode in which the modem function. When the modem is in bridge mode, you cannot go online with the computer connected directly to the modem... and you will get a 169.254.x.x ip address.

  So after you convert the modem into bridge mode, you must do the PPPoE settings on the router to go online via router.

  in the end, it's a problem between the ISP's modem and the router that they helped me understand.

  My DSL service had changed their service, so TRP was no longer how they did the connections. Automatic DHCP was the current form. Following configurations of router DSL online provided inaccurate information. I didn't have the time to check with the ISP until yesterday afternoon when I was finally able to make a phone call and clarify things.

  We put the modem into bridge mode, checked some settings on the router, and then everything is back up now.

  Problem: The above statement only works for employees with the name of. (dot). It doesn't for the first names of dot. How to use the decode statement OR is there another way to do it without using the CASE statement?

  I have a few machines that are spend by GROUP from time to time constantly in my environment. Debugging on them and discovered it's certainly a matter of hardware. Had approached the seller and asked them to made a the memory check, but they mentioned that memory is very good. I had tried to decode the registers in the dump file and got the information below. Because they say that it is L1 cache somewhere down the line, is - this means that the motherboard had to be replaced since L1 resides on the motherboard or I am that interpret wrongly?   I disagree with rparker here - a MCE is not something that is generated by ESX - sound generated by the CPU.  Here, his appeal very precisely the problem:

  You have a bad cache L1 on the CPU - you will need to replace the CPU.

  (Parker is right about the use of devices supported - its always a better choice, but there's nothing here that suggests HW on the list not supported).

  I need to write a statement of up to DATE using the date of business rule. In general, the due date is 30 days from the date of payment. If the due date falls on a Saturday or Sunday then the term of the loan is 32 days.
  I know that to test a day of week, I would need to use the function to_char in Oracle with the format of a '. I did some research and found that to test what the week falls on November 12, 2007, I would need to use the expression to_char('12-NOV-2007','D'). This function returns a number between 1 and 7. 1 represents Sunday, 2 Monday,..., 7 Saturday.
  
  What I really would need to do, is to write a single UPDATE statement using an expression with the Decode function and to_Char function:
  UPDATE book_trans SET due_dte = expression
  
  These are operations that will need to be updated:

  In this case, it is very important to set up a new signal of TV on your device.

  I have a PPPoE internet connection

  I have 2 routers first is wrt54g second wrt160n v2

  I connect to the internet for the internet port of wrt54g

  can I make network ssid (linksys1)

  can I connect ethernet port wire to the first router wrt54g to the port at the second internet router wrt160n

  I have disable fun DHCP. on the second router to do as only access points

  then I put the network SSiD (linksys2) for the second router

  connections is Ok

  the problem is that the internet is always what FastConnect throw the first SSID router (linksys1)

  but when connect to second router ssid network (linksys2) its slow or limited (a few times)

  who is wrong?

  Please follow the instructions in my previous post.  (Note: the solution posted by death is a 'unique network' - it does not create two separate networks, so it does not work for you.)

  Since you want two separate networks, you must use two different SSIDS.  In addition, please choose a unique SSID.  Please do not use "linksys" or any variant of "linksys".  This will only cause you problems at some point in the future.  Use something unique, like "topgun" or "Lampshade."

  I was going to update my firmware for routers (w/speedbooster WRT54GS), so I check the bottom of the router... find model number... BUT there is no number of "worm" after her.  Which firmware version to use?
