After that WSUS installed and downloaded the most recent Windows XP and 7 updates, we encountered the following error:
The Web page of the Intranet being viewed in Internet Explorer (8 or 9) is on SERVER_A
and the page contains a link to a file on a network share on the Serveur_B, making the href path something like
'http://SERVER_B/myShare/myDocument.doc '.
... then it does NOT work.If the Intranet Web page being read in IE (8 or 9) SERVER_A on
and the page contains a link to a file on SERVER_A, making the href path something like
'http://IP..ADDRESS/myDocument.doc '.
... then it does not work. Before these updates, the system worked flawlessly. We try to identify the update that caused this problem, but 28 of them fell on a Tuesday. (22/11/2011). These questions are the same with IE8 or IE9 and WindowsXP and Windows7.
Has anyone seen this problem?

Tasks of installation of WSUS 2012 Server Message fail - access denied
I couldn't find the right place to post this.
I have a Windows Server 2012 who was executed on this WSUS. One day, it just stopped to receive updates. Several attempts to make it work again failed, so I uninstalled WSUS and re-installed. WSUS installs correctly, but the post installation tasks continue to fail. I tried to install via powershell without success. I went to group policy (Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\User Rights\Log on as a service) and added IIS_WPG, NETWORK, NETWORK, SERVICE, NT SERVICE\ALL SERVICE SERVICE. Then did a gpupdate/force. I specifically gave full control in the folder C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.3019\Temporary ASP.NET to the SERVICE NETWORK. The error I get now is:

Please help as I have come to an end. I'm ready to set up a new server and install WSUS on that.

Problem with WSUS after upgrade of SQL and SCCM
A few years ago, we implemented SCCM 2012 R2 on a virtual machine running Server 2008 R2 (Enterprise), using 2012 SQL for databases. We use it for software deployment, updates/patches via WSUS and imagery of the network. Everything is smooth enough for most, even if we hit a few snags Windows 10 points when that came out. After you install the patches and updates to our Server 2008 box to make it compatible with Windows 10 content, everything was good again. A few weeks ago, I decided to update our version of SCCM 1511 and SQL for 2014. After the two updates, I tested imaging and software deployment, and everything seemed good. I forgot WSUS, however... and later visited account it was not working properly for these updates. Unfortunately, I realized after I deleted the VM snapshot, I got to thinking that everything was good (stupid, I know). After researching and discovering some of the errors were permissions associated with - why would have changed the permissions on folders of SQL and SCCM upgrade I have no idea - those who have since been smoothed. Now, my mistakes seem to be related SQL more and I hit a dead end with research. When I opened WSUS and go look at the clocks, he tries to load the history of synchronization, and after a few minutes-error with the following information:
The WSUS administration console failed to connect to the WSUS server database.
Verify that SQL server is running on the WSUS server. If the problem persists, try restarting SQL.
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException - Timeout expired. The delay before the end of the operation or the server is not responding.

I found a few forums that suggest to uninstall WSUS and delete the database, and then reinstall WSUS. Unfortunately, when I try install fails... giving only an error code and no other explanation of why. The error is 0 x 80070643, which is supposed to be due to the current user not having the "sysadmin" in SQL. However, I have tried with several accounts I checked to make you have the sysadmin role in SQL (and are also part of the Administrators group on the server itself)-always get the same error message.
I would really like to try to find that rather than wasting his time with the construction of a new server and redo our whole SCCM environment... get the client reinstalled on all our machines to synchronize with a new server appears as a huge headache. Is there anyone else out there who know what would cause this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello
I'm running a windows 2012 wsus server. I wanted to install kb3095113 but I get the following error: ' Installation failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x8000FFFF: update for Windows (KB3095113).»
Searching the net I found the installation offline update--> the same question.
somebody got the same error?
I had the same problem and then I realized that I had already installed the update KB3095133 as a fix. For some reason, the WSUS server detected that the published update was still necessary. I think that you can just decline this update or I guess you can uninstall the version "patch" and then let the regular version install normally.

I'm having a problem with my WSUS machine that runs in Windows Server 2003, because it is unable to import import updates when I run the wsusutil.exe command. It keeps showing an error as follows:
Import cannot import updates. Please see the log file for details of the error.
Fatal error: failed to connect to the user ". The user is not associated with a SQL Server login that is approved.
Can someone help me solve this problem? Thank you much for the help.

2012r2 servers not report to WSUS after installing these updates
After the installation of the following list of updates, all three of our 2012r2 (two physical, a virtual) servers have ceased under the WSUS running on a machine 2008r2. Before going through the process of uninstalling each of these updates one at a time, I wanted to see if someone had experienced the same thing. There is no error message about the service update on any of the servers 2012r2. The notification only I see is in the interface WSUS where he said the machines were not reported in since these updates have been installed. The updates have been installed on different days on the machines, but once installed, they stop immediately notification in. Here is the list of updates:
- https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/3043812
- https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/3046737

- https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/3048778
The WSUS is version 3.2.
The latest updates in 2012r2 came down the pipe to the WSUS server. After being approved, the servers 2012r2 all found new updates from the WSUS server, install them, and the WSUS server relates now that they have all checked.
This seems to have been a temporary problem.

- Click Start and run, type services.msc, and then click OK.
- Right-click the automatic updates service and then click on stop.
- Minimize the Services snap-in.
- Rename C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution directory. To do this, follow these steps:
- Click Start, run, type cmd, and then click OK.
- Type cd %windir%, and then press ENTER.
- Type ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SDTemp, and then press ENTER
- Type exit and press ENTER.
Note When you delete the folder % windir%\softwaredistribution, the history list is erased from the "Review your Updates" section of the Windows Update Web site. This action will not affect the updates installed on your computer. Subsequent updates will appear in the history list.
- Start the automatic updates service. To do this, follow these steps:
