X220T - camera in Tablet Mode?

The Fn and F6 keys are not available in tablet mode, how we start the camera when compressed ln?

Simple pressure provides this feature. It's the little red dot on the corner of your screen. It can also be activated using two fingers to double-tap on the screen. According to my experience, the double tap should be smooth and not too fast or it will not reconginized.

Hope that helps!

  • x220t - conversion to tablet mode go to the portrait

How can I disable the portrait mode?  Since the upgrade to Windows 8, I downloaded and installed new drivers.  One of them got the job so that I can rotate the screen and convert to the tablet of orientation, but I want to go only to the landscape reversed (without having to press the button to change it).

I've already put the 'choose the order in which your screen turns' be set to ONLY modes two landscape.  It works for the button, but any driver Lenovo supports change of screen orientation when the joint is rotated is ignoring these parameters.

    Well, this problem is solved.

Throw "Menu contextual Tablet" Windows 8 start screen does not work.  This application has a strange problem I really did not occur in other applications.  When else it gets the focus of Windows, he kills himself.  Thus, the new start in Windows 8 lance screen this application and then restores focus on the desktop in order to make the application visible.  This causes the app to kill himself before a user can never see it!  Dear Lenovo, if you please correct it.  It's silly.  Let just the app stay on the screen until the closing like any other application.

    The work around:

Right click on the shortcut for "Tablet Shortcut Menu", and then click 'Open file location' in the menu at the bottom of the screen.  Double-click the shortcut to the folder that is opened in Windows desktop view. You can also run the executable file directly.  For my PC, it is located in the:

    "C:\Program Files (x 86) \ThinkPad\Tablet.

Now, to change the setting of the auto-rotation, I was looking for:

Click settings.  Under the subheading of the Automatic Screen Rotation (which should be checked) I had to choose "secondary landscape".  Voila, no more mode switch portrait when the screen is rotated to tablet mode - it goes to the secondary landscape (180 degree rotation).

  • Spectrum X 360: New spectrum X 360 does not turn the screen into tablet mode

My spectrum is only two weeks old and works wonderfully as a standard notebook computer.

However, I cannot get screen to turn when I select tablet mode or Flip on the stand of entertainment.

All the research online, I can find are people who used Win 8.1 and is updated to Win 10.

Mine came with Win 10 pre-installed.

None of the screens settings they advise to go to exist.

I also checked the registry and its game properly.

Windows 10 made the anniversary update a few days in me starts to use it so I don't know WHETHER or not the rotation number was there from the beginning.

I solved my problem re. the screen does not turn in tablet mode.

Yesterday, I installed HP Support Assistant in the hope, he suggests a solution.

It didn't at the time, but it made me on this forum where I see that many others had similar problems.

Today, when I turned on my laptop I noticed that support Assistant has a list of available updates.

the first who has updated automatically has been updated for HP Notebook System Bios (Intel processors) which, after installation and reboot I had not really noticed any difference.

Among the list of updates has been 'Intel Integrated Sensor Solution Drivers'

Because I couldn't find any menition of sensors in my device manager, I installed it.

Now I have the "Lock Rotation of this view" option may be greyed out there but at least now it.

Still no spin so I started to double check every thing once again and found that I had a new entry in the registry... Sensor

    present.

However Enable is set to 0 instead of 1

I changed the 0 to 1 and here I rotation.

However the only question now is the Rotation options buttons are greyed out, but I still can auto rotate when I flip to the tent, entatainment or tablet mode.

At least, that my X 360 so that its name and what I bought it for.

Fact my research I love the lack of rotation is not a specific HP problem but a problem of Windows 10.

If other problems persist, try to reduce your search settings to fail to win 10 to rotaate, you will see a lot more information out there.

Thanks to everyone who tried to help me. I hope that my message will help someone else.

  • Why when I open my camera Foscam, Activex mode, I have no picture, and I click on manage at the bottom, but ger javascript:adminstrator0. Why

My FI8910W Foscam, opens after the Panel, with three modes to the choice. Only ActiveX in IE mode, working to allow records to do. Sometimes, back, right after that I bought this new laptop, a free AT & T program with McAfee, is available for AT & T users. But this soft, can be loaded in Internet Explorer, and something wrong with IE, it prevented from happening. I contacted AT & T Tech support, allowed the tech on my machine, and even he couldn't solve it. Then, he opens Firefox I already had and installed a program that makes Firefox actually act like IE, so that the McAfee software, can be downloaded and installed. He worked, using Firefox to replace IE, to download and install, but the spooler to print on my pc, went wrong, and would not work to use my printer. Tech Dell takes control of the pc, found to reinstall a full Windows 7 was necessary, and he did. Now, the works of print spooler, but the new facility, has removed the AT & T Tech software added to Firefox.

That is a pain, but we need, for some sites, as for the Activex mode, with my camera. I tried pening mode ActiveX in Firefox, and it opens, but not picture. When I click on device management, to go into the settings, I can't. What I get is a little pop ball down to the right, that says "javascript:administrator0". Thinking that perhaps the Javascript has been disabled, I checked in the options and it's not so it is checked, enabled. I'm on my pc as an administrator, so now I'm stuck. Y at - there someone who can explain how to make it work, so I can use my camera in ActiveX mode, so I can actually record tings, if necessary, when I leave? Thanks in advance. Oh, my Win 7, a 64-bit OS, not the 32 if it helps.

More than likely you have had IE Tab installed in Firefox before re-installing Win7.

  • How can I activate the Tablet mode for kindle fire

I loaded Firefox on my Kindle fire from an FTP site and seems to work.
Firefox site indicates that the Kindle fire uses the default mobile mode and to have a Tablet mode by default see below but nothing is there.

You can type about: config in the address bar and use the filter to find browser.ui.layout.tablet. Select it and use the arrow buttons to change the value to 1.

This is an unsupported configuration and may cause an unusable interface.

  • revolve 810 will not in tablet mode

I have a HP revolve 810 G1 which won't in tablet mode.   Someone at - it ideas why this would be or if it's just a setting that should be adjusted?

Thanks for your reply, but the problem seems to be updates BIOS F.47 day & 8.1 of Windows that have been installed.  I found some messages from users having the same problem and when I went down the BIOS to version F.44, when everything started to work.  I hope HP fixes this problem with the next update of the BIOS.

  • Portege Z20t-C-121 screen does not automatically turn into tablet mode

    Hello

We bought a Portege Z20t-C-121 to test as a replacement for some of our leaders. I have built with Windows 10 company and installed all the drivers latest on the Toshiba site. A WiFi Intel driver did not work properly so I downloaded and installed from the Intel Web site.

The only thing that I can't work seems to be the automatic rotation of the screen; When I dock the screen to use as a Windows Tablet detects this and goes into tablet mode, but however I turn the screen remains in the same landscape as it was when it was docked.

Name of the operating system: Microsoft Windows Enterprise 10
    OS version: 10.0.10586 n/a build 10586

Can someone tell me what I need to do to get this feature works please?

Have you installed the drivers Win8 or Win10?

Have you installed the driver system of Toshiba and Toshiba system settings?

  • Satellite R10-101: touch screen does not work in tablet mode

    Hello

    I just bought a Satellite R10-101 laptop / tablet.

The machine didn't come with a stylus, so I'm not sure if the touchscreen works or not.

When the machine is in tablet mode touch screen is unresponsive to a contact with a finger. I tried a pointing device of a Windows CE handheld that has a touch screen, but it does not work on the touch screen of the R10.

The touchscreen should be enabled or that I have to get a Toshiba stylus?

The computer is running Windows XP Tablet Edition. Will I get the same functionally if I update to Windows 7. Material of the R10 is compatible with Win 7?

Thank you for any help or advice.

    Hello

The display panel works as a touch sensitive digitizer screen.
You need the stylus to use the touch screen in tablet mode.

I think you can order the stylus lack of authorized partner Toshiba in your country or google for part numbers: P000407550 or P000445420

  • Spectrex360: Tablet Mode works only with windows 10

given that I've upgraded to windows 10 revolution to Tablet mode does not work. The screen is not rotating, and the keyboard is still active.

    @Enginestechie,

Thanks for posting back.  I understand the frustration.  However, the laptop has been designed with an operating system in mind and when you migrate to another OS, there are always bumps on the road, and this has been the case forever.  Keep an eye on the site of hp for updates and versions for Windows 10 assistance.

Thanks again for the post and have a great day.

  • Portege M200 detects not in tablet mode

I just got my M200 return of warranty repair, where it had its motherboard replaced. He seems to have acquired the accelerometer utilities and functionality of motion detection, which either were not there or I wasn't aware of before (he had a clean rebuild several times, and I was never invited to calibrate this utility). However, it seems more to be able to detect its current mode of operation - that is, it is no longer the screen automatically rotates when I switch to Tablet mode, and when I put features such as Tablet Access Code to work in tablet mode, they don't work at all no matter what mode.

Also, I just checked the power settings, and nothing happens when the lid is closed, regardless of the setting here. The machine continues to operate, and I see that the backlight is always on, shining out of the closed case.

It seems to me as they neglected to connect the lid close button, which I guess would be she realizes how it went in tablet mode, as well as when to turn off the backlight etc. for a lid close. I tried pressing the cover independently close button and nothing happens. I suspect it's going to be an another money-back guarantee, but nobody knows what I might be missing?

    Can someone advise?

    Hello Tim

On your device, there are too many different problems, and it must be checked properly. I know that you may want to solve the easier way, but I believe that without service partner there is no much to do. Please contact them and ask for complete verification.

They should use the factory settings and test everything, especially compressed usage mode.

  • Portege M700 - spin button does not not in Tablet Mode

I have a Portege M700 and the spin button does more work when I turn in tablet mode.
It works when it in portable mode.

I have the rotation utility of going to secondary landscape and its switching is more and the button on the front of the screen won't it be more.
I can go into the rotation software and turn it manually.

Any suggestions on how to get the button works again?

Oh and I'm under Vista business with SP 2.

    Any help would be appreciated.

If you rotate the portable unit, the screen automatically rotates using the accelerometer?

  • Portege M200: the screen is blank when you switch to Tablet mode

    Hello.

Have a problem with my Portege M200 and after hours of searching for a solution, I'm still at a complete loss as to how to fix it.

Essentially, when you attempt to switch to Tablet mode - or if I press the button cover closed 'sensor' on the far right, which is essentially the same thing: the screen goes black.

This means that I can not in tablet mode at all.

What happens across multiple operating systems and will happen even before that an operating system has started. Of course, I checked that when in Windows, the option "When I close the lid" is set to do nothing and I even checked for any cable setting in bios but saw nothing relevant.

As far as I know this has only started happening since I sent it for repair with toshiba a month or two back (motherboard has been replaced I think).

No way to control it via software or am I'm going to have to send it for repair again?

    > Like as far as I know that this has only started happening since I sent for repair with Toshiba a couple months back (motherboard has been replaced I think). Anyway to control this via software or am I'm going to have to send it for repair again?

You description, it looks more like a hardware problem as a problem of software because this happens before an operating system has started. That's why I would exclude a software problem.

In your case I would recommend you to contact the ASP again and explain the whole situation with your laptop.

    Good luck

  • Tecra M4 tablet mode problem

I have a Tecra M4 which is about 4 weeks. All of a sudden (without changing any settings or install new software) it will not now go into tablet mode. When I turn the screen and click it down, it turns off and by connecting an external monitor, I discovered that he thinks that I closed the lid upright and it won't Hibernate.
I checked all the settings of the software that might. According to me, that must be a hardware fault in the switch is signalling a closing lid instead of an operation in tablet mode.
I called Technical Support, but the guy was not able to offer much help & I was told to try to first update the BIOS later and then restore to the software installed at the factory. It did nothing so far.

Has anyone else seen elsewhere? I guess it's back to Toshiba.

    Hello

Well, it was a good decision to contact the ASP because if there is a hardware fault covered all replacements.
Hope that your machine will not work properly.

    Good bye

  • M200 & Multidock II the external display orientaion is upside in tablet mode

With the Portege M200 and II Mutidock I wanted to log in and use an external monitor, so I could use the M200 to draw/write on Tablet mode everything glancing outside, but little matter I try in screen orientation, one of the screens is backwards is not usable.
It's a feature announced, so I expect there's a way to guide the tablet screen a way while still getting the external monitor to display vertical position?
    Thank you

    Hello

The resolution of this problem is actually very simple. Go to display properties. Then click on the last tab on the right, and then click Advanced. Change the settings for the "second monitor" to "extend my Windows desktop on this monitor. This should fix the problem of the display 2nd upside down. Have a great day.

  • Cover for the keys in Tablet Mode

Is there a blanket I can buy or hack something to hide the keys in tablet mode? Thank you!

    Hey there,

I kind of solved the problem by picking up this sleeve Lenovo Yoga 500 that has stuff and port cutouts, I put the part inside keyboard when you use desktop mode - it leaves not the device fold all the way in tablet mode, but it's great for transport.

Try to find something similar to which is here.
