Xbox live connection
I use a usb modem and internet connection sharing and my xbox cannot connect to Internet when I test it. What should I do?
The stability of your connection depends on how you are connected to the internet. If you say that you use a broadband wireless then it can really fail. A one of the conditions to be connected to xbox live is to have an internet connection broadband. Even if you use the broadband connection will always fail. You may be able to connect in some cases, but the stability of the connection is not guaranteed.

I'm trying to connect my sons Xbox 360 to Xbox Live. We bought a wireless network adapter that connects to the router wireless without any problem. We cannot get a good internet connection.
We tried to follow the directions using the manual DNS settings which seems straight forward. That is to say. Click Start, type cmd, press ENTER. Then at the prompt, type "iconfig/all '."
There is only a single DNS server number listed, but we need someone else to get a connection. Can do us on the PC?

I got an XBOX 360 for Christmas and the Wireless N adapter bought the other day. I ran through the installer, and it connects to my network fine, but not connect to XBOX live. I have currently a router WRT110 with the firmware.05. The router was purchased in April of this year and have had no problem connecting at all. The XBOX comes when I look at my network from any of the computers. I have a lot of devices on the wireless. There are two laptops, Nintendo WII, Lexmark X 6650 all-in-one and three IPod Touch (Gen 3). Laptops are the only ones who are connected all the time. I discovered something last night that I don't know what to do with him. I gave the XBOX a static ip address and still have the same problems. I ran across the logging option and allowed him, then made a full power cycle of my network. I tried to log in again and got the same error. However, I looked at newspapers and newspaper DHCP watch everything get an IP address, but there is no entries listed for the XBOX. I deleted the logs and tried again as always connected while on the router and looked straight after that the test failed and there is still no entries. So, with all that said... what to do now?
I forgot to mention that my network is secured using WPA2-Personal and ASIS (not sure of the spelling but is not one that lists also TKIP... lol)
I stopped everything on my network that had wireless and did a reset of the router. I couldn't still my Xbox to connect. I changed the router Wireless N only and the * beep * connected fine thing! My only problem now is to find my older G wireless router, so I can have everything back up. I hope this helps others.

WIN8 app Pinball Fx 2 falls down after Xbox Live connection on PC
We have two PCs at home; at a time with Windows 8 pro.
We downloaded Pinball Fx 2 of the store. It installed fine.
It is necessary that you connect to a profile from Xbox Live to play.
On the same machine, everything works fine. : open a successful logon and play games without a problem.
On the other PC, the game auto-signes in the Xbox Live profile; and just as it says it is signed, the whole game crashes to the desktop.
No idea what to do to make it work on this x 64 PC with Win Pro 8.
Someone has this specific problem with this game or other type of Xbox Live game?

Thank you.I had this same problem recently too. Couldn't find an answer on the Internet, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Pinball FX2. This solves the problem! And I lost one of my best scores. I hope this helps you too.

Linksys E3000 NAT open Xbox Live settings
Hi all
I recently upgraded my the WRT160n V3 to the E3000 router. I had the port to the front of my old 160n to get my game Xbox Live NAT settings to OPEN. When I switched on the router for the new E3000, my Xbox Live settings are returned to the Medium (medium). I assumed that this would have happened since this is a new installation/router.
Can someone help me configure my E3000 and Xbox Live so I can have my open NAT settings? I only need to configure the Xbox 1. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!
The previous is large enough and generally useless for the configuration of the E3000 to facilitate capacity NAT open xbox live connections. 1 make sure you have a static IP assignment for the xbox an assignment of dhcp for the mac address of the xbox in creating or statically assigning an ip address to the xbox outside the dhcp scope, you set but on the same network / subnet of course. then go to the tab under applications and games and the prior port 3074, single port forwarding, both internal and external, to the IP address of your xbox. Name the rule openNAT or something that you will recognize. put a cheeck in the box to enable the rule and click on save settings to activate. Your xbox should now work without complaint about the need for open NAT xbox live test and gameplay should work just fine.

Hey guys,.
I checked my status on the xbox live for black ops 2 and all said I'm good. So I know that I'm not banned... but I can't play online for only Black Ops 2. I connect to xbox live from the dashboard and then what game to start and go to the multiplayer mode, it then asks me to connect to xbox live, but my profile is grayed out and I can't sign...
