• Slow download on a single computer

  I have 3 laptops.  The first is a HP Pavilion since 2009. Secondly, one is a Toshiba satellite about 2 years. In third place is Lenovo around the age of 8 months.

• Very slow downloads

  Although the DPS status page has no reviews, I feel extremely slow download times. Last update I have a Folio, he has taken about 15 minutes (the folio was consolidated 30MB).   We live in very slow download speeds.  All other computers and devices in the House can stream video without problem.  Speed tests test our laptop Vaio 2009 to 16 Mbps download and 6 Mbit/s upload.  The Dell is the same download speed, but the download speed is 512 Kps!  It's like the beginning of the 1990s with telephone lines.  We called Dell a week ago and they told us to reload the driver for the wifi card.  The suggestion does not and we could not reload the driver and it made it unnecessary to the wireless card.  They sent us a new desktop case and put us together today and got the same results with slow download speed.  Need help with any suggestions that anyone has to correct the problem of download speed.

  We have a new Motorola modem and a new Linksys router.  And as I said, TVs, tablets and other computers work fine.  Maybe it's just a [Admin NOTE: expletives deleted according to the terms of USE] computer?  It's our first Dell and I must admit, we are more than disappointed so far.

• Impossible to install Xcode 8 Beta?

  Whenever I try to install (expand) the beta 8 of Xcode (once the .xip file has finished downloading), I am prompted with this error:

  I tried:

  1. Re-extract the file.
  2. Re-download the file, and then re-extraction.
  3. "Fix" the file.

  None of it worked, and I've not found anything to solve this problem (yet). Help would be very appreciated.

  I put t really know why you are not satisfied with ConfigFree. It is a small and useful for the monitoring of the connections program. You can not use for WLAN or LAN configuration, but you can see all the connections that you use and you have total control over all devices that can be used for different types of connections.

I put t know what WLAN card you have but according to producer WLAN card unit is also pre-installed with WLAN client. You can also use, but WLAN Windows MUST be disabled.

  If this is not the case, see this link on how to upgrade the firmware.

  After the update of the firmware, reset the router by pressing the reset for 20 seconds button.

  Your download speed depends on your wifi. It is generally not as fast for most users as the download speed.

  The problem has been resolved by the recent update for Thunderbird - download speed is now instant - and still is after upgrade to win 10. I can only assume that it was a problem with the previous version of Thunderbird.
