• How can I still photos appear in menu templates?

  I can't get the photos appear in the menu templates in first 11 items, if I drag them or browse out them. I tried 5 photo file formats different and two different models. From what I read online, this is a known bug that has been around since v. 9. How is it possible that a major element of a top-of-the-line video editor still does not work? Is there a fix or a workaround?

  That happened to me once or twice.

  Remove the Adobe Premiere elements Prefs file and, if it does not, remove the whole 11.0 folder in which the Adobe Premiere elements Prefs file exists. What operating system do you use? For now, I'll assume Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64bits.

  and in the 11.0 folder is the Adobe Premiere elements Prefs file that you delete. If this does not work, you delete the whole 11.0 folder in which the Adobe Premiere elements Prefs file exists. Don't forget to work with folder Option show hidden files, folders and disks active so that you can see the full path.

  Please let us know the result. It should work, but if not, we will offer you a different approach to the issue.

  What is the difference when you save a menu as a menu template or a standard menu

  A standard Menu is just a Menu - the PSD.

  A model is for when you have extra movement assets, as a substantive motion, or sound. With the model, you get all the assets of the Motion, rolled into one. If you have active movements and to use these assets (can be changed later, if necessary), you want a model and the EM file.

• Problem of Menu Templates

  Whenever I try to apply a pattern (via the Merge Options or fill), the menu to select the template of shrinks and it got to the point where I can't select what I want from the list. I open the other menu that lists the names of the models, that I downloaded, but I can't see their images. Nobody knows how to help?

  Reset the photoshop preferences seems to solve the problem for most users.

  Press and hold down the Shift + Ctrl + Alt keys right after the beginning of the launch of photoshop
  

  (you must be quick on the same keys just after double-clicking the shortcut to photoshop)

  Keep holding the keys until you get a dialog box asking you if yo want to delete the adobe photoshop settings file

• Menu template title

  I installed just of first CS6 disk and cannot show the menu title correctly.

  New title/title/title based on the model.

  I can't open anything in the position indicated by the arrow.  The model screen changes when it is resized, but whatever happens nothing opens under the red arrow. Also, I guess the little button at the top of the side R/H should do something, but who doesn't either.

  Does anyone have a similar sentence?

  As a work-around, if you want to see what is in the record of marriage, there is a subfolder named 'Hands' and under that several models.  You cannot use the mouse to get to them.  Instead, use the arrow keys on your keyboard.  Select on files as you can see, such as travel.  Then arrow down to marriage, then RIGHT ARROW to open the marriage, then RIGHT ARROW to open the hands.  You can continue right arrow or down arrow to display the models under the hands.

  As an alternative, you can import the CTR files from the folder "Program Files\Adobe\Adobe first Pro CS6\Presets\Templates\Wedding\Hands" on your system.  Once imported, you can duplicate one then change it at your convenience.  It's like starting from a model.

  Yes, you can apply the bug, and I'm sure Adobe will, but in the meantime, you can use the above methods to get the models.

• Missing menu templates?

  Having placed menu marks at strategic points in a 40-minute film, I am creating the disc menu. When I click on create Menus, only Comicbook models appear. I click on "Show all" in the drop down menu, but no model more appears.

  1 is it possible, that I chose to not install the models when I installed the program? (PrE4)

  2. If so, is it possible to add templates from the installation disk without having to reinstall the whole program?

  If starting a download, this ARTICLE should be useful. Note: the link is for 7 PrE, but similar will exist for PrE 8, if that's what you have. Don't know if Adobe has yet download functional content for earlier versions. We could explore the full pre Adobe site.

  If the media, then we should be able to just insert the DVD, and if AutoPlay is enabled, the option to install the business content should appear. If AutoPlay is not enabled for this disc, you can navigate to the files on the DVD to find content/library items.

• How can I create my own DVD for first Elements 7 menu templates

  I'm a software developer. I say this because I want to establish that I am completely able to program the software to a level well beyond the normal "user". I would like to develop my own models of DVD menu for use with first Elements 7. What tools do I need to do?

  More important still, why the PE7 does not support this capability? I ask because the other movie making software I tested provide ways to create DVD menus customized from scratch. (and have more than one default template to customize) I don't mention the name of the competitor for fear of censorship of this entire thread.

  Well, as I said, the amazing DVD Architect Studio is only $39. And you can create almost any kind of DVD menu with it!

  As for the other models of DVD for Premiere Elements, you can download additional content from the same place, you downloaded the trial.

• Need to advise the XML menu

  I am trying to build a XML Driven Drop Down Menu similar to the one detailed in the tutorial in Kirupa.com. The difference is that instead of the menu item taking the user to another site, I want that he launch a SWF in a clip. Basically, what I'm trying to do, is to create a training application where the user clicks on a button (created from the XML file) and it starts a movie in a movie clip. Seems simple, but I couldn't find anything about it. All the tutorials involving XML menus have the URL launch buttons. • ELMO emails - appearing is not in the menu templates Outlook

  I recently needed to reorganize our ELMO groups and folders, so I created a few new folders and groups. However, none of my new folders and groups are appearing in my menu of Outlook models. All new groups have the box checked for Microsoft Outlook.

  Am I missing a crucial step?

  Hi Hugh,.

  If you have set your e-mail groups to use in Outlook, this should automatically push these groups above for the plug-in within the OSM. If you do not see them there, check there emails in these groups. From what I remember, empty groups will not grow until an email was created.

  I can't find any model tree in the menu changes to a model of fill, although reference is made to this in a video tutorial. Where are the models of tree?

  I have the first Elements 9.  I have completed the video and try to use an Adobe model that has a place for a still image.  I imported an and it shows on the computer, but when I burn the DVD there's just a big black box empty.  I tried to make the photo 1000 x 750 pixils and that did not work.  I even tried to use a photoshop file, thinking maybe it was just owner but to no avail.  Between that and the fact that the program is so unstable that it crashes whenever I try to do something, my frustration level is pretty high.  Probably, it crashed almost 20 times just trying to make the video.  Is this normal?  Any help would be appreciated.   You came to the right place. What you described is an old story and a known issue with Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1. The issue is to maintain the background of replacement in the final product DVD VIDEO to DVD disc. The remedy is to apply a background audio in the menu in the customization area of the project (audio either mute or sound file) disc menu.

  Some would hunt down you still image resolution and al. No question.
