You are welcome.

Windows Vista says not genuine after replaced motherboard
I had to replace my motherboard recently, and now Windows Vista said that it not a copy not genuine (although it is). How can I sort this?
If you have changed/improved your motherboard and it's a preinstalled OEM Vista license and that you have not done in collaboration with the computer manufacturer you have cancelled your vista license

Windows 7 Build 7601, now says not genuine after crash
Bought/installed Win7 Pro on my (aging) machine time Jan/Feb & activated product.
After a week away recently, my PC did not boot - just crashed. Last known good configuration did work, catering to the highest point due to a registry restore problem. Anyway, forced the cancellation by renaming config & software in the \system32 folder.
Then machine again, I'm immediately went to Windows update to ensure that it was up-to-date & then had "Windows 7 Build 7601, this copy is not genuine." Had been authorized for about the last 7 months.
Have tried to change the key product & scoring even once again. As well as the uninstall & reinstall it again once, but no change.
I already download Win10 install files when the option popped up; Maybe I should have completed the installation. Although it may have failed.
Anyway, here, is out of the tool of diagnosis of MGA. I hope someone can advise:
Thanks in advance.

GSCI 111108 GMCHSCII spoke with MS support. The representative has essentially kept repeating that the product key was not for home/use; later mentioned he has a license of the company & had been used several times.
However, he had no answer to come as to how is it this had been works well for 8 months & problems have emerged since my start/disk/registry problems.
It takes time for this abuse be detected by Microsoft because it is a Multiple Activation key (a lot of PC have or will have the same problem) that very probably activated too many times (each key has an activation limit)
I also tried to find more information as to where the key was first used / details of other activations (in the case where was my repeated recent attempts during the activation/validation was just suspended); but only repeated representative key is blocked.
They may not know / have a record of when it has been used first.
Y at - it other advice? My Win7 installation has been very recently posted just grab the update Win10 install files; However, I'm guessing that it's probably not worth trying to go down that path right now?
Since you have not a valid Windows 7 key from the upgrade of Windows 10 can install but most probably (but not immediately) detects the invalid key and also go "(Non authentique)."
Of course, if it turns out that I need to splash £100 on a 'get genuine' license then I will - but was hoping to get data confirming the situation [seems that my previous purchase by Amazon will not get any farther].
If this MAK key was purchased by a third party seller to Amazon for their web site at Amazon report. At the very least, they should block / prevent the seller by using their (Amazon) web site.
Or else I'll watch Win8.1 (& get top of what to Win10 update as soon as possible) or Win10 at home; Although I had barely begun to use Win7 XP!
Since you said that you have an aging PC I would stick with Windows 7 (support ends January 14, 2020).
One thing, you can try if you are still interested Windows 10 (after the backup of your important data files is to install Windows 10 via the GWN icon on the taskbar or the media download: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 )
This will tell you at least if Windows 10 fully supports (graphics, Audio, keyboard and mouse, access Internet, etc.) your PC.

SSDT A M I POWERNOWHi Kenj,
This problem may occur if you perform a hardware important change to your computer, such as upgrading the hard disk. If a major hardware change requires activatingWindows once again, you will be notified and will have three days to activate your copy of windows.
Another common cause of failed Windows validation occurs when you try to install on more computers than your license allows. For example, if you have purchased a copy of windows, installed on the PC more than one online validation may fail because the product key has already been used on another computer. Normally, the rule for most windows copies is that only one copy of Windows can be installed on a PC. Go toMicrosoftVolume Licensingto learn what your license allows.
I suggest you refer to the suggestions provided by Andre Da Costa replied on 9 December 2012 in the following link and check out them.
Please answer us on the State of the question to help you further.

Windows 7 says "not genuine".
I recently reinstalled Win7Home on an Asus UX31A from the factory CD. Today Windows says "Windows 7 Build 7602 this copy of Windows is genuine. I tried to launch the MS tool to solve the problem and it does not give me the opportunity to resolve. The tool data below. Any suggestions on how to get my laptop to find out that it is really authentic? I also submitted a support ticket with Asus.

About 2 years ago, I bought a PC. He has worked for the past 2 years without any problem. Until today... suddenly my authentic copy has become non-genuine... well... chatted with taking in charge and told me my copy was an MSDN copy and should be used by developers only.
But my copy on the box said OEM. It a single CD with the hologram encircling it. back of the CD around the inner circle said in Puerto Rico. And the box says made in Singapore... everything seems authentic...So what could be the problem? Microsoft's licenses involved?OK you got your key has changed, but it comes with bad news.

Vista Ultimate OEM says not genuine
I rebooted every way possible, I'm going to blow most likely. I'm not too good on computers. I make things worse. I have what my computer was before someone put vista ultimate on it yet. puter has been giving to me does not. I don't have the money to buy windows install. OMG! It installs are expensive. I want to be able to download the music of musicburn, etc. on this bloody puter. I stop now!
* original title - in addition to copy no genuine windows, he wants to make a legitimate windows sfc-need it please? *
Hello
We cannot give you a legitimate copy of vista
follow these steps to set your computer to how it was when originally made, and everything that was on it before you had vista ultimate installed by 'someone '.
Contact the computer manufacturer and ask them to send you the recovery disc for your model computer reinstall the operating system back as it was when it was new
they do it for a nominal cost of $
also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to how it was when new
you would normally press F10 or F11 or Alt + F10, 0 at startup to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer
Ask them of the exact key sequence

For MSDN keys: -.
MS cannot act until a key hit a threshold (they won't say an outsider that this threshold is, of course). They then put it in the internal systems to ensure that all stakeholders are informed, just in case it was an oversight - then it gets into the queue for the next update of the system. I don't know how many times WAT control system is updated, but I guess that it is not more than once a week because of the admin and synchronization issues. The internal processes of MS could easily take a couple of weeks.
It therefore depends on how near the end of a list of vendors in sale you are and how much time he sells them.
Those cannier sell just enough to stay under the threshold of each product (subs MSDN include a large number of products), until they have maximized profits, then try and flood the market before disappearing into the sunset, responsible for your money. It can take anything up to a year or more.
