Xperia Z2 network notification

As I did the last software update to every time my network is de-energized or comes back I get a vibration on my phone and when the fort, there a ringtone.

It's SO annoying because I live in a region which loses the phone signal a lot so it constantly buzzes.

Someone knows how to turn it off?

You can see this:

https://talk.sonymobile.com/T5/Xperia-Z3/Z4-signal-loss-VIBRATE/m-p/1047432#U1047432

I don't think that there is an option to turn that off.

  • Network notification icon has stopped working

Network notification icon no longer changes when the connection has been established.

    Hi Rob

Sorry about the lack of response in these few days, but I had a bad cold.  However, there are some good news to report.  I don't have the chance to try the suggestions you made, but this morning I received an update from my security software Norton 360 and after installing this update and run some scans (including cleaning registry) in order to ensure that all seemed to agree, my network notification icon now works again!

If the problem has been solved somehow, and I may never know the real cause.  I hope I never have to try to find out again!

Many thanks for your help anyway.

  • Sony Xperia Z3 network double Mobile is not available

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. I have a problem with my phone, that's happened today. When I woke in the morning, I was out of signal. Also contacted the mobile network Sony only to hear, that I need to repair it on PC Companion, but well, I did, people with the same problem and still nothing. If anyone knows anything, please tell me, because I don't know what to do anymore.

  • WINDOWS 7 wireless network Notification icon

I am a consultant of veterans, I favor PCs and laptops for veterinarians with a visual impairment.  Veterans who are blind use software such as JAWS that tell them about everything on their screen as well as the actions they perform with keyboard and mouse.  I ran into a problem with a blind vet recently by which it is impossible to select its icon of wireless notification so that JAWS can inform about what wireless network connections are available and he would also shed its Hotspot connection periodically.  As JAWS informs him of everything on his desk is it possible to have the notification wireless pinned on its desktop icon?  When a sighted person opens to wireless notification icon to display the available wireless network connections, then it can use up and down arrows and JAWS will call the various connections of network for him...

    Thank you

If anyone knows, a notification Wireless Manager or assistant wireless such as the use of HP, I would appreciate any information about another alternative.

    Thanks again

  • 'Open DNS' user - experience network Notification 'Additional log information may be required. Click to open your browser.

What is happening to all 5 of my computers, all Windows 7 since I used Windows Update this AM. The interesting thing is that my Wifi network in my house does not require a "additional log in" and the internet was available. So, the "Additional log in" notification, which appears continually, even after opening a web page, is simply nothing more boring.

Disabling Open DNS seems to fix the problem, but I don't want to turn it off. Looking for an answer to this problem, I found a registry change that solved this problem for someone else. Changing the registry Disenabled the "Active sensor", which is the value of 'Enable Active Probe' fell 1-0. I could do that except that I use Open DNS crypt, who encrypts all communications between the computer and the open DNS, a Wi - Fi security feature servers, and since I use these laptops on Wifi networks in places like McDonalds and Starbucks, I think I need notification Active Probe actually connect to their networks.

    Any ideas or solutions?

    Its for this reason

Open regedit and navigate as follows:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\NlaSvc\Parameters\Internet

    Double-click on EnableActiveProbing

Change the value to 0. This is another site (what follows is OpenDNS). They are aware of this

In order to solve this problem, please log in to the dashboard and select settings. After that, select your network and choose "Customize" in the left menu. You will be taken to a page that you will allow you to toggle enabled "NX domain redirect. Please disable this option.

Then, clear your DNS resolution cache and the cache of the web browser on each device to ensure that your new configuration of DNS settings take effect immediately. Instructions to clear your cache of DNS resolution can be found here: http://www.opendns.com/support/article/68 and instructions to clear the cache of your web browser can be found here: http://www.opendns.com/support/article/67.

  • Network Notification area icon has changed: how to change it back?

Just got a new laptop with Win7 professional about two weeks ago.

All of a sudden, this morning, the notification icon of network for the switched network to the wireless icon - five bars icon wired with a big X red through it (because I am not connected via wired).  When I mouse over the icon it still shows my wireless network name and I have access to the Internet.
I don't know how or why the icon has changed, but I would like to go back to one showing bars wireless.  I searched around and can't find anything on how to do it.
    Help, please?  Thank you!

Thanks for this location.  I don't know if that would fix it, by applying someone suggested another fix before having seen this, it screwed to the top of my notifications area if wrong I just did a system restore and that did the trick.  So, I'll keep my eye on it.

  • Network notification icon does not not for left click.

Hi all. All of a sudden my icon in the notification area network connection seems to be insensitive to the left click. This must, of course, open the "currently signed to" connect/disconnect menu type, IE: http://i.technet.microsoft.com/ff847520.Davies.CG.0710.Fig1(en-us,MSDN.10).jpg

Here are a few things I checked:

    • Left click works on other icons.
    • Right-click on the icon (which works), go to network and sharing Center and clicking 'connect or disconnect' works by triggering the appropriate menu.
    • Icon from disabling and re-enabling it.
    • Apart from this the icon looks in good condition, and all my network seems to be good too.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi Keith d.c,

Put the computer in safe mode with network and see if the problem persists:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

If the problem is not repeated in safe mode, there is probably a startup item or service is causing the problem. Follow the steps on the following link to locate the item or service is causing the issue:

  • Print network notification

I print Server 2003 r2 customer servers XP and Windows 7.  On server 1 my Windows 7 clients get the system tray notification that the document was sent to the printer, but my XP clients only.  Artwork for all customers.  On server 2, I get notification on all clients.  If I open the printers and faxes on a XP client window, printers on server 1 indicate the status of 'openness' and printers on server 2 show a status of "ready".  Once I have send a job to a printer server 1 all printers have a status of "ready".  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

Your question of Windows is more complex than what is generally answered in the Microsoft Answers forums. It is better suited for the public on the TechNet site. Please post your question in the below link: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-us/category/windowsserver

  • Hide popup network for system SMS notification

    Hi all

I develop an application that receives occasional notifications from a remote server via SMS. To avoid these notifications appear in the Inbox that I am following the steps described in http://www.blackberry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/348583/800451/800563/How_To... _ for sending SMS system.

The good thing is that the SMS notification are not are stored in the Inbox. The bad thing, however, is that the user receives an sms flash (called notification network) for every SMS received from the remote server notification:
    http://PostImage.org/image/2t9509qp0/

Is it possible to hide/avoid these network notification popups because they annoy the hell out of our users.

    Thank you
    Sy

PS: Tested on device: BlackBerry 9700, OS: 5.0.0.734, JDE: Java plug-in for Eclipse V 1.3.0

The format of your SMS message seems incorrect.

A class 0 SMS message will display the prompt see you and do not appear in the Inbox.

A SMS message from type 0 does not any command prompt and not to see the place in the Inbox.

Knowledge base article shows the format of an SMS type 0.

  • Notification-17205: access denied

    Hi all

I have trouble using the network notification.

We use TestStand 2012 on 64 bit of Windows 7 computers.

Our sequences work well for the original installation of computers: a computer that creates and sets the notification and a five other computers that access the notification on the network using the notification name------------.

Now we have an installer copy: computers are configured by cloning the original computer images. But access to the notification no longer works (Yes, we have changed the name of the computer as a result), instead, we get the error message mentioned on access denied.

I assume this has something to do with Windows access rights, but I have no idea where to check the correct settings or even what the correct settings are. Is anyone know something about the requirements for the use of notifications on the network? What are my rights at correct?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Stefan

OK, problem solved - it was the DCOM settings...

The correct settings can be found in this thread:

    http://forums.NI.com/T5/NI-TestStand/sharing-a-string-by-a-queue-from-execution-to-execution-on/m-p/...

In fact, I had to apply the DCOM settings, not the computer, on which the notification is created, only computers accessing the notification.

And, finallly, as a note, without the correct DCOM settings, the GetStatus() worked in any case, only the Wait() operation resulted in the access denied error.

  • Push notifications don't work properly

Hello! Ive had a problem with my notifications push on incoming messages in Whats App, Hangouts, messaging applications.
I get no notification either when z3 is in "sleep" or active. Moreover, I only receive new messages when I open a respective application. Even if I have it running but not active at the moment, I don't get notifications unless I have switxh to the app and check a cat or an Inbox manually. Please help solve the problem.

In this case, there could be a problem with your APN settings. See the following:

  • Z3 wifi to drop the question, im a new user of android.

    Hi all

So ive just moved to android to iOS. But in any case in the quick settings on my z3 my wifi is turned on. When im connected to a wifi network, the phone works perfectly.

My problem is that the wifi turns off all alone when I leave my house or work. that is when im not connected to wifi and im out he died. Now my question is this normal? After some tests, I noticed the problem is intermittent and it turns on and off everynow and then when im not connected to wifi.

Coming from an engineering background, I would initially suspicious, it's a fault with the wifi chip, but I don't want to jump immediately.

    My settings are:

    Network notification: we (ticked)

Keep wifi on during sleep: always

Scanning always available: Off (not checked)

    Avoid bad connections: on

    rest is standard.

    Any help would be appreciated
