  I couldn't take it any longer using Windows 8.   I installed 7 Pro 64 on this machine, only to find HP doesn't provide drivers for 7 for this particular model.

  I'm back with some questions more. I've had these gels on my computer for a while now, and they are somewhat fixed thanks to wonderful people here. But I still seem to have some problems. Once I have updated on my windows update, I need to download the appropriate drivers to make my computer run better, which seems to create problems for me. When I installed Avast! ware antivirus, I started meeting with gel on my internet browsers again. I just reinstalled windows 7 (4th time today), and I out to clean my registry. I have this program called Driver Genius, who downloads the drivers in need of my computer, but this seems to be freezing my computer as well. I have a dell xps l702x i5 @ 2.40 GHz, 8 GB of RAM. The guy at dell didn't help me a lot, so I hope you fine people can!

  Having the latest drivers would be nice, but its different for laptops. Motorists need to be customized for the features of the laptop, and they probably need to go through quality control, testing too although I guess.

  However there may be a solution, you can try to install the drivers later on newer models such as the Tecra A10 and M10 :)
