• Y510p little memory so that Idle

  On my Y510p I get low memory warnings weather im playing a game or just at idle or on youtbe. When I open the Task Manager it says my memory is at 70%-100% WHILE the idling, but programs don't use this as a memory of 25 to 40% if something is hidden. Just looking for a solution or allocate more memory for Windows. I have a 8 GB system.

  I was able to find NVTMRU, which is for GeForce experience, do not know if this is what you see and where it points to your laptop.

  Since I bought my lenovo Y510P SLI, I had a problem.

  When I watch a film/youtube clip/play a game on my logitech keyboard, I had a problem with performance.

  After 3 or 4 minutes my movie/game begin to freeze like a kind of energy saver turnes on.

  I don't know what could be the problem.

  I put my laptop in ultra-high performance via lenovo energy management.

  I also checked the settings of the windows power management tool and everything seems fine.

  I don't have a problem with my lenovo G550 I bought 5 years ago.

  Currently, I have only 128GB SSD inside my laptop and from time to time I connect external drive.

  Please let know us what I could do.

  About 2 weeks ago, I bought a Lenovo ideapad y510p laptop with graphics 750 m SLI. The first thing I did was to remove the excess of bloatware that comes with the laptop and have had a very positive experience with the machine together.

I tried to adjust the Power Options in the control panel to allow the computer to stay awake for as long as an hour plugged and 15 minutes on the battery, but the laptop still go to sleep after having been slowed for only 60 seconds.   Apparently my problem disappeared!

  It is dificult for me indicate exactly what measures or combination of steps worked for me, but after selecting the option 'balanced' in the power settings and adjust that power to my taste options, my cell phone is always placed in standby mode after one minute ("sleep" mode had been established at 30 minutes). I have re-uploaded Lenovos "Energy management" utility and set the settings to my liking and also installed a windows update. After a system reset, it seems that I have total control over my settings of power once more!

  I don't know if the solution lies in the update of windows, the system restarts or management utility power, but one or more of the following has solved my problem. I hope someone out there finds this helpful thread!

  There is no suspect. This is a feature of IMAP.

  Why you use something totally inappropriate, and then go very far to do what it is not designed to do. Why not just use POP?

  I just downloaded and installed Python 3.5.  So far, I have had problems using it the Terminal. However, the installation creates a folder in the Applications folder, and it contains among others:

  I've been using BBEdit and terminal to learn python, but I want to use IDLE, mainly to the size of the small window, when you work in python online tutorial.

  I saw warnings about the problems with the default value, already installed Tk 8.5 and followed the link to download and install Tk 8.6.

  Before and after I installed Tk 8.6, I get this warning when I open the market to SLOW:

  It seems that with all positions, open up a bigger and bigger can-o-worms.

  All these software are designed for a world of Linux. The user just goes ' yum... something...» ' or 'apt - get... .quelquechose else... "to install the software or update a version provided by the system. Sometimes it works, and sometimes, the user must go back and install a more recent, or longer, version of Ubuntu/Centos etc for all workers.

  There is a way of 'old school' more - you can install the software from source. Somehow really old-school, people used to actually install test built more recent versions, but in custom locations just to test. Few people do that. Few people know even how to build more.

  But if you want to use this software on a Mac, you need one of these strategies. You can go on the road with MacPorts package manager, Fink or now Homebrew and simply type «... BREW something...» ». OS X won't let you replace the versions of the system, so that option is on the table. But it's fine because who would break probably of stuff. But you can always install from source and select exactly what versions of the software you want to build with. Don't get me wrong - it is not easy. In fact, it is very difficult. Each project has a different construction system. Each is designed for Linux, with Mac users in a shot at best, but more often a nonthought. In the end, it's not so much software building as creatively hacking. I did this at work. It took me two weeks to get the entire system built GDAL, with postreSQL, a custom Python, etc. Ideally, you should do this for any software open-source that you build on the Mac. Never use Apple system software provided for what it is, unless you have no option. Apple IS NOT test such things. Apple crowd from all the trials and it is your job, not theirs.   It may be that Windows requires the XP installation CD. I'm sure you would find a solution if you post the question in a Windows OS forum.

  I see that you are getting a message "that there is no link. I can help you.

  Check the connections, if you are using a USB cable.

  Try a different USB cable, if you have one available.

  Fix permissions of the drive on the Mac:

  Close all applications.

  In the Apple menu, click OK, click Applications, and then click utilities.

  Double-click disk utility.

  Highlight your hard drive / partition on the left.

  Click on check and then repair disk permissions.

  Restart the computer...

  Reset the printing system:

  Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer deleted can be re-added later by clicking the sign plus (+) symbol.

  Click the Apple icon, and then click System Preferences.

  Click on printers and scanners.

  Make a right click (or Ctrl + click) in the left white side panel, and then click Reset printing system.

  Click OK to confirm the reset.

  Type the name and the correct password.

  Click OK to reset the printing system.

  Then click on the + sign to add the driver, you may need to click the drop down menu to select the name of the printer, and then click the Add button.

  Test the printer again.

  I want 110 e - everything - in - a D411a - currently, print all the pages of my iMac (OSX El Capitan - v 10.11.6) test, but the printer shows as inactive when I try to print documents or emails etc.

  Loading the latest version of the software and drivers, but without success.

  Any guidance appreciated.

  I understand that you can't print from iMac running to your craving for 110 El Capitan. In General, idle indicates that the printer is ready and waiting for a print job. Given the efforts that you have already done, I recommend resetting your printing system, repair disk permissions and then re-adding the printer (instructions to follow). If this resolves the issue please click Accept as Solution button below; If not, let me know and I will do everything I can to help.

  Reset the printing system

  1. Click on the Apple icon and then click on System Preferences.
  2. In the hardware section, click on Printers and Fax/Scan. The Print & Fax/Scan dialog box opens.
  3. Do a right click (or Ctrl + click) in the left panel and then click on reset printing system...
  4. Click OK to confirm the reset.
  5. Type the name and the correct password.
  6. Click OK to reset the printing system. The printers and Faxes dialog box shows any selected printer

  Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer deleted can be re-added later by clicking the sign plus (+) symbol.

  Repair disk permissions

  • Click on your desktop so that it is written next to the Apple Finder icon, and then click OK (you will see this next to the Finder after file, edit and view).
  • Under Go, click Applications.
  • In Applications, select utilities.
  • In the Utilities folder, you will see disk utility, double-click on this icon to open the disc utilities.
  • Click on your hard drive, and then click first aid. Click OK to allow it to run.

  Once the repair is completed, restart the computer and add the printer to the back.

  When you add the printer, please ensure that you use the HP driver.

  1. Select Add another printer or Scanner
  2. Select the printer you are adding and next to the 'use' select the printer driver. As you can see from the image below, AirPrint driver will be automatically selected by default. You will need to choose your printer driver instead. Using the HP driver will help to isolate the problem, if the problem persists.

  I just got my new computer a week.  I did not now, McAfee has been installed to work.

  Since I've had a full year of Norton Internet Security, I downloaded and installed.

  Sorry for the inconvenience caused. It is a known fact that running 2 different programs of security with real-time protection can result in conflicts between them and can cause performance problems. It is therefore recommended to use the real-time protection that one at a time, but you can use everything on demand scanner/security, if you are too preoccupied with the help of a single security program. There is a removal tool in the Mcafee web site that can help you to uninstall the program completely. You can try to use it. Then download and run Norton Removal tool: http://www.norton.com/symnrt and reinstall Norton from your account. Let me know how it goes.

  However I started a day game and the game crashed after about 20 minutes and the laptop, said the CPU is overheating, it seemed rather strange because I was running this game before it was working fine, I noticed that the CPU temperature is always 50% even in idle state, the fan is always jumping from 50% to 100% (every 2-3 seconds) as well in idle state.

  What model of laptop do you have exactly?
  What system do you use?
  What exactly do you mean by power of LAN?

  I can tell you that the cooling modules are controlled by fan table stored in the BIOS.
  Usually, the fan starts to spin if the CPU would be responsible for some unique applications/processes. It would also be possible that your fan is running continuously with low performance to maintain the low temperature. This isn't a real problem for laptop.

  This sounds like a problem in the router settings (internet box)!
  My router supports an option that seems very similar to you time-out problem!

  If this option is enabled router disconnect after several minutes (this depends on the settings) if the internet connection is no longer necessary!

  I think you should check the router options!
