Y560p video momentary Intermittent crashes / gel

Hello

I recently bought this laptop because he seemed to have good reviews. It runs fast and efficient, everything was great!

Then I went on youtube to watch a video, and I experienced something terrible. The video would make the entire computer to hang on for a second or two, then it would continue as nothing happened. It seems to this randomly, in all directions. When I try to watch HD video on youtube the problem worsens. During the freeze, the computer crashes, the sound that played nervous and the screen freezes.

I've updated the graphics card driver via the ATI Web site, but it didn't solve the problem. I've also updated flash player, nothing helps.

I wonder if it has something to do with the recall of Intel Chipset that has been issued. The sticker on the back indicates that the laptop was made on 02/04/2011 but when I read the sticky on the subject I've had the same chipset in my device manager.

Have you recently added any hardware? Have you updated any drivers just before this started? (Check
Panel configuration-updates of Windows to see if all drivers have been updated it there all the time it started)
Main likely culprits are video driver, other great drivers, memory and antivirus/antispyware/security
products could be at fault as well as reader questions.

Use the troubleshooter above for pilots and memory.

    BCCode: 50 0 x 00000050

    Cause

The BCCode 50 usually occurs after the installation of the installation of a faulty material or failure of
material (usually associated with defective RAM, either main memory, L2 RAM or RAM video cache).

Another common cause is a defective system service installation.

Antivirus software can also trigger this error, as can a corrupted NTFS volume.

    Solve the problem

Solve a defective hardware problem: If the material has been added to the system recently, remove it to see
If the error recurs. If the hardware failure existing, remove or replace the faulty component. You must run
Diagnostics of material provided by the manufacturer of the system. For more information about these procedures, see the owner
    Manual for your computer.

Fix a defective system service: Disable the service and confirm that this resolves the error. If so,.
Contact the manufacturer of the system service on a possible update. If the error occurs during the system
startup, restart your computer, and then press F8 at the menu character mode that displays the operating system
choice. In the Windows Advanced Options menu that results, select thelast known good Configuration
option. This option is most effective when a pilot or a service is added at a time.

Solve a problem of antivirus software: Disable the program and confirm that this resolves the error. If she
is the case, contact the manufacturer of the program about a possible update.

Fix a corrupted NTFS volume: Run Chkdsk /f /r to detect and repair disk errors. You must
Restart the system before the start of the analysis of disk on a system partition. If the SCSI hard disk, check for
problems between the SCSI controller and the drive.

Finally, check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help identify the
device or the driver that generated the error. Disable the cache in memory of the BIOS might also resolve it.

When you open the video files that display thumbnails, the codec is used to create the thumbnail for the videos it decodes. A work around for this is to change the display of files of other tiles. You can try to reinstall your codecs or download other codecs, do a google search and download only from trusted sites. You might have added new video file formats, and you need the codec for this video format.

    Hello Yuigg,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Community Forum.

Your computer stop only during playback of a video or Windows Media Player?
You get errors or just a hang or freeze?
It really sounds like a driver problem.

NVIDIA has a new driver from 3 March, do not know if you have it.
    http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x64_182.08_whql.html
If you do not have this version, please download and install the current version of the driver.

If you already have the current version, it would be more useful to run a boot for
see if there are any third-party software or programs that may interfere.

Follow the steps outlined in the article below to see if we can determine if there is a problem with other programs.

  • Satellite L850 - Intermittent crashing with BSOD

My Satellite L850-1LK crashes with the following error message intermittently: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (athw8x.sys). An online search in some other forums suggested that I should update the driver for my Atheros wireless network adapter. I did - including uninstall it completely before reinstalling with the driver downloaded from Toshiba's own site.

I always get the BSOD, so any other suggestions would be appreciated. (I'm under 64-bit Windows 8)

    Hello

What version of driver and what version of BIOS that you use?

I had the same problem but not with the Toshiba laptop.
I discovered that the installed McAfee utility causes the BSOD.
I suggest that you remove and replace with another software antivirus like Avast! or Avira antivir.
Both are free and can be downloaded for free.

But of course I updated the Atheros Wlan driver too!
You must remove the driver and uninstall the driver properly package.
This can be done in Device Manager!
Then clean the operating system using CCleaner!
Reactivate the wireless lan, then install the latest driver.
Previous updates must have replaced only part of the package of driver causing the problem.

  • Aspire V17 Nitro black GTX860, video driver keeps crashing / locking PC

    Hello to all and Hello,

My laptop keeps either crashing the video driver and windows gives a message saying that he was able to recover (rarely it actually retrieves), normally it crashes my PC (mouse would start dragging slowly and then just stop) then everything crashes completely. I had to put it all to use the onboard graphics rather than the Nvidia GPU. I updated on my updates to windows with Windows 8.1 and when it started first of all, I was using the latest nvidia drivers, but he started that past so often that I went back 2 versions of the pilot and it was ok for about a week, but then started happening again yesterday. It happened once more this morning, fortunately it didn't shut up, but I got the error saying windows he recovered.

I'm on an Acer Aspire V17 Nitro Black Edition, i7 4710HQ, 16 GB ram, GTX860M GPU, 359.06 driver version. Anyone have any ideas? The only thing that so far I've ever seen in the cases where display with regard to what is at all since this morning, and it was only a warning saying "display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered." ID #4101. Since I've already tried 3 different display drivers, I'm at a loss for anything else to try. Someone at - it similar problems?

    Thank you!

    Dan

Same error as I face before but I have a solution in this forum, but now I could not someone help please.

I know its something like that when Explorer attempt to generate the preview of this video file, then it happened.

It is indeed a problem with the preview generator.  It relies on any installed video codecs installed on your system to process video images and build a miniature.  If you have recently installed a video or multimedia software, you can try to uninstall it, or by using the system restore to roll back.

Similarly, you can try to install different software.  The K-Lite Mega Codec pack has been around for a while and is quite popular.  After you install, your system can play almost any file (sweet bonus tip: media player uses codecs found so: after installing it, you can even play Real Audio or QuickTime files inside Windows Media Player).

  • Format options for AE CS3 - Adobe Flash Video - causes the crash

As the title States. I see so many people say Adobe Flash Video is the way to go for export options still AE always crashes on me when I choose it is-Options of Format (output module in the render queue).

I use Flash all the time and it works fine but since I can't access format options FLV of AE. Whenever I press on it AE crashes everything.

It's one of the things Adobe just never fixed in CS3? I don't bother to read reviews saying to use anything else to make it. This is not what I am asking so save. I created a simple object in AE and I just want to see what it looks like with FLV export. AVI seems good but looks like everyone said it would be better as FLV. Given that I can't access the options of format to FLV is the worst option and unclear, which leads me to believe he was one of those things Adobe just abonded in CS3.

I searched and found nothing. I will continue my research, but the choice of Adobe for the format of forum could not be slower. If Adobe can answer this question, perhaps I can shed some light on the economies of its members an agony and teach them some PHP. It's rediculously slow and my worst forum puts it to shame.

The implementation of FLV in CS3 left a lot to be desired and video Flash - both FLV and much F4V the best and the most recent- are much better in CS4 and later versions. (Don't forget that Adobe acquired Macromedia just before CS3 came out, so it was not a lot of time to get solid integration.)

If you can, I recommend using something later than After Effects CS3 for Flash video output.

  • When you watch videos on youtube or try to Watch Tv shows video stops and crashes often?

When trying to watch videos like on youtube or Tv shows videos stop and stall.  Also his cuts in and out.

It will be because the information can't come down from your internet connection fast enough for you to watch in real time.
    You can;
Press pause, give the video time stamp and then press play - the time between each pressure depends on the duration of the video and the quality this is the case, the longer period is better.
Download the video to your hard drive and then watch
