  Try each of them in order. A test to see if the computer works properly:

  Hello. I'm having a problem with Excel crashing, freezing when using the spreadsheet. I work on a PC with WINDOWS 7 SP1 64-bit, through a server that is running Microsoft SERVER 2013, WINDOWS 7 PRO 64 BIT SP1. We use 5 PC via all current server running the same version of operating system that use the spreadsheet and in most is used only by 3 PCs anywhere, anytime, even if EXCEL is not on the server, it is running locally on the PC.

  My guy TI tell me the spreadsheet while working on too big to 2 k! They keep asking us to reduce the size and to separate the workbook to solve the problem. Personally I don't believe a Word, we do not use formulas etc just cells with digital text and the alphabet.

  Now last year on the advice of our computer SCIENCE company, we have been advised to upgrade our server and our PC because terminals that they were getting their limit of operation which I accepted. These have been updates middle of last year.

  On this basis, I believe that society COMPUTER trying to throw dust on my eyes as I do not think that they provided the wrong material and are unwilling to admit it.

  Counsel on the question worksheet would be great I need to come back with some kind of evidence in support of my way of thinking.

• Firefox will crash/freeze constantly and reset to the default values

  For the last few weeks, I had a lot of problems with Firefox crashing. Whenever I try to open a new tab or load a web page, it will freeze. Sometimes, it's only for a few minutes, while other times it lasts up to an hour, and I have no choice but to close the program using the Task Manager, as any attempt to close normally fail. Is most common in the first few minutes after I run Firefox, and the program has been slow on this subject for a while, but usable after waiting a few minutes to load completely.   I have laptop Satellite Pro U200, once by accident, it fell out of my backpack.
  Then after, I pressed on IT Windows key is not started, even though I could hear the hard drive makes a noise.
  I got my computer to Toshiba repair service.

  It was very funny so I explained the problem to repair the assistant and after he pressed windows button started working as nothing really happened.
  After some time I noticed that sometimes Windows everything freezes, as stop and that's all I can not move my mouse, keyboard does not (Ctrl + Alt + Delete included) all that I can do is hold OFF the button for everything and restart Windows...

• Finder crashes / freezes when I'm online

  Last week, my Finder acted very funny.  Frequently, it crashes and freezes after several minutes of passage to other windows or change of icon displayed in the list view, etc..  At first, I thought that the icon display was more 'stable', but not sure at 100%.  Also, it looks like that when I am offline accidents don't happen as much or at all.  Tried to dump the preferences already (finder prefs and sidebar pref), nothing helps.

  

  I posted the console logs here.  OS X release 10.9.5 (last updated the week last of 10.9.4, so that might have something to do with it?), 2.6 GHz Intel Core i5, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM.  MacBook Pro 2013.  Please help - thanks.

  Try a reboot.

  Make a backup using Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure that data files can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.

  Try to set up another admin user account to see if the same problem persists. If back to my Mac is enabled in system preferences, the guest account will not work. The intention is to see if it is specific to an account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.

  Isolate a problem by using a different user account

  If the problem is still there, try to start safe mode using your usual account.  Disconnect all devices except those necessary for the test. Shut down the computer and then put it up after a 10 second wait. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the SHIFT key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. Startup is considerably slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a check for directory and disables all start-up and connection, among other things. When you restart normally, the initial restart may be slower than normal. If the system is operating normally, there may be 3rd party applications that pose a problem. Try to delete/disable the third-party applications after a reboot using the UN-Installer. For each disable/remove, you need to restart if you do them all at once.

• PRS - T1 crashing, freezing and touch screen problems

  I get a LOT of crashes and freezes using the PRS - T1. Sometimes the embedded player software wants to close, at other times, the touch screen is going to die, and I then have to do a reset. Yes, I fully charged the unit before using it. It is VERY annoying. The drive crashed probably 10 times in the last 2 days.

  Mine was too much. I bought it at Best Buy. When he started to act up, I contacted Sony & was told to return it to the store I did. But the replacement does the same thing. After contacting Sony again, I'm now supposed to get a new directly from Sony. He was supposed to be here today, but will probably happen tomorrow for sure.   So I had no problem with my Y580 I got, but with all things technology, something is bound to screw up whatever happens because it's technology.

  I was playig Mirror just for fun and without reason Edge and have been without problems, when he just stopped in the middle of everything and was the new idea of Microsoft to a blue screen of death with a little sad face (because I'm sure that's what companies want to see when they lose they work).   These kinds of things have been going on for some time. I get these kinds of things around once a week or more. Today video glitching presented, so I think it's time to do something.

  Run the extended Apple hardware test today after the video glitching (I video iPhone if it's useful). The test revealed no problem.

  Things that seem to trigger these problems: a lot of scrolling, video playback, audio playing. I tend to keep at least 50 Chrome open tabs. But I have disabled Flash in all browsers. Accidents may be more likely to occur when the machine is heated a lot of treatment - usually too many tabs in chrome that causing.

  Then I would look for advice on how best to do that said the person of genius bar - wipe the drive and reinstall. This user is ongoing for a long time. OS 7 maybe?   as many times these problems are caused by part 3, additions like anti-virus, Mac cleaners and cleaners for memory (all useless, but people always install).

• NVIDIA Y580 crash

  Every few hours the video card from Nvidia will stop recognized on my Y580. The driver will say that there is no Nvidia GPU and Device Manager will have Standard VGA Graphics Adapter instead of Nvidia. This disappears when I restart, but it is very annoying. Does anyone else have this problem? All I can do to prevent it? I am tempted to default of Nvidia in the BIOS, is there something wrong with that? Temperature and/or power may concern?

  My Nvidia drivers are already the latest version of lenovo (my laptop came with these installed) and so far I have not changed anything in the BIOS. It seems I found the cause of the accident, I was running GPU observer gadget and once I removed that desktop crashes stopped, so I guess it has something to do with this gadget.

  I have a HP Pavilion Media Center m8200n.  I ran Windows 8 long and began to love him.  Then I downloaded the 8.1 Overview and who liked much better.  Now, I'm trying to upgrade to 8.1 Windows and nothing I did worked.  In order to upgrade to 8.1, I reinstalled my original version 8.0, updated and downloaded 8.1.  I'm in the whole process until the first "reboot", and then I got the message that Windows should return to Windows 8.0.  Since then, the computer will freeze, crash or stop.  I never got after installing 8.0 Windows again.  Yesterday, I reinstalled 8.0 (for the umpteenth time) and downloaded all updates 70 +.  After installation of the 8.0 Windows Update, I received the message: "Failure of configuration of the Windows restore changes updates do not turn off your computer" very discouraging.

  OK, I'm almost certain that it is a hardware problem; probably in the hard drive (because that's what I read form similar problems online).

  I have a Dell XPS m1330 laptop computer, 2 GB of Ram, Vista Home Premium, 2.2 GHz processor, Nvidia G8400 MS with 128 MB allocated.

• YouTube crashes, freezes Firefox

  Hey guys, can someone tell me why youtube freezes (freezing/hanging) firefox? Whenever I go to him, he immediately firefox blocked.  No problem whatsoever in the only firefox IE.  I reinstalled it. Firefox and Flash Player repeatedly.  The best I can get is a unique feature after a new installation of Flash player. After the uninstal/reinstall, I can I pull up to youtube, and it works as long as I'm on the youtube page or too long my browser is open.  But once I close my browser and return to a youtube page, a new it immeditately crashes.  The only thing I can do is to close firefox via the Task Manager.  I also tried disabling the acceleration of the reduction. But behaves essentially the same.

  Anyone know what is goin here and how to fix it?

  Xircal, thanks for the info.  Think I finally thought to it however.  Make a long story short, the toolbar ZA (community or safety, I uninstalled them both) is incompatible with FF when Flash Player is installed and pulling up a youtube page.  Once I uninstalled FF, and Flash Player and Zone Alarm (without toolbars) worked like a charm.
