Yoga 3-1170 - broken andtouch USB screen

Hi all

I had a problem with my Yoga 3 11 "." A windows update a few weeks ago, completely beaten down on the touchscreen and USB devices. This means that my touch screen no longer works and no USB device gets acknoledged, though (even if they get the power).

Windows help remained to restore my system back solves the problem, but every time the updates of windows, press USB and screen break it again.

I have Windows 10 and I also tried to install windws 10 for the chipset drivers but nothing is done, this laptop is simply not work with the latest update of windows.

I contacted the support who suggested as something first and fast to try to simply wioe down my laptop... I won't as it is silly.

Everyone knows this problem and have a professional solution (different from the non professional offered by lenovo support)?

The function touchscreen (digitizer) connects as a device separated via a USB hub. It is completely separated from the video. It works a lot like a mouse. I would first start the Device Manager and uninstall the USB hubs, then restart the machine. See if that solves your problem.

If a windows update caused your problem, you can try to get back. Right-click on the icon in the lower left, and then select 'system '. Opt for the Protection of the system in the list on the left and look for a good restore point under "System Restore".

  • Broken after repair screen

Recently, after a message received on the laptop advise it be returned because of a problem with the fan, I sent my laptop to Toshiba UK, it was packed in the same packaging, he came and was in perfect condition when it was sent.

Now, after days of waiting for my laptop I rang and war horrified to discover a huge crack has been found due to the 'insufficient packaging' (even if it is their packaging) and I'm actually to pay more than £210 for a problem that was not caused by any fault of my own but people who cared UPS, and Toshiba. It is outrageous that told me to pay for the mismanagement of another person and I ask help be given to me or I will have to seek legal action. Other that the problems that have been found have been repaired under warranty but I still have the fact of a screen broken due to the fault of others. Please help me, my serial number is 5A469064Q. Call reference number is 71154900.

My package was the original, it was well packed with polystyrene scaffolding around each side and toshiba or their mail broke it and try to charge me to pay to fix it.

    Hey Buddy,

I think that you are not happy with the situation at the present time. It was really bad luck, what happened to you.

But don t forget that nobody is perfect. I don t know all the information, but I think that it s not Toshiba for lack of s. I think that your package wasn t correct handling or a very heavy Pack fall on your cell phone plan during childbirth, so the screen is broken.

In any case, you need to do something and you should contact Toshiba UK and inform them of the situation. I m that guys are going to help and clarify this with UPS too.

Keep smiling, all issues can be clarified and you're not lost ;)

  • Lenovo, Yoga 2 Pro - broken Autorotate

Autorotation is broken, basically trying useless rendering Mode. I bought it less than 2 weeks ago. It is running Windows 8.1. I have updated the BIOS to fix the yellow and have not uninstalled one of the applications of Lenovo, McAffee even not.

The laptop was working fine until last night. I was told it was a problem that happens to others and they fix it by restarting. I have rebooted 3 times and it still needs work.

    Can anyone help?

    Check these steps below

1 make sure that you do not have inadvertenly press the screen rotation lock button (right next to the volume rocker) in tablet mode. Try toggleing it in tablet mode.

2 panel-> display-> screen resolution, to allow the screen to auto-rotation is verified

3 services, make sure the sensor monitoring Service is running (you can try to to stop/start manually for troubleshooting)

  • Yoga 900 - no keyboard on the screen in Word in tablet mode

I have noticed that when I have my 900 in the configuration of the pad and open Word I can't bring up the keyboard

It is a problem with Word, rather than the 900 of Yoga, I think. I see the same thing on a Surface of 3 in tablet mode. You have two options to work around this problem:

    (a) turn off "Tablet Mode" to display the icon of the keyboard on the taskbar. Touch which will bring up the keyboard on the screen. Your physical keyboard should always be disabled when the 900 Yoga is bent in the Tablet configuration.

    (b) use the Word Mobile instead of the full word. It has all the features, but at least it will bring up the keyboard on the screen automatically in tablet mode.

  • IdeaPad Yoga 13: start, stop, and touch screen problems

Hi - I recently bought a Yoga 13 IdeaPad, and although I love the PC, I'm started having tons of problems with it. The computer now usually is blocked on startup and stop: choice of the option (from settings) closed generally won't hurt, and if to do this, it takes forever. Sometimes the power button stays on for 15 minutes after I turned off the computer, and the PC will not be restarted in this State. Yoga often does not start, just freezing on the start screen "Lenovo" flagged "Hourglass" of spinning. It took me several times and when it finally starts, the touchscreen is unresponsive for a while: I have to use the keyboard to drag it to the lock screen and log in. And while the PC has repeatedly sent in "automatic repair" after failing to start, repairs the problem.

Someone at - it ideas? I'm at the edge of the fair return of Yoga, but I also love it and would love to keep it if these issues can be ironed out.

    Thank you!

    Alan

There is a solution for the problem of update. It involves access in the application of msconfig and disable services left 3rd reactivation post update. Worked very well for me and many others. Search the forum for more details.

    I bought a Toshiba Dynadock U3.0.

After connecting my LAN on the HUB cable, how to do yoga to recognize the Internet connection?

For now, only works with wireless?

Everything else (connection USB 2.0 and 3.0 so that work very well HDMI output).

    Would appreciate some advice here!

    Thanks in advance.

Taking the advice and ran an update of Windows.

Of course, it updates had something to do with an Ethernet adapter.

After installation and reset, no change.

I opened the device in the control panel and low and behold, the USB Ethernet adapter was not on.

When the USB hub was attached, Windows installed automatically the drivers.

This time, I used the CD that came with the hub to install the set of drivers and guess what?

    Yep!

    I'm a fool.

    Lucky, but still a fool.

After you have installed the drivers on the CD provided, I have now an Ethernet connection works.

    Let that be a lesson.

    Always check the installation!

Thanks for the advice, he leads me finally to the right solution.

  • Help please - Clip + stuck on USB screen and won't do anything else...

I just bought a little used RockBoxed Clip + someone Head-fi.

The first time I plug the thing into my laptop with intentions of matching with my MediaMonkey software (so I can load it with music and manage, etc.), it crashes with the USB icon lights up on the screen and a few other icons. I discovered that even after disconnection (re-login) the device that this display won't go away no. matter what combination of buttons I push or press and hold for a while.

I included a picture to illustrate what I'm talking about here. I wonder if I should just go ahead and ask the guy to get a refund. Or maybe someone here will know what to do to get this thing not blocked. I tried to look for a pin hole to reset. I saw one at the back of the unit, near the top. I tried using a PIN in the hole, without success (I hope that she is in fact intended to be a reset hole).

Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

PS - Sorry, I can't get the picture to load here.

OK, finally got out of this screen after contacting the original vendor (who told me to press and hold the power button for: 20 sec).

  • Compact Z3: broken, the touch screen does not work, need to reset

    Hey guys,.

my phone is completely cracked and the screen no longer works. It's bad, because I can't unlock it, check the IMEI numbers or anything. I need a reset on this phone so I can sell it or send it to repair.

    (1) I tried Emma ("phone is locked")

    (2) tried Emma while pressing on "Volume +". LED lights up blue and nothing else happens, said Emma I need to plug in the USB cable, but it is already

    (3) PC companion tells me to unlock my phone but I can't

    (4) this tiny little yellow reset button does nothing

Thanks for your help! I'm googling and downloading for hours now, but nothing works for me.

Turn on the device? You don't see anything on the screen? In this case, a USB OTG cable is your answer. You can connect a mouse or a keyboard if necessary.

  • Stuck with USB screen after reboot

I restarted my TouchPad this morning at startup, I saw the HP logo for about 1 second, and then a large USB image appeared. The TouchPad has been sitting on this homescreen more than an hour without change. What should I do to recover up to the ad running? Just a little more information, the TouchPad is 50% battery when I rebooted. Could this be the cause? It would not show a charge indicator?

    Thank you

It turns out that my volume button was stuck/press and was the origin of the problem. It has been fixed now.

  • broken iPad splash screen/launch behavior using the landscape for AIR 3.6?

I've just updated to 3.6 Air (under 4.6 FB) and I now see a problem with my application to launch when the home button is on the left in landscape mode.

It's on my iPad 2 (current running iOS 6.0). However, this does not happen on my iPad3 (under iOS5.1).

Launch my app under Air 3.6 on my iPad 2 with button at the House on the left the following sequence occurs:

    -L' splash screen appears correctly.

-That the splash screen will not disappear, the app to turn backwards and will remain upside after launch of finishing.

-I turn on the iPad 180 degrees and then again so that it can recognize the good sense.

I have a few other applications that use the same project as a model and share the same code of launch. An application that I have compiled under Air 3.4 does not have this problem at all on the exact same iPad. The launch sequence works flawlessly.

I have a few other applications that have been compiled under Air on the same iPad 3.2 which show the following behavior, which is not too serious:

    -L' splash screen appears correctly.

-L' start for a brief moment screen flips upside down.

-L' splash screen then rights itself and the application starts the way upward as it should.

It seems that something has changed in the way AIR 3.6 manages splash screens and the launch of an application.

I don't know if this could be linked to the question that has been published here (even though it has been indicated for iPod/iPhone):

    http://forums.Adobe.com/message/5194883#5194883

    Hello

I had the same problem, and adding to the Argument of the right Version of Flash Player of compiler corrected it.

  • IdeaPad Yoga 13 + 0A 33970 ThinkPad USB 3.0 Dock Station + Windows 10 = no video output?

All connected to the dock station seems to work fine except for the video output, which does not appear.

Used to work fine under Win 8.1 but decided to move to Win10 yesterday... ugh.

I tried to update on the latest software/drivers from DisplayLink and the tray icon says 'No DisplayLink devices detected'.

    Someone at - it advice?

    Finally he got to work!
You had to use the heavy duty removal tool displaylink, unplug the displaylink to prevent resettlement (the instructions don't tell you this!), and then install the latest driver of Lenovo, then reconnect and let it complete the installation. Phew!
