You can assign a user created VM an agent attribute?

Hello

Just learn HA restart prioritize virtual machines in 5.0. I understand it is that, following this order of category;

Agent VMs

FT secondary VMs

High

Medium

Low

If you had a virtual computer that you considered critical to be in place between all first VMs in a failure scenario HA host is possible to assign a virtual machine an attribute, such that it would be considered a VM Agent as a system assigned for example vShield Endpoint?

Kind regards

Victor

  • You can assign attributes via the OutlineLoad.cmd utility?

    I create an attribute named Sun "Project Admin" with basic dim 'project '. I now want to assign the person to the different project under project ID. I can do this via OutlineLoad.cmd? The examples in the planning of Admin Guide do not give one to attribute these. I tried the below but he just create a new Dim attribute named "TextAttrib" for the size of the project.

  • You can prevent a user copy and paste in a text box Widget?

    Hello

    I use the Widget text box in a custom quiz that I created.  Is there anyway to prevent a user to paste into the text box?  Basically, I need to make sure that students to type in the answer, not just copy a document and paste in the text box Widget.

    Initially I was using BER (which naturally seems to avoid this) but moved to Widget text box, so I could to format the text.

    As always, I appreciate the help!

    They can also paste a TEB, sorry. You can provide such a limitation. The interaction of the scrolling text can be used to display the text (check the 'read only' option) or to allow the user to enter text.

    Not at the moment.

    You have to re-create the articles as a PDF. There is no way to change the format of an article having been created in a folio. You can, however, have a mixture of articles PDF and PNG/JPEG of the same Folio.

  • Chapters you can assign buttons automatically?

    I turn and go up marriages. All my projects are very similar, but I can't seem to create a model of the still with the same menus and titles. But is it possible to have yet to detect the chapters that I've already put on the timeline and automatically assign to all buttons. After all, the menus are named cronologically 1-4 (or 5) and all the buttons are in order, but I select each button and assign a chapter that takes time.

    Fairly limited, but try the chapter index option.

  • You can disable "Fast user switching" in window 7 Professional?

    Windows Help on the 'Welcome' screen, said that "Fast User Switching is enabled by default," which means that it can be disabled.  But Windows Help does not say how this could be done.  Can someone explain?

    I also want to turn off the display of the names of user accounts available on the 'Welcome' screen, as we did to the XP, but it seems that it's not possible.  True? -JCW2

  • You can assign output by ascending path to an existing project in the logic?

    Hi all

    Never really need to do until today

  • You can assign a numeric value to text

    I have a file with 8 names on it, 2 or 3 different names per day. At the bottom of the sheet, I want to show a total for each person how much time they came in a month.

    Is there a way to count these names and having a total individual for each?

    Here's a way to do this:

    In the table where you have the names (I named the table "List of names")

    Add a new column called 'Identification' as shown.

    Make the first line of header

    Select cell B2 and type (or copy and paste it here) the formula:

    = IF (COUNTIF ($A$ 2: A2, A2) = 1, MAX ($B$ 1: B1) + 1, "")

    shortcut for this is:

    B2 = IF (COUNTIF ($A$ 2: A2, A2) = 1, MAX ($B$ 1: B1) + 1, "")

    Select cell B2, copy

    Select the cells B2 at the end of column B, paste

    Now create a second table:

    I named the second table "summary of name.

    make the first line of header

    A2 = SIERREUR (OFFSET (name List: $A$ 2, MATCH ((ROW () −1), name List::B, 0)-2, 0), "")

    B2 = if (A2≠"", COUNTIF (name List::A, A2), ' ')

    Select cells A2 to B2, copy

    Select cells A2 at the end of column B, paste

  • You can run virtual machines created by merger in other operating systems

    If I install Windows 7 as a virtual machine using Fusion OSX and store the virtual machine on an external hard drive, it is possible to connect this drive in a computer running Windows or Linux and run the same virtual machine using something like VMWare Player? The idea is that if users have a Mac at home and a PC at work, we welcome with a virtual machine instead of a laptop.

    Thank you!

    OVF is a small and open format mainly used for the transport of virtual machines. After you deploy it, you will work with a normal vmdk, etc files (as far as I know... but I'm still learning new things here in this community)

    Now, performance, which is the other discussion. VMware has proved to be more solid and trusted platform... and for Windows VMS, I saw better than other hypervisors performace. It would make a difference, it will depend on how intense are your processes and the ratio of group you want to reach.

    To facilitate the management, security and stability, I highly recommend to use VMware. Performance should be better too, but it's harder to see sometimes. For a scenario of development where the snaoshots are very used, VMware will make a big difference.
