You can restart services in MSCONFIG that you stopped.  I stopped at some, but want to restart.  My computer worked after a reboot.  I want to start some upward

Return to msconfig and put a tick in those that you have removed and restart the computer.

You may need to go to the Windows Orb (start) > all programs > administrative tools > Services. Then scroll to beginning and either manually, or automatically allow those who are not running. Restart the computer.
