• HP Officejet 7410 all-in-One (wireless) will not be in service - seems frozen

  I have currently a HP Officejet 7410 all-in-one which includes the program Solution Center, I bought a HP 7612 Officejet 7612 e-all-in-one. Do I need to uninstall first the 7410 HP? The HP 7612 aura the program Solution on the installion also CD? I need a program that tells my computer when I'm scanning to save JPEG files in my computert.

  This is usually caused by a failure of the wireless LAN card.  You can solve this problem, as shown on this page.  Unplug the connector on the wireless card will disable wireless and correct the problem.  Since you're using USB shouldn't be a problem.

• 7410 all In One intermittent at best

  Using Windows XP Home, Service Pack 3, 3 GHz, 3 GB RAM.  .  I have a 7410 All In One connected via USB.  3 years old.   The common cause of this problem is a failure of the wireless card.  Since you are using a USB connection, you can remove the wireless card without losing all the necessary functionality.  The link here (focus on the shaded gray information, try to ignore the ads...) shows how to disconnect the wireless card.  There is further discussion (as well as some dead... links) here.

  I recently acquired a 7410 all in one, and can't use it.  As soon as I plug turns on and begins what appears to be a search.  This research does not stop.  I can't turn off without unplugging.  I can't access the menu.  I can't reset the unit either.   any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated!

  It seems that the problem is with the printer... Please turn off wireless and do not connect any other power cord other than the power cord. then try to turn on the printer... otherwise I'll have to tell you that the printer is to have some sort of hardware problem and you need to replace the printer.  So go ahead and try to restart the printer and snack if it is not resolved, then you need to replace the printer.

  I have an officejet 7410 all-in-one and UNPLUGGED my phone line at home. How to download software in order to fax/scan items? I get the message error is "you must install or run HP software for this feature.

  I've had this printer for several months now, I have had no problem connecting to my wireless network and connect computers, telephones and other equipment to this.

  I connected a laptop to the printer via USB and that seems to work ok, but a USB connection is not ideal and defeated the convenience of a wireless printer. I also tried to reflash the printer in case there is a corruption of the firmware, but the utility detects that the latest firmware is installed and that it is not engaged.

  Now...?

  OK I managed to make it work and I will try to explain the steps of my best.

  As mentioned previously, I tried another router, I tried the wiring, and I tried to reset the router and the printer. Nothing seemed to work.

  Out of curiosity I just put my phone in a WIFI AP. Tried connecting the printer and it worked. The printer connected to the WIFI phones.

  So I know that the printer works on at least one access point.

  Thus, in the settings of the router and firewall. The only thing enabled in the firewall have been

  Hey Heezie. You can certainly do. Then tranfer to another computer, you will need some sort of storage such as a USB device, a disc external hard or you can burn them on a CD. What operating system do you use?

  hP 6500 has more all - in-one E710 gives the message "integrated network capabilities have been disabled contact your network administrator" when I go to network menu.  I rest to factory default and get restarted three times and still the same message.  Powered down of every thing.  Same result.

  I would like to help you today to correct the message 'integrated network features have been disabled. Contact your network administrator' on the front panel of your HP Officejet 6500 a Plus e-All-in-One. This feature is programmed into the printer itself and can be disabled under webserver shipped as part of its security printers.

  If you have configured an admin lock on your printer, you must collect the IP address, your printer off and access the printers built-in web server by entering the IP address in the address bar of the internet browser on your computer. Once you access the built-in web server, you can configure the administrator lock settings.

  If you have not set up a lock on this machine to 'lock' the network capabilities, I'll have to send you a private Message with the semi-complete programming reset so that you can win your network of return capabilities. Please check your private Messages for instructions.

• 'Invalid WEP key' error on 7410 All in one wireless set in place

  My 7410 has been connected wireless for more than a year, but I just installed a new router (Linksys N600) and cannot get the connection Wireless upward.  All other wireless devices are connected to the new router.  Using WPA2-PSK [AES] security on the router.  Using Setup on the front of the printer and it is fine network SSID location.  But only allowing a WEP key and give me the error code whenever it is entered.  Have tried to change the length of key on router to 5 or 13 characters and also tried 10 HEX digits.  Have powered turn off/on the printer and reconstituted on network settings.  No luck with anything.  The Cisco router I had already installed was also a N Router - no problem of the 7410 wireless connection but try exchanged due to too many lost connections.  Any advice?

  I don't think that this printer supports WPA2.  Try WPA.

• Is the HP OfficeJet 7410 all-in-one ethernet ability limited to IPv4, or does it include IPv6?

  A new replacement of the router has been installed and I suspect that fast OEM install by default to IPv6, so I may need to break the detailed installation tips to see how to some device limited IPv4 parameter for this ancient printer.  TIA!

  I'm sure that its IPv4 only.  You can just disable IPv6 on your router, you really don't need it for your local network.

  Strange situation where the power button activates or disables the boot process.  Continuously display the start Word "Invent" with the HP logo.  May not know how to clear this or initiate the start?

  This can be caused by a wireless card has failed in the 7410.  If you can live with a wired LAN connection, you can solve the problem by unplugging the cables from the card wireless as described on this page.  (Ignore the ads...)  I've seen some reports that suggest to remove the cable, starting the device and plug and reconnect may work with the wireless, then available, but I just use mine wired lan.

  I am still using windows XP and a month ago, my printer has stopped printing double face and gies me a printing error.

  "The document could not be printed due to a system error.  I've read the problems with the update to W7 and wonder if there was an update that messed up my printer too.

  I understand that you have a printing problems with an Officejet 7410 and Windows XP, I would try to help.

  I would like that you try to make a copy of the front of the printer, if it can copy this means it should be able to print from the computer.

  If you are able to copy, run the print HP and Scan Dr.. Let me know if the print and Scan Dr. passes, which falls down or what has been fixed, etc.
