Your PowerPoint has stopped working

The error message is: "your powerpoint has stopped work, report the problem, and inform you of a solution." I don't know what to do to get to the point of being able to work again.

    I would like to ask a question to better understand:
     
    (a) what was the update has been installed?

    (b) what video format you are able to play on Media Player?

    You may need to do the following if you have not created a restore point

    Clean boot:
     
    This article describes how to start your computer by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can determine if a background program is interfering with your game or program. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot".
        
    To perform a clean boot on a computer that is running Windows Vista, follow these steps.
     
    1. click on start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
    If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.
    2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
    3. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.
    4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.
    5. click on OK.
    6. When you are prompted, click on restart.
    7. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.
     
    If your issue is resolved, follow the how to determine what is causing the problem section in KB article to narrow down the exact source.

    Try these steps after the clean boot and see if it works:
     
    Type command prompt in the start search box, right-click on command prompt and select run as administrator
    Type regsvr32 wmp.dll

  • Windows has stopped working

    Whenever I am busy with my computer, I get a message your windows has stopped working and stopped. It doesn't mean I don't work, but everything starts to become slower and slower. I am perfectly up to date with my updates, so don't know what to do.

    Looks like some component stopped, and windows needs to restart. Did you check the event log again? That may indicate this problem occurs because the machine is not crashing or stopping automatically (these actions would indicate a hardware problem).

  • Photoshop CS4 has stopped working

    I bought CS4 of staples in 2009 to about 1300 Canadian. After the year the product has stopped working. I tried to get help, but at the moment where no one helped me in the adobe community and support always force a faq and incredibly difficult to get specific answers from the company itself compared to when I guess it was in a smaller pool of market. in any case, this turn me off products Photoshop, although I always use photoshop 7, which is quite a small version. I'm not sure atm where is my version of $ CS I think that it s in stock at my place of mother when I was younger and some of my things in another province.

    My question is?

    If CS4 just something temporary, so a $1000 for a year of the value? And I can get it back?

    In no case when buy CS4 made say the license would expire I expected it has perpetual product auto. ALthoguh I've ever had response that was some time ago. Therefore, you can reinstall if you work with the same operating system as your copy of CS4 (Windows or Mac) and your computer meets the Photoshop system requirements. Be aware that newer operating systems may be incompatible with the CS4, which is eight years old.

    You are right that to reinstall you will need your serial number. If you still have the original packaging, check the cover of drive, box or inserts. If, however, the physical media disappear into the depths of storage of your mother, you can retrieve the number under Adobe ID Code associated with your purchase if you have registered the product. Sign in to your account and check under Plans & products. If you used a different e-mail in 2009, try under that. For more information on finding your serial number, please see this help document: find the serial number of your product Adobe quickly.

    Once you have your serial number, you can reinstall CS4 disc or download: Download CS4 products. If you encounter problems with the installation or the whole upward, ask a question with precision just what you install, the specifications of your computer and any errors you receive in the forum to download, installation, commissioning .     First of all, you're not telling the forum what version of Windows, edition and service pack level your system is running.  Please do.

    Secondly, there is no describe your system.  Tell us who makes your system and its model, if a packaged system.  If not packed, please tell us who manufactured your motherboard and model.  If your video card is another box and not originally shipped with the system, please tell us the manufacturer and model of the adapter.

    Finally and most importantly, please read 555375 Microsoft Knowledge base article, how to ask a question.

    Now, in general, unless your system has a card mother Intel®, you do not want to download an updated directly from Intel® driver.  If there is a system, you will want to download an update of the driver support from the manufacturer of your system model site.  If not packed, see web site for support of the manufacturer of the motherboard for your updated driver model.  If this isn't the case, a card mother Intel®, the reason for the not to load the Intel® GMA 3150 drivers from the web site Intel® is that there may be unhandled in the Inte® base drivers implementation changes.  Nor should download the drivers through Windows Update, except as a last resort.  If Windows Update contains an updated driver, check you motherboard of the system/website of the manufacturer for updates.  Be aware that some manufacturers/motherboard of the system (e.g. Dell) don't feel any economic incentive to keep the drivers/firmware to update if a motherboard system was abandoned.

    Try to uninstall the old version of the graphics driver Intel or by reinstalling fix it. It is always best to update the drivers to the latest version you can find on the website of the manufacturer of the computer. If you have no problem with the video/graphics and if the Action Center message bothers you in any way, you can turn it off in goin to this place the Center Items\Action Panel\All Control Panel control and then in the left pane click on change Action Center settings > uncheck the required Notification or uncheck everything. Click OK. That's all.

  • CD read - Error Message: Build with Autorun CD Studio has stopped working.

    I am running Vista and have had no problems reading CDs or DVDs.  However, I have a CD of my teacher built with Autorun, who will not play on my computer.  I tried 2 different copies without success, but the 2 same CDs play on all computers in the school and on the computers of the other students.  I have Microsoft Powerpoint and Word, that are required to read the files on the CD. When I insert the CD, I get the opening menu, but when I try to select any specific topic, I get the error "Build with Autorun CD Studio has stopped working" message.  I have downloaded and run the Microsoft FixIt! Program diagnosis/troubleshooting of Microsoft Support, but he could not find any problems.  I need this CD for upcoming classes and don't know what to do?

    1. are you able to browse the contents of the CD using Windows Explorer?

    It looks like Autorun CD Studio program is defective. We recommend you to uninstall and reinstall the Autorun CD studio software on your computer and check the difference.

    Note: before you remove the software, make sure you have the Setup file of software with you.

    Step 1: Uninstall or change a program
    a. see Uninstall or change a program
    b. Once you have uninstalled the program, restart the computer.

    Step 2: Install the Autorun CD Studio software. Once you have installed the program, restart the computer and check the difference.

  • My bi-ecrans Setup has stopped working with the latest update of Windows

    My bi-ecrans Setup has stopped working since the last windows update.  The second screen is relegated to never turn on and in the part 'View' of the Control Panel, I can't change the 2nd monitor resolution of anything in addition to 480 x 640.  I installed the latest drivers for the video card and two monitors.  I have everything down, powered, entretienavec left for a few minutes and fed up, nothing.  It has been like that for a few days now.  Any advice would be very useful,

    Hi, I'm on MacBook Pro (15-inch, mid-2015, retina), freshly updated for Sierra, force click has stopped working.

    I have checked all the options, rebooted the system, still no clear sign of what is the problem.
