Your system RAM is low Message

Can someone help me. How can I find what is using my RAM so that it is low (because it does not). I'm on Windows Vista Home Premium o/s, 32-bit version. I have 2 GB of RAM and the computer had no mods. 250 GB HD

I just made a recovery in the factory, for this reason (and other reasons), which are all cleared and the computer is better than it was. But still the message on the Low RAM

The only program that I have reinstalled is norton security. That is the program that gives me the message. When I run the Diagnostics option. But the report does not say what is using the RAM, only he is low? I thought that goes back to the factory would clearly this, because they come not new with low RAM?

The diagnosis of Norton above were made with the computer started upward, but don't use it. I had opened only norton to run the check to see if it has been fixed by recovery.

Thank you for your time and any assistance that you can provide.

Hi Erico,

I appreciate really all the info you provided, and I will use it to check and adjust if necessary.

I think that some articles, I have not explained clear enough? Sorry if this is the case.

Being a novice, I have to be sure of what I understand before making any changes.

1 / is the MSG original post (subject of RAM memory) No Windows, his diagnosis of Norton tool that comes with the security program. It was there before I made the recovery and always gave the same MSG after recovery. It was one of the reasons to make a recovery, to get the RAM to factory that is. not low. I could never understand why norton said he was weak, even after a recovery? Thought norton would come back with the report saying that RAM was good after the restart (not the case?). I was wondering if anyone could shed some light for example. Maybe norton is not exact, trust your windows you just say.

2 / the recovery Image was a thought later, thinking I can't made a recovery in the factory, because I didn't drive till much later after the use of the computer. I thought that maybe I actually recorded a picture with my consumption of the drive? I also did not know when the image for recovery, was recorded in the partition on drive D (the drive used for recovery). If this was recorded at the same time as my drive the meaning also with my consumption?

Or if in fact the recovery image was already on the D drive in its original form, regardless of what I do or have done.

What is the pagefile?

Once again very grateful for your time. I learn from your efforts and using the information that you provide.

A big thank you
