  If I load a new o.s. on my z10 and before that I did I load my all my pic, music and contact on a sd card. I also did a return to the top with the software link.

  So my problem is that I forgot to game data and data of the application do not forget. I read on this forum below.

  Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

  A backup BlackBerry link contains 3 types of databases. Application data, media, and parameters.

  The Data of Application contains data related applications such as game data saved, the local PIM data such as contacts and calendar data (which is stored locally on the BlackBerry, do not live sync) and notes in the application do not forget.

  Media contains a backup of all the images, video and music stored locally on your BlackBerry (not including the SD card).

  Parameters contains the General settings for BlackBerry as UI settings, notifications and email accounts.

  To answer your question; No, you cannot open the data specific restore all files and backup such as Remember application data or parts saved as they are part of the basis of Application data . However, you can select only the data from the Application to restore the backup and omit the media and settings , if you wish.

  the Z10 does not support java applications.

  with the exception of android applications that can be run in a runtime (but have not access to many API).

  I moved to + native waterfalls, so big c ++, made a little easier by Qt, which is much more similar to java by structure. It took me about 2-3 months to get productive with it (while developing java applications, it is so much shorter if you invest more time).

  The easiest way is to create a backup of your application Z10 BlackBerry via BlackBerry link (click the BlackBerry down and backup now).

  Then do a security wipe by going to settings > Security > Security wipe.  Please note: this will delete all data off the BlackBerry Z10.

  Or you can manually delete contacts one by one.

  Parameters is also on the phone call blocking, that is different. It should be obvious what it does. The first time you use it, you create a password.

  Well, there is no individual call BB10 it blocks.

  As a suggestion, I suggest you contact your service provider and see if they can help.
  Otherwise you can change ring the phone of the number to something that indicates that it is a wrong number and ignore.

  I use bluetooth in my car to make or receive phone calls and it only allows you to stream Pandora.  On my previous BBs, I was able to disable the handset function and just use streaming, but I'm not find similar options on the Z10.  Does anyone know how to do this? Right now I just turn off my stereo when I receive a call, but this isn't a good solution.  Thanks for any comments.

  The Z10 BlackBerry doesn't have the option to edit what services are allowed with a Bluetooth connection.

  Depending on your vehicle, you will need to access your Bluetooth set up or the settings in the dashboard of your car to control what features are Bluetooth-enabled.

  If you don't know how to access these settings, contact your dealer or see your owner's manual.

• Changing Z10 blackBerry device name gets the error message

  Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place for newspaper bug?  I don't see any bug report feature on z10 device similar to the older versions of the operating system, I have to raise this issue here.

  I went in my device settings - 'About' to change the name of devcie for a description more usability.  The default when registering on Rogers was 'BLACKBERRY - 54 A 8' for my device.

  I tried to change 'Mike z10' and after an attempt to save, I get the following error "device name not valid - have chosen you an invalid name.  A devcie name must be alphanumeric and may contain '-'and'.', but not as the characters of the first or the last and '.' can only be used as part of a complete domain name. "

  I don't think I'm violates all the above statement, however, it doesn't let me save?  I think this could be a bug?

• Z10 Z10 blackBerry turns on, error Code 10-0020

  My Z10 is about 1.5 years and it won't turn.  I called Blackberry Tech support and they said that my camera is out of warranty, and they wanted to charge me just to discuss the problem with my phone.  Very bad customer service!

  My Z10 has always held a battery charge for a long time, with no problems.  However, last week my Z10 which was showing 100% load suddenly started beeping several times then stop.   The phone was not connected to a charger.

  I tried to turn my phone on, but nothing happened... dead.  I plugged the phone into my charger and got the Blackberry logo then an error code: 10-0020.  The phone also showed a chart of the battery with a lightning bolt through it.  The screen then went black and the LED light above the phone started to blink.

  I looked at my battery and it was fine without visible problems or damage.  Inside my phone was going on as well.

  I ordered a new battery, however, I have the same problem.

  Any ideas?

  I followed the steps described below:

  Connect the Z10 to the wall charger for a few hours and then with it STILL connected to the charger, remove the battery for a minute, reinsert the battery to restart.

  I was very surprised to discover that my phone really started with the original battery.  It is always connected and the battery is charging.

  I have treid several times, same result.

  Then, I tried to restore it to factory settings using BlackBerry link (the latest version) by the "Reload" button During the action, the LED lights up green. But every time, it fails when the bar of progress comes to the end with this message:

  "Software update has encountered an error. An error occurred when updating the software of your device.

  Encountered unknown error [A:0 x 00000049].

  I tried the restore / reloading OS by above two methods several times with and without the battery inserted (battery power). SD card and SIM card are not connected.

  I have searched and tried a few suggested ways, including this article (also with the error A:0 x 00000049, http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-leaked-beta-os-f395/q10-full-os-10-1-0-2342-sqn100-3-a-811046/inde... but none of them works for me

  Succeeded. Now, I put OS level to the last 10.2.1.
