• BlackBerry Z10 WIFI limited notifications

  I have a Z10 with ATT 1.0.2074 running. The problem I describe happened before the last OS update.

  Home - when my z10 connects to my wifi - it shows connected, but I get a notification that the wifi is limited and I should connect another source. The wifi icon doesn't show in the bar at the top but ATT LTE, the BB logo and the bars are there.

  I have tried a reboot Z10, restarted the router - changed batteries - have run out of options.

  I run a web server from my home, so the router works fine and if I have a wireless connection to my laptop or tablet, fine. I do not understand the notification "limited." The full message says "wifi access is limited. Some websites are not accessible... etc >

  Edit: it doesn't with my wifi to work.

  Any thoughts?

  I guess if you look at the IP address on your Blackberry when on your WiFi at home, you will see something like:

  169.X.X.X, which means that it does not get assigned an IP address from your router.  A simple solution would be to assign a static IP address in the WiFi settings on your Blackberry to your home network.

  The other reported similar problems with some routers.

  We are using Exchange 2003 and BB10 tests at the moment.  I got the active BB10 and configuring activesync correctly. Email, calendar, tasks, contacts are working properly, but only the Notes could not be in sync to the BB10.

  Im not sure if it is problem activesync or BB10 problem. As I pointed out, Notes Sync didn't work on iphone or android via activesync connection either.  But I heard ppl saying that Notes can be synchronized between exchange and BB10 via activesync. So I wonder if it is possible and if so, how do I make it work?

• BlackBerry Z10 No. sound notification on NORMAL

  I have been using z10 for a week now. I noticed a major problem these days. Even if my phone is Normal mode, I'm not able to hear any voice (speaker) when I play songs or put the phone on speaker mode. Also, I do not have the sounds of notificiation. Please help the team.

  I (Normal) sound notifications and set of LED. The LED displays, but no sound when I get an email. I stop Bluetooth and disconnected the last connection (we have a Ford Escape that syncs with the phone). Still not beyond sound when a mail electronics/txt message arrives. Any advice?

  Make sure that you have followed the correct steps up to this point.

  Let's start with your notifications by e-mail. On your home screen, drag down from the top and select Notifications and highlight at the bottom of this page and select Applications. E-mail Messages, and select the e-mail in question account. Make sure sound is enabled and select a ringtone for your notification.

  If please post back indicating that you have followed these steps and do not always receive any audible notification.

  I don't know what the problem with my Z10 since last weekend, I noticed that any time my phone restarts all my data are deleted. I thought it was a minor problem new Apps I downloaded and deleted but there are still the stills. So I decided to delete my phone to factory settings and restore from a previous backup dated (02/02/2015) that i made before I upgraded to OS 10.3.1.2243. It has now got worse I can't even restore my previous backup as my phone, that's why, when the phone restarts after backup restoration as it does normally goes back to factory settings.   Yes everything works perfectly now and hope that it works for you. It takes a long time to download and install, but I'm happy, its working now (about 3 hours in total).

  I just got a new blackberry Z10. which I believe has been refurbishing My Vodafone provider.

  The blackberry is so bad that they actually sent me a knew phone and does not want this return of blackberry but I am frustrated by the latter.

  When receiveing the blackberry, I got the unlock code to unlock it, it worked perfectly.  Once unlocked, I entered my Vodafone SIM that didn't do not need to still use it with another sim card.

  Then I restored my old data from my previous Blackberry Z10, which also does not (various issues)

  Once you have set the vibration, you must apply the setting for applications of your choice.
  To do this, drag down on your home screen, then select Notifications. At the bottom of this page select Applications, then select this option so that is the app you want to request the notification. Make sure that vibration is selected for each application there is.

  I have the same problems and pursued...

  With respect to the characteristic bridge that's not finished yet developed for the Z10 to the tablet. The Bridge mode is really only good for limit navigation, but does not work well with sites secured using https.

  In the Playbook e-mail client Bridge mode will not work correctly. It works better in mode hot spot WiFi, or with the true USB tether.

  Tethering using Bluetooth does not work yet correctly with the Tablet and other types of tablets and Bluetooth connections between computers. With a laptop or desktop USB strap works great.  I use it myself with my laptop. I was told that Bluetooth attachment option be set in one of the next updates.

  The best solution is to use the phone mode hot spot WiFi for the tablet. It works very well, and it's much faster that the Bluetooth for fixing can never work. Bluetooth attachment is limited to about 2.0 to 2.5 MB/sec speed. With the hot mode the lanyard WiFi spot can go at the speed of your mobile data connection will allow. In 4G mode I got more than 21 mb/s.

  I use where possible a unit of external battery with my phone for more battery time using its WiFi access point mode. BlackBerry has this option. You can see them in Blackberry accessories at most of the places that sell Blackberry accessories.  CrackBerry.com and Futureshop sell it is incidental.
