  You mix the different parametersets of the cmdlet New - hard drive settings.

  In your case CapacityGB and DiskPath cannot be used together.

  I have a western digital HDD (WD1200U017-000 model number) that is not recognized by Windows Vista. It was recognized and work earlier, but is no longer working. I tried to re-boot and unplug several times. I know that the camera itself is functional because it works on other machines running windows XP.   I went to the Device Manager and looked for hard drive devices. I found one called unknown device or anything else. I chose option to remove, unplugged the unit, then plugged in again, and it started working. If you do not in the Device Manager list, perhaps it does not work on your computer. (I use no adapter cable. single USB cable).
