Z4000 wireless mouse

I just bought a Z4000 wireless mouse. I bought this if I could share a transmitter with the HP wireless keyboard.

When hibernating the computer (Windows 7), the mouse does not work when you restart. The keyboard works on reboot. Some time after the restart, (several minutes) the mouse works, but only after I press on the blue button "connect".

You can't buy one separately a keyboard mouse and expect it to work on an existing

Wireless dongle that you already have for another product. You will always have problems with your combination of mouse\keyboard in your current setup.

Games of mice and keyboards is paired with the plant-specific wireless dongles. Mouse and keyboard purchased separately are matched to their specific usb dongles.

  • Zoom scroll Logitech wireless mouse

I had my M750 for awhile, and until a few weeks before, hold down the command button on the keyboard of my Mac while I scrolled did nothing. Except navigate pages on Firefox. Now for some reason, since updated to update to Firefox 20, or even to the slightest touch of the control button, when I scroll with the scroll wheel to scroll to the top and to the bottom of the page on Firefox 20, it zooms in and out. Very annoying. Anyone know how to disable the zoom on the scroll wheel when you press the command key? Or is it a Firefox issue rather than a problem of software of Logitech? I use the command to automatically open links in a new tab. My finger is at hand. Just easier for me that way. But the slightest touch of the control key enables the scroll wheel zoom feature. And once again, never a problem so far. I actually knew a number of annoying problems since update to Firefox 20, which I had to find workarounds. What is one of the most annoying.

    Found my dose. https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/questions/821743

Set the value to 0 for mousewheel.with_meta.action

Testing, this only disables the command + zoom scroll wheel in Firefox. Scroll still works with the scroll wheel. It IS therefore a matter of Firefox. And when the update to the latest version, sort of to reset my previous configuration settings. I guess I have to put in place some time ago when I first came to the wireless mouse. I hope that Firefox does not change the settings in the future updates. Maybe even do to access patches like that much simpler. As included in the preferences. That is to say. Disable/enable the Zoom with scroll wheel.

  • Error message "wireless mouse.

    I have a Mac mini with OSX 10.8.5 end-2012.

From time to time, but too often to be acceptable, I get an error message telling me that my wireless mouse is not found (see screenshot). I did not and have never had, a wireless mouse. When this message appears, no mouse cursor doesn't appear at all and the only solution seems to be to hold the power switch on the computer for about 20 seconds, then restart.

I read a few posts on this topic in these Discussions, but cannot apply the any of the suggestions in these because I can't find a Set Up Wizard Bluetooth in my system. I have file Exchange.app Bluetooth in utilities in my Applications folder, but have no idea what it is. I have not found the .plist file mentioned in a post as a candidate for rampage, but I found com.apple.BluetoothFileExchange.plist. I should trash that?

And could someone please explain me what the Bluetooth File Exchange is for?

I have to add to the above the next time I started my Mac, the cursor froze on the screen, remaining visible but not likely to be moved, but no error message. Once more, the only way that I could start using the computer was by holding the power button down for 20 seconds, then restarting.

  • wireless mouse problems

My wireless mouse stops working in the middle of my work. I bought the last mouse thinking that would work did the same thing. I can move the cursor, but cannot get it right or left click, so I have to reboot. Often now. Any advise?

    Hello

First you have listed iMac with iOS systems.  They do not go together.   Unless you use El Capitan with your mouse (which should be the mouse Magic mouse 2 by your description), it will not work properly.   Please update to help your mouse works.

And when you have a moment, please, update your profile to show you have the devices and operating systems that you use for each.   We love to help, but if your information is inaccurate, life becomes very difficult.

    Thank you.

and even when I went to download a software to reinforce the msg me: "We have couldn't retrieve the list of drivers for your product." Help out me

    dhruvil28

    Hello;

Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

Sorry, but if your talk to get the mouse drivers from HP, what's not at work, such as HP does not include drivers for the hardware not HP.

Have you tried to download the drivers from the manufacturer of the mouse?

You must go to the settings, update & Security-> Windows Update.

Then, choose Advanced-> history to see when the updates have been applied last. If you see one that include device drivers, who might be the problem. So, if you can, you should see if you can restore the drivers that are causing the problem. Do so you by going into Device Manager, see if the device is still listed and so, trying to restore the last driver update.

And if this resolves the problem, then disable future driver updates by using the information in the link: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/48277-driver-updates-windows-update-enable-disable-windows-10-a.html

If the appropriate device adapter is no longer present in the Device Manager, what MIGHT work is something known as a repair installation. It is less destructive of all Windows recovery features and rewrites the Windows system files, leaving your apps, settings and data intact.

To do this, you will need to use the link to the installation media to download Win10 and burn a DVD or create a USB key: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/media-creation-tool-install?ocid=ms_wol_win10

Once you have, follow the instructions in the link: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/16397-repair-install-windows-10-place-upgrade.html

    Good luck

  • Pro L10: After using a wireless mouse, the touch pad has stopped working

Pro L10. After using a wireless mouse, the built in touch pad has stopped working properly. At the start of the keypad icon touch shows and the touchpad works intermittently, after a few minuets, the icon disappears and the touch pad stops working. In the control panel / mouse & or device drive I can how the program works, then disappears.

I deleted the software and reinstalled nothing doesn't. In some cases, I get a message that a pointer is on.

    Can you help me?

    Hello

It seems that the wireless mouse or mouse wireless drivers/software has a bad influence on the touchpad.
I put t have a good solution for this problem. Well, you can consult the page of the Toshiba driver for latest driver updates. If the updates doesn't solve this problem I suggest to use either the mouse wireless and disable the touchpad with FN + F9 key combination or use a regular USB mouse.
I guess that you are having regular problems with a USB mouse.

    Hello

On this path, it is not easy to say what the problem is. I guess you have some software installations to your external device. Install it and it should work.

As much I know external mouse functionality does not depend on the touchpad settings.
