• zBook 14 - cannot change the resolution of the screen after update

  After I installed software updates the portable suggested to me, my screen resolution went suddenly from 1900 x 1200 at 1200 x 720 after reboot and it won't let me change it, not even to a lower resolution. I'm very frustrated, because I need the computer week next for visualization work and I really need the screen works well.
  
  It doesn't let me change the resolution. Graphics and display drivers are up-to-date and functioning according to Device Manager. I did a system restore, but that just do everything worse although the resolution worked once again thing, I had to run a repair of the start several times before that my laptop would be starting another property again. This does not resolve the issue, given that the display drivers are not working properly (videos have been viewed very badly) and even after updating the computer won't start again, so I had made another system of recovery and now I'm to the point where I can not change the resolution and starting to be really frustrating. Also, (if it even starts) Windows is constantly freezing, forcing me to hard reboot.

  This looks like a lot of problems, you have there.
  
  First thing I would say is to do a check of the basic material. Your laptop will be built Diagnostics the F2 button on the HP logo. The hard drive on a test extended (approximately 45 minutes - 2 hours) and the memory test. If these two go, consider downloading of UEFI diagnoses from the above drivers download section.   My apologies: fault a comma (and everyone leaves out commas these days), I missed your comment about what is the same issue for Linux.  Just read too fast; no excuse.

  You are away until a stream of fast moving without means of transport.

  Otherwise, it sounds really not like it's material.

  Double check:

  • Cold start, immediately start tapping on F10 to enter the BIOS - if the problem is present in the BIOS, then the problem is in the hardware level.
  • If you have the means to connect a VGA monitor, and the image is good on the external monitor, then the screen or cable is bad.
  • If the image on the external monitor is the same as on your laptop, then the video card itself is bad OR not has no welding holding to the motherboard.

  At random times (apparently), the screen of my MBP is pixelated complete noise when I open the lid to wake up from its sleep. The only apparent workaround is to force a hard reboot. This poses a real problem for me since I was four profiles out there, two of them children who do not have as many user privileges. When it comes to them, they are not able to connect and if my wife and I are not at home, the portable computer is rendered useless because you can't go past the noisy display. It occurs when starting a shutdown state and don't happen, while only being used. It seems to happen when the lid was closed and the computer is in "sleep". It doesn't matter if the computer has been dormant since an active log in or if either of back us computer status in the connection pane.

  My last attempt to diagnose with local Genius Bar appt simply had me turn off FileVault Security, since I have several user profiles on the laptop. Seemed to work but this time now is back and as I began, it seems random when it happens. It came in several versions of El Cap (the system is up-to-date with the latest 10.11.6)

  If your 2015 is under warranty, take it back to the Apple Store and ask them to do a test of stress with the GPU.

  If everything is OK on the external monitor that is the best evidence that this problem is related to the internal LCD. Display must be exchanged.

• Satellite Pro 2100 two cables behind the screen

  I have a Satellite Pro Satellite Pro 2100 and the hinges are shot, so I bought a 2100 piece to Exchange.
  Everything was ok except that I have two sons that I can't find a place to plug in.   All laptops with WLAN have this. WLAN antenna is placed behind the screen and these two wires must be connected to the WLAN antenna.

  If your laptop doesn't have WLAN card put just the cables aside and everything will be OK.

• Satellite A500 - nothing appears on the screen of laptop

• The screen at the top of my iPhone 5 c seems to go out until I see the light coming from the side.

  A few weeks ago, I noticed that my iPhone screen Pop out, more clearly in the upper right and on the top of the phone.  I see the same light coming out of the side.  When I go to push in the phone it appears just to the top in a few seconds.  I have been using a Holster speck for as long that I got on the phone and there is no cracks, however I drop the phone often.  At first I thought it might be a bloated battery, but from my understanding the battery is on the left side of the phone.  Anyone know the cause of this device or what I could do to prevent more of the screen to burst?

  (I've attatched some pictures to try and see what happens if a different perspective might help diagnose the problem just ask of the!)

  I just bought a * new * Satellite A660-149 notebook online (eBay, UK seller), as the title says.

  All seemed well, package and everything. Sheet of clear plastic on the sides of the laptop (not on the screen although). I registered it through the Toshiba record Utillity. Yet, on the link: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/globalEntitlement.jsp says that it is not registered.

  Today, I noticed that the four small black senior round plastic that cover the four screws at each corner of the screen are scratched or damaged a bit around the edges, as if someone had used a screwdriver to remove them. And they are stuck with a kind of glue.

  Shouldn't they be strong and clear? Is that normal, everyone noticed that? Because if this also applies when you buy the laptop directly from Toshiba, I dial it just with it.
