  Restore your computer to a point before the updates being installed with the System Restore.  Then proceed as follows:

  1. go in Control Panel , and then select Windows Update.

  2. click on check for updates.

  3. once the results come back, click on the link that shows Important updates and deselect all the updates except the first 3 or almost and install the updates.

  4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 until you receive the error message.

  Our computer is protected by word (a Director) & one for the other.  It expires after short periods of no use constantly (approx. 1 to 2 minutes).  How can we change it takes longer before having to enter password again?

  -You have the screen saver on your computer?
   
  If so, this could be the cause of the problem. By selecting the on Resume, password protect check box in the tab screen saver locks your computer when the screen saver is activated. When you begin working again you will be asked to type your password to unlock it.
   
  Follow these steps to resolve the problem:
   
  a. click Start, click Control Panel, click appearance and themesand then click on display.
  b. in the tab under screen saver screen saver , click a screen saver. Increase the waiting time in the menu dropdown.
  c. uncheck the box that says "on resume, password protect".
  d. click on apply. Click OK.

  In the past two months my Satellite phone has been 'cut' operating environment. It seemed to me that the cooling fans were constantly running at high speed and the air coming out of the (output) rear was warmer then normal.

  I visually inspected the ports of entry at the bottom of the envelope and they do not appear to be blocked by dust or whatever it is. Yesterday, during 'Disc clean-up', he cuts and just wouldn't start again.

  When I try to start the system, the following events happen: first, the "Toshiba" appears as always and then after a few seconds it replaces the logo 'loads Windows' as usual.   As a prelude to 2014.0, we have added a feature allowing you to choose what number to start the increment of.  Look in the section ingest Rename dialog and change your preset. When you click the button, you should see the option "Custom Auto Increment". This will allow you to choose what number to start on.  We've also added a few newspapers to try to remember where let prelude last successfully interfere the operation by using this option. So, in theory, to remember the number for you. But if it isn't (maybe you want multiple kickoff ingested at the same time) you can always manually set the number to start with.

  I have a persistent problem that starts to become annoying... Portege 700 running Windows 7. Normal use (office, WMP, IE anything heavy)

  No apparent reason (no new requests started for example), there is a sudden increase in the speed of the fan which should be max (looks it takes off) and I suspect use of the processor at the same time. And it's that it's not simply to stop (I left for awhile on occasion) and does not match an input (keyboard or mouse). The only 'solution' is to use the power button to force a shutdown. (And then I lose all cookies etc. when starting again).

  I did a lot of Googling on that. Thought it was WMP network sharing Service and has taken measures to see, but have recently disabled that service and still the problem occurs... (I checked that it is always disabled when just rebooted).

  I keep as 'clean' as I can (have AV installed, use ccleaner regularly etc etc) so would be surprised if a virus/worm, but am running a scan again just in case...

  This happens quite often be a pain - and I have no idea what is the cause, if any ideas gratefully received.

  Making the possible mistake of meet without first tested... is it possible that the problem is that you have traded the upper and lower limits? The timestamps are numbers and dates are a greater number. 12 being greater than 8, the upper limit should be 11/12/2014, and the lower limit should be 11/08/2014.

  EDIT: after testing, Yes, it is definitely the problem. Exchange your upper and lower limits, and it will work as expected.
