0x000000ce BSoD - please help!

"STOP 0x000000ce DRIVER_UNLOADED_WITHOUT_CANCELLING_PENDING_OPERATION" the BSoD arose three times in the last two weeks on my laptop. Everything started after I installed Kaspersky software (and I have to remove Norton/Symantec/and any other virus removal software to do this). I read that Symantec device drivers have been known to cause a BSoD. Any help to fix this pain in the * would be much appreciated!

    Hello

We have three controls compatible bug:

    MEMORY_MANAGEMENT (1A)

This indicates that an error occurred serious memory management.

    Error checking 1A, {41790, fffffa800339b0a0, ffff, 0}

UPTE has fallen below zero, which implies usually a driver caused the corruption (or faulty RAM memory).

    System_service_exception (3B)

This indicates that an exception happened during execution of a routine that passes from non-preferred to the privileged code code.

This error has been linked to the excessive use of expanded memory and resulting from user mode graphics drivers enjambment and passing data incorrect of the kernel code.

    Bugcheck 3B, {c0000005, fffff80002abdac5, fffff88009801810, 0}

The exception is produced in nt! ExpInterlockedPopEntrySListFault16.

    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (50)

This indicates that invalid system memory was referenced.

Bug control 0 x 50 usually occurs after the installation of a faulty hardware or installation failure of material (usually associated with defective RAM, either main memory, L2 RAM or RAM video cache).

Another common cause is a defective system service installation.

Antivirus software can also trigger this error, as can a corrupted NTFS volume.

    ---------------------

Run Memtest for NO LESS than ~ 8 going on (several hours):

    Memtest86 +:

    Download Memtest86 + here:

    http://www.memtest.org/

    Which should I download?

You can either download the ISO pre-built you want to burn to a CD and then boot from the CD, or you can download the automatic installer of the USB. What this will do is format your USB drive, make a boot device and then install the necessary files. Both do the same job, it's just you that you choose, or you have available (be it CD or USB).

Note that some older generation motherboards do not support USB boot, your only option is CD (or floppy if you really wanted to).

    How Memtest works:

Memtest86 writes a series of test patterns for most of the addresses of memory, reads the written data and compares it to find errors.

The default pass is 9 different tests, varying in the modes of access and test data. A tenth test, bland, is selectable in the menu. He wrote all the memory with zeros, then sleeps 90 minutes before checking to see if the bits have changed (perhaps because of refresh problems). This is repeated with all those for a total time of 3 hours by pass.

Many chipsets can report RAM speed and timings by SPD (Serial Presence Detect) or EPP (Enhanced Performance Profiles), and some even support changing the expected memory speed. If the expected memory speed is overclockee, Memtest86 can test that memory is free of error with these faster settings.

Some hardware is able to report the status of the "PAT" (PAT: active or PAT: disabled). This is a reference to the Intel performance acceleration technology; There may be the BIOS settings that affect this aspect of memory synchronization.

This information, if it is available for the program, can be displayed via a menu option.

Other questions, they can most likely be answered by reading this excellent guide here:

  • Blue screen, but it is NOT BSOD - please help!

I have a virtual Windows XP, I used for a long time and you stupidly don't have active Auto-Protect. So my only SnapShot is too old to use.

I tried to disconnect from my Windows XP machine yesterday and the screen went blue. My mouse can move inside the Virtual Machine, but I can't do anything.

I tried to stop, but nothing seems to happen. I tried to send a Ctr Alt Del to it and nothing.

    Help, please!

Press the Option key and select form off voltage or reset the Virtual Machine menu.  Note: This is considered a stop/reset and can have consequences, but you will have no other choice, if all normal methods have failed.

  • NVIDIA 8400 GS display freezes driver Windows 7 with BSOD - please help

    Hello

I have a desktop HP Pavilion Elite m9040n. I've upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit about 6 months ago. It works fine, but the last few weeks that my PC keeps freezing with the display driver to crash. The last update of Windows or Adobe Flash player could have caused it? I tried different versions of the Nvidia Windows 7 display driver without success.

    Any suggestions?

I replaced my graphics card to an ATI Radeon HD 4350 (I got to use it and could not go higher because of the restrictions of electricity in my PC motherboard) and all the problems have been resolved. Just an info.

  • T430s - BSOD (of driver power state failure). Please help identify the driver

I meet regularly with BSOD on my T430s / Win7 when switching mode standby (Fn + F4). The error message is driver_power_state_failure. This happens almost every day. Driving me crazy!

I know it's a common problem (I also had with a former T500, but not on T420). After Googling around, I discovered WinDBG and how to identify the faulty driver that is causing the problem.

However, I could not install the tool - or debuggers package (referenced on windbg.org), nor the tool set + a .NET framework from the Microsoft Web site. The old guard quit the installer with no message (although the Remove Programs dialog shows the thing installed, it seems to be no program to run), the latter does install without no diagnosis (installation only, tried the debugging tools tried to install the complete package - same result).

So, can someone please help to analyze the memory dump and to identify the faulty driver? What file is needed for this - the memory full image (from folder/Windows /, ~ 500 MB in size) or the minidump file (from/Windows Minidump file / / /, ~ 700 KB in size)? Or both?

Several days after, I don't get BSOD more, even though I kept pushing the laptop "standby mode" on a regular basis, with or without food. Since already BSOD passed almost every day (to, like, try every 3rd or 4th go to sleep) and now there is none, I would try and call this problem is "solved".

Let's see if just once he returns

I'm not really sure what has helped exactly - I've only updated (a little) drivers manually (after Lenovo update system running with only a few boxes checked). These pilots were audio, video and network ones. USB 3.0 driver has been updated before, but that alone did not effect.

I've also updated the BIOS via the Lenovo system update (strange, but it worked, unlike my manual attempt via downdloading non-bootable-CD version of the Lenovo Web site).

Hope this helps other people are having the same problem.

Computer stops in normal mode quickly. Do not use in safe mode, because I have no sound or security, please help?

    Hello

Could be heat related - try using a small fan to blow into the air intakes to see if that helps.
It is just like it loses power or stop it in the normal way? Keep in mind
This associated heat does not always mean too much heat as it is often a part or a component
who is too sensitive to normal levels even heat.

Remove ALL power and reinstall all the memory cards and cables (both ends where possible).
in fact, remove and replace - don't do not just tight. Remove the dust bunnies and clean the
air vents. Check that fans are working (before and after opening the case). When your laptop on all the
You can do is to reinstall the memory and clean the vents (still may try to add a small fan as a
    test).

This sounds like material so if the above does not help you then probably need help

    Support of system Maker.

Check with these utilities to see if information may be collected: run BlueScreenView
to see if there were any BlueScreens and verify in MyEventViewer at shutdown

It is an excellent tool for displaying the blue screen error information

    -------------

MyEventViewer can be verified at the time of the blue screen (BSOD) or event within a second
or time of the BSOD or event to provide more information about the possible cause - see TIP.

MyEventViewer - free - a simple alternative in the standard Windows Event Viewer.
TIP - Options - Advanced filter allows you to see a period of time instead of the whole of the record-
Set it a bit before and after the time of the event or BSOD.

AppCrashView - free - a small utility for Windows Vista and Windows 7 which shows details
application of all accidents occurred in your system. The information breaks down is extracted from the
.WER files created by the Windows Error Reporting (WER) of the operating system component of each
time that an accident has occurred. AppCrashView also allows you to easily record the list of accidents to
    text/html/csv/xml file.

Also do this so you can see the probable bluescreens. (You may or may not be able to see
them if they occur even after doing this according to the cause.)

  • My computer freezes please help me

My computer hangs at random crashing. He just started to happen randomly. The screen goes black, but his continuous for stutters a little then the last thing before that everything shuts off and restarts my computer. No error message appears and I can't find anything in the event viewer that would lead to a crash. I build the computer about a month ago and it has never had a problem like this before. I tried making sure the RAM and video card are not dusty. The CPU does not overheat. I updated the drivers for my card graphics and motherboard. I also scanned for viruses in safe mode, but I still don't know the cause is. Please help me.

"It is not a true crash, in the sense that the blue screen was launched only because the combination of material and video driver video was to be insensitive and not because of any exception processing synchronous".

Since Vista, the components of "Timeout detection and recovery" (TDR) of the subsystem video OS have been able to do some really impressive things to try to find issues that would have led to the earlier OS like XP to crash.

As a last resort, the TDR subsystem sends a video driver command "Please restart you now!" and wait a few seconds.
If there is no answer, the BONE concludes that the combo of driver/hardware video has really collapsed in a heap, and it fires at this stop 0 x 116 BSOD.

If playing with video driver versions did not help, make sure that the box is not overheated.
Try to remove a side panel and a fan of big sector directly to the motherboard and GPU.
Run it like that for a few hours or days - long enough to check whether the cooler temperatures make a difference.

If so, it could be as simple as dust accumulation and inadequate cooling afterwards.

I download cpu - z and gpu - z (both free) and keep an eye on the video time

  • Please help with my error blue screen error checking was: 0x0000000a

    Hello

Periodically, I get a BSOD in my computer Windows 7 Professional. This happens all the time, but usually shortly after startup or when the computer has been idle for a while. I saw a lot of people talk about problems of memory. Maybe it's my case but I ran Windows Memory control and also MEMTEST86, and no error occurs. I hope someone can help me refine my problem it is a problem of driver or compatibility of memory itself. Peter

Well Yes, 2 sticks remove 1 try each slot. If theres only 2 slots. See what stick breaks down in any location

If the 1 stick is not crash after so long (depending on how long it takes to plant it now).  Remove it, put it in the other location. Do the same thing.

If a stick plant in 2 or all slot machines, do the same for the 2nd round
