  4.1 CCM 10.5 CUCM migration is now in the process. We have the task of verifying the COR on CUCM 10.5 every 10 minutes, get recent calls list and save it to external DB. On CCM 4.1 to get the necessary data from MSSQL weren't a problem. No idea how to do it on CUCM 10.5? It is possbile to get direct access to the DB? Perhaps, there is a mechanism of export of CUCM CDRs?

  You can have all the flat files CDR, transferred to the SFTP server. From there, you can query to external db.

• CUCM licenses BASIC vs. essential

  Hi all

  There's a CUCM 9.1.2 with the ELM license server.

  We received a warning of license for essential licenses that I don't understand.

  See attached photos:

  CUCM report shows license_usage_report_cucm.jpg.

  license_usage_elm_server.jpg illustrates the use of the ELM.

  ELM generates a warning of license for 1 license key.

  ELM how the use of licenses?

  The CUCM are 39 ports ATA configured and 39 users who have need of issuing base for example remote Destination profiles.

  But the installed licenses are Basic 35 and 33 essential.

  You have 8 improved and Enhanced Plus 1 licenses more than the required number. In total, you have 9 additional licenses on top of your licenses required in both categories improved/more.

  Now go Basic and essential your installed licenses are below requirements: you run short 6 basic essential and 4 licenses. Total if you run short of 10 licenses here.

  When you run short of licensing in the category of essential basic / it will start borrowing of higher categories, so after having borrowed 9 additional licenses available (from improved/improved more) now you run always run 1 license. That is displayed in the warning.

  If all goes well, it should be clear.

• TMS + CUCM telephone directories

  When you work with a complete CPU, composed of the following deployment:

  • CUCM (8.6/9);
  • VCS-C/E;
  • MSDS;
  • Jabber for Windows (CUCM);
  • Active component URI between CUCM and VCS.

  Ideally, in this scenario, I would that all of my Jabber for Windows clients to see all room based systems that are registered in VCS, when they try to get a system/user.

  I know that these directories are two distinct entities, does anyone know if it is possible to propergate the "all systems" TMS phonebook in CUCM somehow, or would it be a manual process?

  Hi Simon,.

  We are working on a solution like this.  If your room based systems were kinesiologist to CUCM, they show up in the directory for all your CUCM based systems.  I understand that there is a reason why you want to way keep your room systems on the RESUME for the time being.

  In the next version of TMS, we will see a new type of telephone directory of "CUCM", which are all systems configured in CUCM.  So your TMS direct managed or put into service endpoints will be able to see all systems no matter where they are registered.

  TMS systems are avaiable in directories CUCM is identified as a highly desirable item, but currently I don't have a timeline.

• Why not show the photos imported into Lightroom?

  I imported a file of about 170 photos in lightroom using the same process I used for a month.  the files are a combination of canon .cr2 files and corresponding .jpg files that go with the .cr2s.

  After the import is complete lightroom showed zero pictures in this folder.  I immediately took panic and double checked that all files really did not exist in the folder via windows Explorer.

  However, if I go back and try to re-importation of the import function files shows all files as having been previously imported.

  I tried the process "synchronize the folder" and it shows first as '170' files to import, but after the full synchronization function it shows 0 files processed.

  Any ideas why lightroom refuses to show this particular group of files?

  I suspect it's something either really easy or the library on my system is messed up because of corruption.

  If the library is messed up how can I do to rebuild.  These photos are critical for me because they are shooting at the head of an actress.

  Here is my proposal... you imported photos with the copy option, and if your Windows Explorer thinks that they are in the Outbox folder (so you think), and Lightroom they think in case Z, where the photos have been copied.

  So... in Lightroom, if you si vous pouvez pouvez go to catalog the left panel, click on all photos, find one of these photos of 170 critical and do a right click on it then go to the folder in the library. This will tell you where Lightroom think that pictures are found. From there, you can work with photos, or update their folder location A (where you think they should be). If it works and that's what you want, writing back and we will advice you and others.

  Never seen that before. You want to know if I should answer with my passwords or not.

  If you use your Mac with an active firewall I guess that his Apple. There is always a chance, but he wants no doubt for is Mail (check if you are connected) or calendar/hangouts in messages app. Go to System Preferences, then Internet accounts and make sure your google account is connected. If it is, I guess you could probably ignore the message unless he shows a particular reason to connect (IE messages like etc.).

  My first question is, where I can see what version of BIOS is running?
  I tried all kinds of keys at the start, but all I get is the Toshiba logo, and then the operating system starts.

  Second... I want to update BIOS, but I can't find this model on websites of Toshiba.
  It is made in Germany, but even the German site, does not show this particular model.

  The problem is... the drive is dying and I might need to replace it in a few moments.
  So I would like to know if the current BIOS can handle larger disks (40Gig and more).

• The home screen error

  Hi all

  Last week, I get an error every time I have unlock my phone. Once I have unlock it and go do something else (open an app, load moment Google') - it doesn't seem to make a difference if I have a PIN lock or no lock at all.

  I've attached a picture to show the particular error.

  Any ideas as to why this could happen. I tired a reset, enter safe mode and restore up to now and they have not made a difference at all

• Effectiveness of the Cartesian to spherical coordinate of the conversion

  I use a VI in the LV 2014 distribution called ".vi NI_AALPro.lvlib:3D Conversion of coordinates (scalar)". It uses DBL inputs and outputs and has several functions of table build in it as a library function call. I need to make a massive number of Cartesian to spherical conversions with SGL values, and so I would like to re - write this VI using LV primitives most efficiant manner.

  The calculation seems to be pretty simple, and I've attached a VI that does this. However, there is a problem with the calculation of the polar angle. From what I've read online, this is just arctan (y / x), but I get incorrect values when x is negative (but not when there is negative).

  From what I've read on the site of Wolfram, "the inverse tangent must be properly set to the right quadrant of (x / y) into account." I searched online for more details on the calculation, but I'm lost. Any trig works there who can help me?

  Definitions are extremely important in the definition of coordinate systems.  You include with your VI Cart_to_Sph documents of many errors and inconsistencies.

  This is a convention that I use and which seems to be acceptance quite wide (I'm not sure that's the convention of Wolfram, however).

  Let X, Y and Z is a right coordinate system.  That P is a point whose X, Y, Z coordinates we know.  Define a system of spherical polar coordinates (SSC) as follows:

  • Project of a line from the origin to P.
  • RADIUS (rho) - length of the line from the origin to P.
  • The line of the project on the X - Y plane.
  • Azimuth (theta) - measured Angle to the left of the x-axis for this proposed line.  By convention, theta varies less pi (radians), pi.
  • Polar angle (phi) - the angle between the axis Z (or 'pole') and the line from the origin to P.  By convention, including phi between 0 and pi.

  Under this system of coordinates, the following code (very similar to Altenbach, which uses a slightly different coordinate system) cards X, Y, Z in Rho, Theta, Phi:

  

  We will check certain quantities of 'known '.  Start with the x-axis of the unit, [1, 0, 0].  This clearly has length, Rho = 1.    The X axis lies in the XY, so the angle between the latter and the Z axis is 90 °, Phi should be pi/2.  Finally, the projection of the X axis in the XY plane is located along the X axis, so the angle between the two axes of X is 0, so Theta should be 0.  The first Re / Im polar will give 1, Theta Yes 0 = 0.  The second will give 1, pi/2, and Yes 1 = Rho and Phi = pi/2.

  How about unit Z, [0, 0, 1]?  Again, the length, Rho, is 1.  Technically, since the z plans on the origin, the Azimuthal angle cannot be properly defined (the X coordinates and are 0), so we'll do a loophole 'math' and just say that it is zero.  The polar angle is easy - the angle between the Z axis and the pole, the Z axis is 0, so Phi = 0.  Now "do the math".  Put [0, 0] in the first Re / Im polar gives [0, 0], so theta = 0.  The second d / Im to polar takes [1, 0] [1, 0], Rho Yes = 1 and Phi = 0.

  It is easy to show (in particular by the coding of this place and put in test of numbers) that negative quantities are working properly.  Rho is always non-negative, Phi is always in the range 0... PI and theta of pi-pi, with the sign depends on the sign of Y (as it should).

• 2nd hard drive install on pavilion dv7-3060us 17.3 inches with Quad core processor

  Pavilion dv7-3060us computer has a 2nd hard drive Bay.  On 2 flags of 17.3 inches previous, I installed a 2nd HDD.  This quad core Pavilion is much thinner than the previous pavilions;  the underside of the computer has also a centre piece in the form of "T" in the Panel without screw - is a pop on the access panel or the entire bottom panel needs to be removed through the perimeter screws?  Still trying to find a manual showing this particular case - no luck so far.  The downloaded HP

  Manual for the previous dv-7 is for the case of style like unless I missed something.

  Install an SSD soon - would like to have all the "stuff" to install a 2nd drive hard if possible.  Anything I should be aware of before perform this procedure?  Don't really want to remove all the merits of the case.

  I appreciate the help.  The Caddy is the same that I used before (on the 1st dv7) the 2nd dv7 used the direct taking of 90 degrees into the adapter.  I have both of these me more allotted a 500 GB HD.  All I need pickup is the SSD.

  The "T" sign on the back of my case has no screws - but I can see the 3 component tabs snap at the top of the "T" through the small crack on the case.  These are shown on the exploded view of repair.  I'm projecting from the 'snap-out' Panel down on the vertical leg of the "T".

  It is very easy to use. Simply format you a URL, ask that and get you a PNG image that you can view in your application. A legal question to know is that you are supposed to only use the images produced in this way in a web page.

  However as soon as I import QtQuick, the app deploys, opens, then stays on the loading of BlackBerry screen. Commenting on this release fixes the problem (but obviously then the element connections does not work).

  I said also that using connections works fine, as long as you import QtQuick like this. (At least, I checked with beta 3 in an early test, but haven't used since.)

  I use most of these signals State window and app, especially Application.thumbnail. The specific line that I use fits into a broader framework to support this through several applications, but currently, it looks like this:

  Obviously, my dispatch() function is reused for other signals, etc., but is that it works fine for me.  In fact I use it to record my status app, for example, changes in parameters, because it offends me to write in the file system whenever the user changes a single parameter (when they can change another 10 immediately after)...

  I think that one of the key elements missing is this.

  You can already follow some data in based on CUCM CDRs.

  For meetings of P2P and Community trade marks, you can use CDRs records like any other phone to phone call to track the duration of meetings and the use. Any decent billing application should be able to generate those, in the end, they are always regular calls. (You can also use CAR to do this, will be very basic but will still help)

  If you have any specific requirement, we cannot follow with CUCM CDRs or CDRs CTMS you can hire your team counts Cisco so that they can talk to TSBU and apply for PERSONS of a specific feature that you need in your deployment.

• Webex Cloud CMR SIP video calls disconnect after 20 seconds

  Hello

  I am running version 9.1 with Exressway-C CUCM / 8.6 Expressway-E.  I have no problem doing business SIP video calls.  However when I make video calls on a site of WebEx CMR, the call becomes still cut off after 20 seconds.  It is audio and video for the first 20 seconds and then disconnects the call.

  I was able to recreate this situation of 3 of my clients running CUCM version 9.

  I have 2 clients running CUCM v10.5 and the issue is not the case.  I don't know if this question is 100% related to the CUCM version, but looks like a correlation obviouse.

  I watched the SIP trace and it seems that the endpoint CUCM is end the call with normal call clearing.  I tried 8945 phones, jabber for iphones and a C40 and I get the same results.

  If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.

  Can you receive calls B2B? During the call set up, Webex will try to set up another session TCP inbound to your E Expressway on port 5060 and 5061, do you have this open to outside within the TCP sessions? (see page 5 of the CMR-Cloud deployment guide: http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/sol...)

  If they are open, the TCP session is configured for an incoming invitation with complete SDP of the TPS Cloud, you can check your sip max message size is located at 11000 - if you went from CUCM ~8.6 5000 was the default size and the default continues for an upgrade.  Check under system-> Service settings-> CUCM service-> show click on the button to display all options, and then check the size of incoming messages SIP advanced Max.
